Nice hotel with some historical documents and items
Awesome....I love great quality of pillows, blankets, mattresses. Give five stars with no doubt
Great place with a pristine golf course and very attentive service staff.
We moved away and wanted to ensure that we stayed only in accommodations where we would be safe. The room was sanitized. The staff wore masks. The parking was excellent.
We had breakfast in the morning, got a late checkout and really never had to get into close quarters with anyone. Each family took the elevator by themselves and truly this was as safe as you can make it.
Well done Hilton family of hotels. This is why we are honors members.
Clean, hard to find help to figure out where I had to go. Easy parking
Nice old-school Hilton property tucked away in Marietta. Convenient to the area.
Its okay. The design and layout is different from a typical hotel. Be prepared to walk up hill if parking.
The staff told us there was no way to get my friends and i adjoining rooms. However, when we checked into our rooms 504 & 511 we saw another couple and asked if they would switch from 513 into my 504 and that would provide us an adjoining room with 511 and it would give the couple a king size bed. In order to do this the couple and I had to go back down to the front desk in order to make the switch. This was an inconvenience to both of us and we didnt understand why they didnt do this in the first place. My wife, myself and my friends asked several times over the course of the week through phone calls and at the front desk during check in about obtaining adjoining rooms and were told there was no guarantee but they would try to get us as close as possible. Also, there was no difference in the room rate and the customer service lady said "why didnt you guys just swap keys?" I would have done that, however i called from my room beforehand and was instructed to come back down. Just a real headache when it should have been easily accomplished if there was a competent person at the desk making the room assignments. The facilty and rooms were excellent, but the check in staff could use some training.
The place seemed a little old. But the conference area was clean.
There are problems in the room (ventilation - the bathroom door), the staff never smile, I do not know why, the luggage trolley is always locked. The employee should always take out the ribbon, the pictures are in a beautiful location but in reality there is no roses and no vitality in Place
Did not keep the bar open as the wedding party was promised.
Our stay was 8/3/19 and 8/4/19 . First off $350 for a hotel room with walpaper falling off the wall and smelly elevators and hotel in general should have been my sign. WORST Hilton I've ever stayed at. I was woken up at 6:50 a.m to a false fire alarm. Then at 2:45 am the following night the power went off in the MIDDLE off a super hot night in summer! I called the front desk just asking if I needed to be worried considering they were having fire alarms the previous morning just to have the hotel worker be rude and short with me and hung up on me out of the blue. Overall the workers were very friendly except for the that one. You have MUCH nicer hotels for the same price in the the surrounding area. It was extremely embarrassing that I set up my friend and I in such a place. The only redeeming qualities of this hotel are the other workers and the view of the golf course. Take your money elsewhere!
Stately, grand hotel. Everything was as it should be :easy check in, informed staff, free breakfast for gold members and up, great views. Wish we could enjoy the amenities but were there for work. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again !
Breakfast buffet was superb with lots of variety. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Pool was lovely. Will definitely stay again!
Absolutely gorgeous Hotel unfortunately the AC wasn't working on one side of the hotel
Overall I thought the hotel was nice and the staff was helpful. Looked like they had a very beautiful golf course. One problem I had was it was not very close to anything.
It has its own charm, it is not the newest, but offers everything for the basic needs :).
The gym is just very small, but not so busy.
We had the shrimp and grits for dinner. While it was tasty, $22 is a high price for a modest proposal of grits and 6 shrimp.
The facilities appear to be old but well maintained. Service is good and has been accommodating to our church events.
Really old look. No complimentary breakfast. Not a lot of towels in the room.
Got locked out of our room and our keys wouldn't work. Had to get the cleaning people to let us in every time. Not impressed with the amenities for the amount of money.
While the hotel is nice, the place is overpriced and the customer service left a lot to be desired. My cousin was getting married. She had blocked off rooms for us, her family to stay in. My sister was going to share a room with us and drive up for the wedding with us, but at the last minute, couldn't make it. So she tried to move the room to our names and because she is the most awesome of sisters, she was still going to pay for it. All they had to do was send a form. At first, they said they had to fax it, but who has a fax these days? Then they said they could email it, but they sent it to a bogus email that neither she nor I had. After several calls where they kept changing their story from there is no form to can't do this except by fax five days in advance to all sorts of things, she and I just said we will cancel. Well then they told her they'd still charge her card even if no one stayed! My sister went off on the representative (according to my husband who was on conference with them) and the representative hung up. It was only after a manager called back that they finally cancelled it and assured her that her card wouldn't be charged. And that's how we found a great hotel just an exit down through a hotwire deal that was fantastic. Oh, and only after the cancellation did they finally send that form. Just disgraceful!
Wow. Poor shape. Poor service. Can t believe this hotel. Had to leave.
It was nice and clean, but the layout was a little confusing.
Carpets looked like they had never been replaced in 50 years
Horrible customer service. I am a Hilton member and was told book online and the 3 times prior to that call I was on hold and then hung up on.
Very good service, fairly clean rooms. Beautiful place for a wedding
This was an excellent venue for a conference. Rooms were very acoustic in that you could hear the speakers very well I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a meeting place
Great Stay here! Trevor, Darryl, and Karalyn at the Pub grill are great. We came in back from a ball game with a group of 23 and they knocked it out of the park! Big thanks to them!
I enjoyed staying here. The staff Desiree and Chrissy are amazing. The entire staff was the most accommodating ever. Can t wait to come back. Thank y all for marking our evacuation a lot more fun.
Nice golf course, but the greens were pretty poorly kept
Was here for a wedding..convenient location. Nice clean rooms great bar
Lovely grounds for a wedding. In terms of staying as a guest, would have liked drinking glasses and wine key in the room and a Starbucks or other cafe in the lobby. Lobby also didn't have water 24/7.
Beautiful event venue at the gardens & Brumby House!!
Excellent atmosphere, classy place, good bar service, could've had coffee available though.
This is a beautiful property with amazing views. The Junior Suite I stayed in had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Bathroom is a little on the small side, but the size of the room made up for it. The buffet breakfast had a large variety of food and the service couldn't have been better. But what elevates this property to a 6-star rating is the staff. Ricky gave great recommendations on where to eat and how to get there, and truly took personal interest in making sure we had an awesome stay. Fran stepped in when Ricky wasn't available with no break in the outstanding customer service. Between the rooms, the location, and the staff - you cannot go wrong with this property. Awesome place and an awesome staff.
Nice hotel room with spacious accommodations. Bathroom is entirely too small and had I know I may not have booked the room. Nice breakfast with omlets made to order. Some golf scenery. Front desk is very helpful and has a list of eating places to help you chose a eating place. Marrietta Dinner was great and only 5 miles away.
Beautiful hotel. They have a great view on top of the hill. The breakfast was great as well.
The service was excellent at the front desk. Housekeeping would be inconsistent with number of towels and even number of trash cans. There was a particularl smell when you walked in the hotel, especially the elevator. It wasn't horrible, just highly noticeable. It was difficult to get in the pool and the gym didn't have floor mats and the floors were not well kept.
Very nice and clean rooms. Did not really test or try any of the amenities, but it is a very nice looking hotel with anything you would likely want. Great place to stay in the Atlanta area.
We had a horrible experience just trying to make a reservation. The rude man who answered the phone talked to my husband like he was a child, and was very condescending. We are attending a wedding there in a couple weeks. Mr Rude very curtly told us the cutoff for the wedding discount had passed. We then asked that if we reserved a room would we be able to request an early check in. This frustrated Mr Rude and he said no, they don't do that and we would have to check in at 4 line everyone else. When he quoted us a price , my husband explained that on THEIR website (not a booking website, their own website) the rate was $30 cheaper. He very sarcastically said, well then you want to book it there, then don't you?
Seriously? If this is how you treat potential guests, how do you get actual guests? Hospitality in the "Hospitality industry" must be a misnomer. Needless to say we didn't book a room.
Great! My daughter's dance studio hosted a banquet there tonight. The food was delicious and the staff was awesome!
Awful buffet lunch experience. salad, bread, and greasy cold cuts for 15.95 lunch.
A very nice surprise. I never knew it was there as I don't get to that area often.
Nice hotel with a historic touch but in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are dated but nice, parking is kinda terrible, location is not easy to find or convenient. Great access to golf course, pleasant staff, great beds and bed linens, dated bathrooms. Overall an average hotel.
Loves it. It has that gone with wind look inside and out.I wish they had boutiques and stores in there. Maybe a coffee shop.
Good service. Staff are nice and personable. Hotel is older and rooms shows age. Rooms are smaller. Perfectly fine hotel to stay in Marietta.
Incredible place to stay. Kinda of off the beaten path
We are in the dining room and had a delicious Angus Burger with GREAT service by Cleveland. He's a gem!
The meeting room was neat and clean. Hotel staff helpful in finding the room. Interior and exterior of property very pleasing to the eye.
We used a meeting room. It was a nice room and the staff were all very capable. Lunch was excellent.
Classical feel and very historic. Room service is awesome and the pub.
This hotel is beautiful! I didn't stay at the hotel but attended a conference there. The restrooms and conference hall were nice and clean
Nice hotel banquet services. Did not use a room. Was plenty if parking
Spacious rooms, great staff. Perfect place for a convention or meeting.
Great exquisite place in nice place to get away to free your mind and be at peace
Very nice accommodations and the staff was top notch
The bathrooms were bad and the towels were also dirty. The people in front will not help me much.
Nice place to stay. Requested early check in (noon) but room wasn't ready till after 3
The room was ok. The toilet was not bolted to the ground very well and the water pressure fluctuated a lot. Good view though
Very cool feel, and the scenery is great. Beds are comfy too and the service is great. Great experience
We recently hosted an event at Hilton Atlanta. The facility worked perfect for our needs, the food was great and the staff was super helpful. Highly recommend using.
My second tme going for an event. The customer service needs work.
Dirty glasses marred my breakfast, but otherwise a great stay.
Beautiful property! I stay here when I don't have to be in downtown Atlanta. Excellent breakfast at Hamilton's.
