Hilton Al Hamra Beach and Golf Resort Review

Had a dinner at the brewfest and absolutely loved it

Total super place. The meal is a buffet. Every day there was another international kitchen (Brazilian, Arabic, Indian ...). Rooms spacious, well equipped. Regular everyday cleaning, change of linen every three days, on request and drive. Reptile close to handhelds available. Two pools with service, what makes excellent cocktails with more alcohol than we used to. Outside available very hot curvy. There is also a gym that is on my taste. Anything is missing for strengthening the belly, available multipress, bracket for the free axis above the lanyard, single only up to 22kg, but the vacation is enough. Available sauna without cooling pool (only shower and not too cold). The sauna is divided into two boxes, where it is unfortunately not possible to lie down, so you will not warm up evenly and in addition the handles in the whole gym and around will smell some frying, once even a power cat. The sauna needs to be booked in advance and is free for the stay. To close, we recommend that you purchase All incusive because you will not pay for the drink at the hotel. At dinner a glass of anything costs 270CZK. Rescuing water, tea and coffee in the room daily and free of charge.

The location is great and the entire area is a resort. And in the evening you can walk to the mall. Ok the check in time was very long due to a group check in/out at the same time. They should have a special desk for groups. The room wasn t very clean. It can be better. It s a 5 star Hoel and resort. They definitely need more lifeguards in the beach. The kids club is a great idea. The weather was great.

This hotel is OK. The best way to describe it is to say its a poor 5 star hotel. The pool towels are so frayed I would have thrown them away years ago. They charge for WiFi in your room and for bottled water in the restaurants. There is zero pool side service. There is no turn down service. Whilst all these things are minor they are difference between 4 star and 5 star. I spoke to the staff about the hotel and they informed me that Hilton took over the hotel three years ago. In my opinion they should have closed it down and reopened after a complete refurbishment. However if the above doesn't bother you remember you are still paying 5 star prices for a 4 star hotel. If that still doesn't trouble you then more the fool you and this would be a great hotel for you. Oh the food is OK ie not 5 star.

The complex is great, the beach is great, but, contrary to expectations, it was very crowded with families with many very small children, which means that both pools were overcrowded and the volume at both pools was sometimes unbearable. Since the hotel is very badly soundproofed, the nights were sometimes very short, as the sound from the lounge with live music or guests who were on the beach at night was very annoying. We cannot describe the hotel as a place of tranquility. Even in the spa and fitness area there were always children out and about. For us, the description doesn't quite match reality. The staff is great

friendly, but had to draw the attention of more guests to behavior ... Or clothes in the restaurant or similar. The restaurant leaves nothing to be desired.

I just called for information, asking if the hotel was dog friendly.The person on the phone was rude, and of course the hotel is not dog friendly.

Good Hotel with Beach and Pools. Very friendly Staff. Large Rooms. Nothing to complain about.

Beach hotel with a well-tended garden, nice room - at least if you live directly on the beach in a villa and at ground level - and 2 pools. Otherwise not a 4 star hotel, also in the price / performance ratio: the buffet is good, but little variety, the dining room is more of a hall and very loud, all inclusive only valid for a very limited menu, the pool bar should open at 10 a.m. - mostly from noon occupied, main bar closes all inclusive at 11 p.m., no hair dryer in the room, no possibility to get a parasol on the unshaded terrace ("is not common with us"). We will definitely not be back!

Awesome location and good staff.. Beautiful hotel and has a beach and lots of facilities to enjoy the sea. Lots of restaurant around. Walking distance from Al Hamra Mall.

One of the favorite hotels in Ras Al Khaimah. Especially good villas with access to the sea.

Great hotel, service, cleanliness of food. recommend

We recently stayed for 11 nights in this lovely hotel. We arrived at about 2am and the staff were fully attentive , happy and very helpful. Although this hotel is lovely in itself with a great beach and spacious well appointed rooms ( ours was right on the beach ) what really makes it is the staff. From the front desk to the room attendant. From Bar to beach they were truly brilliant. After meeting them they are like old friends. The restaurant staff heard my partner coughing and came out with ginger and lemon tea one morning and then offered it without being asked for the rest of our time there. The room attendant made towel sculptures in our room, we had 4-5 bottles of water left gratis every day. The gardners all said hello. You really couldn't have asked to be treated any better. You could criticise the tiny bit of wear and tear here and there but you would be missing the point completely. Five stars from me and worth every bit of it

Very nice hotel with it is beach area. It has an array of bungalows as well as the main corpse hotel rooms.

Great friendly Hilton away from the crowds in Dubai. Beach is nice.
Stayed in a beachfront Villa which is highly recommended. Room a bit outdated, but you are most of the time outside (in winter),
Food was good. Not exquisite but tasteful and lots of choices.

I visited here in early June 2018 with my family. Planned to stay just for the rest, and not other shopping and sightseeing, because it was not the first visit to the UAE and it s quite difficult to walk with the child in the heat. The hotel itself has left a positive impression, the staff is responsive and does its job well. I took the voucher with two meals a day and the first thing that spoiled the mood a bit was the fact that drinks were paid separately during the meal, it would be okay for alcohol, but even water. Probably, this is not very noticeable for the more affluent segments of the population, but I did not count on it, but I had to pay. The second moment that I was a little embarrassed was the foxes in the evening in the garden, for some reason the staff did not warn about this, these are certainly not the foxes we represent, but such small, slightly larger cats and with very large ears, but practically every evening I ran into them in the garden, which greatly frightened the child, and I myself was frightened, suddenly they were mad. Two times a lizard crawled into the room, it is as harmless as a fox, but it still strained. Otherwise, all the rules, to the beach you need to go on average 50-70m, but this is not terrible, sand mixed with fragments of shells sometimes causes inconvenience. But the pool is great, clean and convenient for both children and adults. Lounge chairs enough for everyone. Breakfasts and dinners / dinners are normal, but after 4-5 days they start to bother. By the way, a giant plus is the proximity of Al Hamr Mall (15 minutes on foot) or 7 dirhams by taxi, and there is a supermarket and a pharmacy and food court with fast food.

The price does not meet expectations. No slippers, no bathrobes. In the bathroom there is no soap, and other necessary accessories except shower gel and shampoo. It is better not to touch the door to the balcony, I almost tore off a nail trying to close it. Breakfast I liked. Yummy. 2 pools and a lot of people. The beach is still closed. Happy birthday cake. Nicely.

Villa style hotel. There is no sand on the beach. Pool is normal. I stayed in the family room, but the kids loved it. From the reception to the hostel you can go buggy. Breakfast is also satisfactory.

In this hotel there are two choices of two places to stay ie hotel rooms and bungalows for families.
Then the prepared theme is also different, there is a classic and modern ...
Room size is very large and comfortable, especially for the direction of the sea view there is a balcony to enjoy the atmosphere of the bay.
For a modern and classic separate place.
Unfortunately when we booked 4 rooms got a place in both areas so far apart and difficult to assemble.
The arrangement of the hotel is quite classy and the store is very comfortable comparable with the price offered. The facilities are quite complete, there is a swimming pool in two different locations. We can enjoy the beach directly and rest in the shelter while enjoying the scenery. The food menu in the restaurant is quite varied and there is a bar for drinks lovers. The waiters are very friendly and helpful.

Barely adequate hotel restaurant too small for such infrastructure and meal unworthy of a five star.

Amazing place with Sea,Desert and Hill available at RAS AL KHAIMAH

Rooms are old but very nice, however consumables are not enough unless you request.

Good place to visit. Beach could have been better. Lots of stones inside which makes it really uncomfortable. Other than that the staff is really helpful and kind and service and room are all good

Very nice hotel with a great facility. Everything was very spacious, especially the large beach section. Everything was very clean, nice roomkeeper. Many thanks to Youssef. Only the employees in the restaurants and bars make a point deduction! All inclusive guests are not treated as well here. That's too bad.

Very courteous staff. I want to thank CHILDA from the restaurant, make sure we feel good at breakfast. The furniture is very worn out and with many stains, creating the feeling of a motel, not a 5-star hotel.

During this 2 months UAE trip, we have been to Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Wardolf Astoria Rak, spent majority of our time at Hilton Al Hambra beach & golf resort, I must say the service & staff at Hilton were the best. They were professional and helpful, can perform well under pressure even during busy times.

The staffs at Al Shamal buffet restaurant were outstanding, you could tell they truly enjoy working there, that says a lot about the management, they did a great job! Prabhat, Childa, Varun, Novi and one other host lady at the entrance stood out at their work. They are genuine and friendly. Prabhat made a great impression, as he really paid attention to customers needs, a hard working individual with an upbeat attitude. The front desk staffs and personnels at the guest service hotline were also commendable. (Sorry we don't remember all of your names) Jon at the guest service hotline was very helpful, went beyond his duty to provide us detailed information on how to get to the destination where we needed to go. The assigned housekeeper for our room was very nice as well.

However, I wish we could say the same about the Scirocco Pub located inside the resort. After making multiple visits to the pub, we found the experiences there quite disappointing. The service was extremely slow, on a busy day or on an empty day, to the point we were amazed on how long we had to wait for a simple drink or dish. The waiters there seemed lost and uncaring. One time, not only they messed up our food order twice and made my parents waited more than 45mins for a simple plate of fruits & dessert without any apology, a waitor named Piraya (not sure if spelled correctly ) at the bar kept on a mean attitude while ignoring our requests. Later on that night, for quite a long time, the whole bar was left unattended, we couldn't even find a single waitor or bartender to pay the bill at one point. While Piraya finally showed up at the bar, he rudely told me and the other lady waiting at the bar to sit down. Considering it was a busy night, we chose to be understanding, thinking that they were probably stressed, so my parents and I just kept on waiting and didn't say much. Yet, yesterday afternoon my husband and I went inside the bar again ordered a hamburger and calamari. There were less than 3 customers inside. The similar attitude this person presented towards us definitely made a horrible impression again. He barely bothered to look up while we were talking to him and after a long wait for a simple burger, I expressed we need utensils, he looked away and said " it's in the bag. You look. " I had to take out everything in the takeout bag to show him there were none, then asked again for the forks, he looked bothered then answered ok but keep on standing there doing nothing, ignoring our request. My husband and I looked at each other, again, amazed on how rude this person is. We stood there, waited even longer for him to finally pointed at a lady asked her to bring us forks. This is all happening while there were no other customers at the bar they needed to attend to. We were almost speechless on how rude and ignorant he acted. On both occasions, not just once. We left feeling rather disrespected.

Been to so many Hilton resorts, this reoccurring treatment from the staff there at the bar definitely placed us in a not so great mood during each visit. We had always enjoyed our stays at the Hiltons, to have to encounter such a representative repeatedly at this establishment is very unpleasant. We will avoid this pub in the future.

Lastly, thanks again to all the courteous & professional staff at Al Hambra Resort, it was a beautiful memory nonetheless. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and wonderful!

Excellent resort for family stay. We stayed there on 25 and 26 Jan for my daughter's birthday. We had just casually informed the reception abt her birthday. But the reception surprised us by providing a surprise cake and some fruits in the room. Wow
Also excellent customer service provided by Hari Govind from Pool bar. We would rate this service 9/9. He is asset to the hospitality industry, hardly see such enthusiastic employees around these days..
Overall a very good resort stay. The food department needs to.improve. Hopefully that will be better next time we visit.

The rooms are big n cozy with amazing bathroom. Just outside we had our own small yard. Swimming pool and jacuzzi are amazing. Loved each part.

The place depends on the transport on golf cars I do not recommend staying in it after summer.

Very dissapointing place. The villas (funiture, tiles) are outdated, in the shower cabin tiles are partialy covered by mould. Pillows do stink even a clean linen puts on.

Dinner buffet is so-so. Staff - some are careless, some are polite and helpful.

Beach is clean, but to get a towel is a problem.

I would recommend to add another AED 150 and book a room in a good hotel. So you won't regret about your choice.

The very well-maintained spacious complex with luxurious guesthouses or villas becomes a wellness oasis, even at high temperatures, due to the unique park landscape. The many native and colorful birds lend a tropical flair to untypically UAE.

The staff are invariably professional and extremely friendly and helpful - every request was fulfilled at every point completely uncomplicated.
I could now name from all areas about 15 names that have made our stay by their use every day so pleasant - it would be unfair to the countless hands whose name I do not know and who are just as friendly, professional and helpful - whether at the front desk, in service, in the kitchen, in restaurants, at the pool, at the beach, in housekeeping or anywhere else.
The hotel lives through these people.
Negative: the all inclusive food impresses with a Mediterranean style: it could also be a 3 star mass hotel in Spain or Mallorca; unimaginative, without highlights, quite cheap and boring. Fish is clearly not her strength. The so-called topics would not be noticed if the loyal service team did not draw attention. The potential of an unforgettable holiday in the Arab world threatens to slip into mass tourism a la Spain.
Due to the rural location of RAK, it would be desirable if the possible activities were promoted something - here is just as in the evening program still a lot of room for improvement.
Please strictly enforce your rule that sunbeds are not reserved and simply remove the countless towels of underexposed guests who selfishly block you without being present.
Conclusion: nice to have been here, nice to go back home and next time but rather back to Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi .... because of the kitchen.
