Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Had dinner at the pub restaurant. Food was delicious and staff friendly. Rooms look a bit older. But stay was enjoyable. Priceline deal was under $70. So a great bargain

Rooms were clean and well kept, golf course looked great but I did not have a chance to play. Elevators looked a bit old and could stand to be renovated, especially the button panel. Some buttons would stick.

This hotel is definitely not a nice place to stay. The hallways are dark and smells horrible. The beds are uncomfortable. The only nice thing was the golf course field. I never come back to this hotel.

We've never had a hotel experience quite this bad. I am a patient man, but after 2 nights of disappointment, lack of sleep and being overcharged, I was exasperated.

1. We reserved a King bed, received 2 "full" beds. When I went to ask about it, the lady said "We have 3 weddings here this weekend, it is what it is."

2. Our air didn't work much if at all. I asked for assistance, they called it in. After almost an hour of waiting for them, I gave up and cancelled my request so we could try to sleep.

3. Our second night we were locked out of our room, turns out we was listed as "no show" in the computer. After getting back into our room with newly issued keys, my wife shows me our card was charged a second time...we had paid in full the previous day. I called down and was assured that everything would be correct in the morning, it was refunded after checking out.

4. Our card has been charged and credited 3 times so far for the full 2 nights and the $50 per day "incidentals hold". We have yet to receive our $100 back from that.

They asked me to give them two to three days for it to straighten out, that was Sunday morning and now it's Wednesday and I am only getting more upset about it.

The Super 8 down the street is looking better all the time.

Unfortunately, I can t leave zero stars as a rating. I came here with my family that had come out of state to celebrate the New Year. As members of Hilton honors, we expect a certain standard when staying at our favorite hotel. We book rooms at Hilton s all over the country, for business and travel. I ve never been so displeased with a service before in my days. For starters, when we arrived at the hotel, we had half of a single roll of toilet paper. Subsequently, we called the office for some more and realized our hotel room phone was broken. We went down to the lobby to retrieve toilet paper and they also said they would send someone to fix the phone. They never did. We left the hotel around 8 to go enjoy a smidge of Atlanta night life. We arrived back at the hotel bar just before midnight after a wonderful night out to have a champagne toast at the bar, as this hotel has done before in the past. We arrive to an empty bar, just to find out there is no champagne and that the manager is going to get some. There were other customers at the bar complaining about the selection. The manager arrived at the hotel with two bottles of champagne that were bought within seconds of being at the bar. Afterwards, we retreated to our rooms and found that the hallway smelled strongly of marijuana smoke. The entire floor reeked of marijuana, also something that many customers complained about. As if that weren t enough, there was a man that was banging on the doors of our floor, screaming, and causing a scene. This was also a common complaint to which the ladies at the front desk gave us complimentary breakfast for. I can admit that the ladies at the front desk were very pleasant. At this time, I am more upset with the company itself. This is not what I expect when I stay at a Hilton anywhere in the country, this hotel is no different, regardless of the day of the year. The next morning, I checked my bank statement to see that I was charged almost double the quoted price I had agreed to paid. Even subtracting the 50 dollar deposit, the bill was 50 dollars more expensive than planned. When I made the reservation, the price I was given did not include tax even though I verbally confirmed the price on the phone and at the check in counter when I arrived to ensure that it included tax. I will never recommend anyone to stay at the Atlanta/Marrieta Hilton. My family and I will certainly be staying elsewhere for New Years next year.

Rooms are small. We were suppose to have 2 queen beds, but they were small full size beds. Poor design of bathroom. Small. Towels are stored on an open shelf in the shower. Needless to say, they were wet after one shower.

Service in the restaurant and buffet was excellent. Beautiful hotel and grounds.

Pleasant staff, nice rooms, stately building. Incomparably better than other atlanta hotels in the same price range.
I saw little evidence of the problems I read in the negative reviews. Other reviews mentioned a funk in the place. I smelled a little old wood and brass, like you'd expect a white-house-looking 160 year old place with a cannon in the foyer. Vinyl clad interstate hotel it is not.
First night was in a second floor room overlooking the roof of the carriage house; that sucked. Asked for a better room and next night got one with an odd number facing the golf course; that was awesome.

So far so good...comfortable. I came here last minute to evacuate from dorian and needed a place to stay with my pets. Beautiful hotel and location (near Atlanta metro area and located on a golf course). Staff was very helpful getting me situated to my room with my two cats. The in room dining is terrible however. I ordered the most simplistic plates: nachos and a crab cake salad. Both were disgusting. They literally used fake cheese for the nachos and the crab cakes....well I don't even know how to describe them. But overall, I am very comfortable, enjoying my stay and thankful to have a place to evacuate to.

The only negative thing I can say is that the hotel will not open their pool until.memorial day. Seeing as it's the South, I'm surprised by this. Outside of that, the service and rooms were nice.

Room was good, staff friendly and helpful. I got stuck in elevator and had to be rescued but they did what they could do. Conference for eat disappointing however and got gradually worse over 5 days. Last day box lunch was only gluten-free turkey wraps, baked chips and an apple

Attended a 2 day conference in the Lyon room. The temperature of the room was uncomfortably high. Hotel staff were notified and unable to regulate the temperature to maintain the comfort of the attendees.

The building, the golf course, and the view are remarkable. , There is garbage throughout the grounds, and in the elevators. The rooms are also very dirty. The carpets are dingy, and things appear to not been updated for quite some time. The staff are helpful and nice. The food at Hamilton's, the hotel's restaurant, is barely cafeteria quality. And the prices for room service are ridiculous.

Nice

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and I will go out of my way to stay here anytime I can.
SERVICE: True southern hospitality. From check in with Brooke to my favorite bartender Kenny Everyone here is wonderful.
ATMOSPHERE: come and spend some time on the back porch in a rocking chair overlooking the golf course and the Rollinghills. You can pretend you re in gone with the wind. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the hotel overall has a wonderful nostalgic atmosphere.

During the course of 2014, my wife and I stayed at the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center several times. Our last visit was for two nights back in September, and each stay was a pleasure. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the rooms very clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet abundant and delicious. The lobby is spotless with inviting seating areas, with many interesting paintings, historic artifacts, and thoughtful touches. The veranda overlooking the beautiful golf course is spacious, with comfortable chairs and is our favorite place to eat. As mentioned before, all staff are friendly, but we'd like to single out a few who typify this wonderful hotel: Tanya at the front desk makes check-ins not only easy, but pleasant; Jenni, the dining room manager, is one of the nicest people you could ever meet, and her dining room is always beautifully appointed; Dave Jenkins, sales office executive, does a superb job regardless the size of the party or event. He's truly a bright star in the Hilton constellation. For the reasons listed, and numerous others, my wife and I highly recommend this Hilton.

I liked the history of this place. Staff was very friendly, clean rooms. The wife and I had a night cap in the bar nice bar area. The only thing was the beds where on the small side. Overall good place to rest from a long day of travel.

This Hilton appeared nice. We decided to stay at the last minute, and when we were given a room the door was blocked open someone had been sitting on the bed, only one towel. If it wasn't as late as it was I would have had the rooms changed but it was so late and I was exhausted so I thought it'll be fine. What surprised me was in the middle of the night with only liquid in it, the toilet overflowed all over the place so there went my clean towel, as well as all the kleenex and any other absorbent material I could get my hands on. The next morning the staff at the front desk could have hardly cared less. The only thing they offered us was a complimentary breakfast of which we declined because we were not interested in it.

This hotel is an old renovated military housing building of some sort which has a golf course on the property that backs right up to the building. The landscaping and curb appeal was excellent. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. There is no free wifi but a small business center in the lobby with computers to use but the one I used either has some timer limiting use on it or needs upgrading because it restarted randomly with no warning after I used it about 10 minutes. There is a nice restaurant as well but again no free breakfast. Solid 3.5 star place for around $90 on a weeknight.

The beds were tiny so if you are a family, there is not enough room. Our 15 year old had to sleep on the floor. We were told there were no cots that could fit. The sink was broken, the toilet ran, and our room phone never worked. Breakfast was not included in the high price and there was no microwave. Our room did not get cleaned or even fresh towels one of the days either. We were there for a baseball tournament so stayed the 4 nights, but would never go back. Now I see an extra $50 charge to my account that was not on my receipt and there is no explanation. Our room did not get cleaned or even fresh towels one of the days either. If you can find another hotel, I would. Not impressed.

This place is huge like a fortress. They need a lot of make over money for sure. Its falling a part. Ceiling paint peeling, elevators not working, I understand it's there for the military base but a remodel will do it well.
