Terrible experience unit was not even detailed. Dirty inside damage to the unit.
You think some TLC would have been put into used unit before they had a salesperson show it.

We were looking for a part for our trailer that was very difficult to find. Darin from the parts department took the time to research and find the part for us. He was very easy to deal with and was very dedicated to finding the part when many dealerships told us they were unable to find it. I recommend High River Autoplex as Well as Darin for your trailer needs.

The purchase of our new holiday trailer was very well handled. Our sales representative Jared Vollet was quick to respond to our questions and to arrange a meeting to finalize the sale as our residence is a number of hours away from High River. At this meeting Rob Wiechert from Finance provided a thorough review of the options and possible areas of concern that should and did go into our final decision to purchase. We were also interested in understanding more completely the possible incorporation of a Solar system to augment battery capability and Zoli Farkas from the parts department provide a comprehensive picture of this system and what it would mean to our utility for the trailer. Ultimately we chose to add this to the package so the team incorporated the installation into the pre delivery process. When it came time to pick up the trailer Jared made sure he was available to take us through the unit step by step and assisted in the final details that put us on our way. In departing he was sure to tell us to reach out to him any time we need support going forward and we will and have confidence he and the dealership will be there for us as we enjoy our new Hybrid trailer for many years to come.

We bought our first tent trailer from the autoplex a couple of weeks ago. Marc from sales was very helpful throughout the process. He was quick to respond to emails and texts and answered all our questions. Daniel from finance helped us through the paperwork and was great with our 6m.o. daughter who we brought along with us. When we picked up the trailer a week later Marc and the manager spent plenty of time explaining where everything was located and how it works. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone and I plan to buy from them again in the future. Thanks!

My wife and I flew into Calgary from Michigan (USA) to pickup a new 2018 Roadtrek 210 Popular, as we could not find one in the states and the price was desirable. Bruce our salesman picked us up at the hotel and was a wonderful host. I think we met the entire team at High River Autoplex & RV. All the team members were very helpful. They also carted us around town to help us feed our hunger and obtain the needed paperwork to get back into the states. Would highly recommend High River Autoplex & RV.

Went into look for a used fifth wheel trailer and left with purchasing a brand new trailer. We started out browsing the lot and found a couple we wanted to know the prices on so went in to find a salesperson and Nicki stopped us to ask if we needed help. We bought our first RV from High River Autoplex in February 2014. It is now May and we still have not been able to use it. We have returned it 3 times to fix existing problems. Each time we have had to chase the service department for information. Calls are rarely returned and when the service person is reached he does not have all the information or is unaware of what the issues are. After becoming very frustrated we were assured one person would be responsible for the repairs and contact. This person did not live up to his word and we were again left frustrated with no idea what was happening to our RV. We are very dissatisfied with the service and would not buy from High River Autoplex again.

We bought our first second hand trailer from High River Autoplex. We wanted to purchase second hand and try it out for a year to learn what we would like or dislike about certain trailers. The salesman pushed and and for us to buy new but we were not comfortable with making that large of an investment right away. When we told he salesman about our decision to buy used, I was very obvious he was mad and our level of service went from pour to worse! I pointed out some things that's needed to be fixed and he assured us that they would address them in the shop on our pre purchase inspection. When we arrived to pick up our trailer I noticed hat some of these issues had not been fixed and he told us that because we bought used and it would cost them too much to fix.
A year later, we new exactly what we wanted and went to the Nanton Autoplex because I told my family I would never step foot in the high river store again. We purchased a new unit and I was assured the unit would be ready on a Givin date and time. I called the sales manager the afternoon that I was promised the trailer and he informed me that it would not be ready as promised. When I arrived to pick up the unit, having booked a camping spot for that evening I had to wait for 3 hours while they played around with the hitch and other items. I was assured that the trailer had been through the shop and was ready to go.
They transfered my battery witch I later discovered was cracked and did not notice. All the sink drains leaked and the entrance door was binding because the installer put it on crooked. Serveral other small things were broken such as blinds and minor trim pieces. I understand that being a new unit warranty will cover these things but really... why can't these things get noticed when doing an inspection??
So.. I did not make it to the camp sight that I had booked that night because it was after 11:00 so I lost 50$ there, we had to spend the night at the gas station with no power due to a bad battery which I had purchased from them one year prior. I had to pull over several times and check the hitch that was not properly installed. I was told to take it easy. When I arrived at the sight and hooked everything up I discovered water leaking from the toilet and both sinks.
I really do not want to deal with this company again, but now I feel trapped because of warranty issues.
Jon the sales manager in Nanton was very good but I don't know what to do now with these issues.

Garry understood what i was after right away and was able to show me a variety of units that fit the bill. He didn't try to change my mind and up sell me into something that we didn't want. Much appreciated. He then introduced me to Rob at Finance which only enhanced the purchase experience. Both gentlemen were professional and humorous at the same time. Made buying here great. Will be back if i need another unit in the future. Thanks guys.

Great place and people! Love the annual RV show. This year we actually found our old RV there...was just traded in yesterday. Looks a little worn, but neat to see that many of our mods were still in place!

Both Niki our sales person and Rob the finance person were most helpful in dealing with us. We got the trailer we wanted, a Rockwood Mini Lite 2509S during the 2018 Halloween Howler sale (best price in Alberta so far). Niki and Rob were professional and personable. Nothing beats small town Alberta!

Half an hour into our road trip south and we realized our 7way came disconnected from our truck and was shredded. We were just outside high river. I ve heard good things about the HR auto and rv and we pulled in there. They had a new one in stock and Jared got us in straight away to get it fixed up. It s definitely out of our way normally, but we ll be back for any service needs. Worth the trip! We ve been screwed around by other dealers in Calgary too many times. Thanks again Jared and team!

We are happy that we made the trip to High River after our disappointing experience with Fraserway RV and Thor. We purchased a used 2004 class-A motorhome from High River Autoplex and are very happy with the purchase. As with any used RV, there were some issues, but High River was there for us and took care of everything.

After our experiences buying RVs, new and used, we've learned that a lot of research is a must before making a purchase - that includes not only researching the manufacturer, but also the dealership. Thankfully we have High River Autoplex, which makes the dealership bit much easier, we would most certainly purchase from High River Autoplex again.

We have been full-time in our RV for more than 11 months, been to more than 21 US states, and love every bit of it.

We started dealing with high river autoplex over the phone on our 2016 mini lite travel trailer as we live in okanagan falls british columbia. Yes we tried to shop in kelowna but high river autoplex was a way better deal for the 9 hour drive. So we are dealing on a trailer we have only seen online. Jared did a great job assuring us that the unit is exactly what we expected in the deal. He also went above to help install my hitch and trouble shooting any time i have called him. Rob who works in the finance depatment is the guy who sealed the deal for our purchase. He assisted us in ever call and text and fax needed to make a smooth purchase and still asks how things are going . Thxs rob.. the only thing that they missed was to have a intransit permit. Make sure you have that first if your from out of province. I will finish by saying they care about their customers far away from signing the deal. We love our mini-lite and if we upgrade years from now we will be back to their dealership and i hope rob is still there to deal with.

My fiance and I just recently purchased our first toy hauler fifth wheel and we have nothing but amazing things to say about High River Autoplex and RV. As a young couple you often get judged looking at something so big for our first trailer but we didn't get that impression working with Gary MacDonald. He was very patient, knowledgeable, wasn't pushy at all, and just all around an easy person to work with. Then we got transferred over to the financing department and that is where we met Rob Wiechert. He was also fantastic to work with, getting us the best rates and making sure everything for financing would go through for us. He made signing bunches of paper work fun. He's a very personable person and wasn't just all about business. It was well worth our hour and a half drive to work with the team at High River Autoplex and RV. Would definitely recommend stopping buy if your looking for the perfect trailer.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!
Update Oct 2020, went all summer without a furnace. A/C stopped in July, our trailer is under a 5 year warranty we paid extra for. Called in July, they said to book when our trip was done. Called back to get the A/C & furnace fixed, went to pick it up October 6th, they did something on the hot water tank & charged us for it? It worked fine all summer we went on 3-9 day trips, there was never problem with that. Fixed the awning, pulling out on one side with wires exposed, (which was fine), the slide (my husband just warned them to be careful with it because it snags & he said not to fix it if it wasn t under warranty), & they winterized it - didn t fix the heat, or A/C (it blows a breaker after running it a while) & passed him a $500 bill!! We have an extended warrantee (for 5 years since purchased). The original heating and cooling problems were not even fixed!?
Terrible communication skills between workers & maintenance. This is one of the WORST companies we ve ever dealt with...... avoid at all costs if you don t want headaches in the future.

My husband and I bought a new trailer at the RV expo in January 2018. We expected to have the colour trailer we requested and as described on or before May, they couldn t deliver it in time so we settled for a different colour but they compensated by offering us a 2019 model, which is great and the lower rating review is not at the sales department but the maintenance department.
We spent a lot of money on a brand new Winabego mini drop with extended warranty. We ve used it less than 5-6 times since purchase. We understand that things get missed on the assembly line and expected a few issues. 2 blinds didn t work and my husband fixed one of them, but the other one was missing a spring and so when I had to open the window, the blinds got bent because they wouldn t pull up. We took it in because the DVD player stopped working and their comment about the blinds working fine was incorrect. I tried the blinds several times as well as my husband and we understand how blinds pull up and down. They just told him that they always worked and we were mistaken. I believe they said this so they actually wouldn t have to replace the whole thing since parts of the blinds got bent during opening and closing the windows since I couldn t pull them up.
We are still without a DVD player as they had to check our warrantee? We paid $3,000 extra for an extended warrantee.
All this aside the review is also based on my parents experience.
We referred them there and my father needed a full size toilet installed because he was recovering from cancer. He had to take his trailer back 3X because it leaked out the bottom (heavy leaking I mean soaking up a towel). He asked the 2nd time if it was tested and they said yes when obviously it wasn t. After 3X, He finally took it elsewhere to be fixed properly.

We have only owned our new trailer since the Friday of the May long weekend and already I m very dissatisfied with the service department.
I hope that they look into the service they are providing after the sale is closed and I can get some answers as I don t like having to give a so-so review on a company we just bought a new trailer from.

We purchased a new fifth wheel from High River and Cedar Creek. There was numerous issues with the unit that the manufacturer agreed to repair at the time of purchase. These repairs were never completed. After many calls, emails and visits to High River, our salesman, the general manager and the owners of High River Autoplex were able to resolve the issues to our satisfaction.

It did take some time and a lot of patience but the team at High River succeeded in making our nightmare into a positive and happy experience.

Thanks to our salesman Greg Morrison, the general manager Paul Alexander and owners Doug and Jerry, without your help we would still be fighting with Forest River/Cedar Creek instead of enjoying our RV experience.

All to often people focus on the negative and only complain. The team at High River went the extra mile and deserve to praised for all their hard work

I have always said that the meat and potatoes of a company is how they service their sales after the fact. I have been in the the retail sales of non-essential luxury products for 35 years, so I feel I can speak with some authority. These guys have a great sales staff who are pleasant and knowledgeable and work hard to facilitate your sale. You are then handed over to the very worst service department I have ever experienced. They are deceptive, antagonistic and offer sub par quality in what they do manage to get done. I personally don't think they even like their customers. Whether you spend $25,000 or $250,000, as we did, I would expect that the service department would be working their tails off to keep you as a future customer rather than chasing you off to the competition, which is why I am so glad my couch is off warranty because that's exactly where I, and my future buying friends are going. I think ownership or senior management should be doing a little homework!!

I don't usually write reviews but felt we should share our experience dealing with High River Autoplex. We were looking for an pop-up hard sideded a-frame camper and they had one new 2018 Rockwood A122 left so we purchased it in May 2020 without seeing it because of the pandemic. We did manage to have friends in Alberta pick it up and meet us in Alsask SK. Once we got it home to Saskatoon there were a few minor warranty issues that we repaired ourselves and the parts we did need they sent to us with no questions. Because it was a 2018 that sat at the dealer until 2020 we noticed a problem with the tires that were cracked due to being weathered from sitting. We contacted our sales person Nicki and sent her photos. She received the ok from the manufacturer to replace them. We went ahead and ordered the tires and had them installed. High River Autoplex sent us a check for the warranty and we are very satisfied with the whole experience We can't say enough about the way we were treated by Nicki Dahl our sales representative and the staff at High River Autoplex. I highly recommend anyone looking for an RV to call Nicki. Great sales and service department.

The service department, in particular has gone out of their way to help us out of various jams, many of our own making. They have saved the day more than once. Double thumbs up.

We purchased our 2011 motorhome from High River Autoplex (Jeff Friessen) at the end of June 2020, with great anticipation of a summer filled with a wonderful new experience for us as first time motorhome owners. NOT!! From the moment the cheque hit their hands it was "well I have 15 minutes to acquaint you with all the inner workings of your motorhome and how to deal with any issues that might arise as I have other customers waiting for me". (We were told they would spend as much time with us as we needed). We definitely felt rushed and pressured to move on. Once we got the motorhome back to our home town we thought we should spend some time familiarizing ourselves with the inner workings of it. The first thing we found was no oil when we checked the dip stick. We found this strange because Jeff had assured us that if there hadn't been a recent oil change they would do one before pick up. We took it upon ourselves to have the oil change done as we thought this was something that was minor, but once the motorhome was at the mechanics they found numerous other issues which, if a proper vehicle inspection had been done, should have shown up and been rectified prior to us picking up the motorhome. Some of the issues were safety related. We contacted Jeff and he said he would get back to us after he talked to his manager/boss. We are still waiting. We have asked for a copy of the safety inspection (which we are entitled too) and we are still waiting for that as well. More to come and also we found out we could not post our review unless we gave at least 1 star. So that is why they have received 1 star from us. Leo and Barb

Of all the sales people we have dealt with over the years and we are in our 70s we have never found more pleasant and efficient than Gary as a person to show you what is available and to get you the best deal possible. Robert makes it such a pleasure to give your money away. The Reception staff are such a pleasure to deal with.

We purchased our used motor home from HRRV over 3 years ago. Since then we have attended customer appreciation days, purchased the usual parts for the unit and had some repair work done on our unit.
In having various repairs done over the last three years we have seen the service level improve significantly. The service level we experienced in the first few years was not acceptable, having to return several times for repeat repairs.
However in the last year, in fact in the last 6 months, we have enjoyed an improved service level with new staff like Alyssa, the service advisor. When we purchased the unit we had a recurring leak problem with a slide. There was no resolution to this problem originally and we had to return for additional repairs. In the last 6 months the service technicians spent much time to locate the source of the leak and repaired it. We have also dealt primarily with Alyssa and have found her quite helpful and eager to please.
When we purchased the unit we also purchased an extended warranty. We strongly recommend this if you purchase a used unit. Alyssa has taken the lead to resolve the warranty claims to our satisfaction.

Just wanted to say we are very happy with our new purchase! Very happy to have gotten great service from Gary, who was very knowledgeable and took his time going through everything with us! He went above and beyond any customer service experience we were expecting.

Secondly, hats off to Robert in finance! What a terrific personality and answered all of our questions and was super patient with us.

We love our new Cedar Creek Trailer,CKTS. What a beauty. Thanks Leroy! I picked it up Friday afternoon, and found a few minor glitches as closing time was fast approaching. I want to thank Cori, from service for getting things right, and staying over 2.5 hours on a Friday night. Jay from service stayed as well. Super job and great work, for a time when they should be at home. John in parts, congrats on being a Grandpa. His grandson was born early that morning. He is very proud, I am aslo thankul for his help after closing. Daniel in financing did and excellent job and very efficient.



I must commend Zoli for his patience on my many questions on the inverter, solar panel, and battery system. Hes the go to guy and very knowlegable, thier lucky to have a guy like that, a man of his caliber. I learned alot from him.

This spring, after shopping for more than a year, my wife and I purchased a 2019 diesel pusher motorhome from High River Autoplex & RV. Our salesman was Gary MacDonald whom I first met online. We were in Arizona at the time and had been shopping for a motorhome there, but, decided to purchase at home in Canada. It s odd, but we ran into two sales people at other dealers who couldn t seem to be bothered to deal with us, and one dealership that simply wouldn t deal , so, they didn t get our business. Gary on the other hand has been excellent to work with. He is courteous, considerate, quickly obtains information and is quick to return calls. I highly recommend him as your sales consultant. He even took time out of his day to help us move our stuff from the trade-in to the new unit! The experience to date at the dealership has also been top notch. We identified several minor issues all of which have been attended to quickly.

Part one of two. My wife and I are making the leap into full time RV living. We have purchased a brand new fifth here, and there were a few minor hiccups along the way. When we made the call to Rob he made impressive strides to resolve the issues. Rob is definitely 5 stars for ensuring customer satisfaction. We are going to pick up the unit later this month, when we will post part two. Hopefully the pick up of the unit goes smoothly and we can make it a 5 star review.

We would like to thank "the whole team" at High River Autoplex for everything they have done for us. Everyone from reception, to Alyssa in service, to Rob in finance, has assisted our sales rep Greg, in providing us excellent service and peace of mind. (And we know there is a whole crew of people behind them too)
We've had a few hiccups since picking up our new Horizon in Sept. Thankfully all we have to do is call, and we get the help and advice we need, and we get it quickly.
We are looking forward to an ongoing relationship with Greg. He even answers our calls /texts when he's off shift. Thank you Greg!

I don t even know where to begin... worse place ever.!!!

These morons tried to make it right. Claim the skylight has been removed and resealed. Amazing how they use the exact same sealer and the exact same equipment to seal. No evidence the skylight was ever removed! As for the battery - They rewired my stereo to completely power off when the unit is closed, but did not actually test for a draw on the battery. One week after getting home the battery is dead again without being open or used. I spent 10 minutes to track which circuit is drawing the power and if I ever calm down, I will demand a wiring diagram so I can repair myself, prpoerly. Do not have anything serviced here if you want it done correctly! Completely incompetant service department! We had water pour in from the rear roof on our "A" frame trailer when we opened for the first time this year. This unit is less than 1 year old! The genius's at High River sealed up the bottom of the Skylight. Now the water can get in but not out! Do you think I will get warranty on a rotten roof in a few years? We also asked for the battery system to be checked as the battery goes dead every 10 days to 2 weeks. We also noticed the stereo keeps coming on by itself. They told me I was not shutting off the radio correctly after I had completed the task (correctly) in front of Trena, the service advisor. Then they charged me $95 to troubleshoot my stereo. The battery still goes dead and every time you charge the battery the stereo comes back on by itself. DO NOT LET THESE IDIOTS DO ANY SERVICE, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!

Our new "Cottage" is on site @ Madera Ranch on Lake Koocanusa and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience with High River RV. Our Journey started at the RV Show in January where we saw and got hooked on the Cedar Creek Cottage. Having met Gary we contacted him for a discussion and viewing which over the course of the next 4 months saw us negotiate purchase and take delivery of this awesome unit. From factory order to inspection, touch-ups and delivery to site, all of our expectations were exceeded. There was no pressure, no surprises and no delays. Just bought a new trailer here and had an excellent experience. Greg Morrison was very helpful in helping us find the right rv for us and spent a lot of time with us. The finance advisor Robert Wiechert also spent considerable time with us to complete all the paperwork and to ensure we understood all our financing options. Would definitely go back in the future.

Awesome service and outstanding management. John went above and beyond to show us how to set up trailer and use it. He didn t just hand us the manual and say good luck. This type of service is noticed and will be keeping our business for many years to come. We have recommended this place to anyone looking for a trailer! Thank you! Also we brought our 3 young kids with us while searching and that was not phased as it would have most sales people! John was patient and caring to our whole family and will be remembered for that! He asked about our budget and what we wanted the most in a trailer. Being brand new trailer people, we new very little. He explained lots and helped us. Impressive!

We bought our fifth wheel summer of 2012. since then, they have had our unit for more months than we have. Service work gets missed, wrong parts get ordered, and when the work finally is supposed to be all done, we have to bring it back for it to be redone.
Even the General Manager doesn't seem to care because he doesn't return our calls either.

Robert Wiechert in the financial office is a very nice man and quite pleasant to work with. He explained everything we needed to know and went over our options with us. He seemed very sincere in finding out what was best for us.

Very quick and fair with negotiations. Nikki and Rob were both great to deal with from first call to last hand shake. Beautiful dealership!! All around a great experience!!

Just bought a brand new Forest River XLR Boost from them! They were amazing in first finding exactly what we needed and what fit our lifestyle and then getting everything ready following that! Very accommodating! Great customer service from Nikki and Rob! Definitely will always be going back to them!

Went in to look at a new travel trailer. Met up with Jared and let him know which trailer we wanted to look at and if there were any others that would fill our specs. He took us around and we picked the one we had picked from the internet. Worked with Robert to get financing, had a few glitches but worked with us until everything worked out. These people are great to deal with and hope for many more visits.

We recently purchased a 2016 Rockwood 5th wheel trailer from Jared Vollet at High River Autoplex. He listened to what we wanted and found us EXACTLY what we were looking for on his first attempt. Because we didnt want to make a hasty decision we asked him to show us a couple more for comparison, and he did without hesitation or frustration. He knew the numbers (weights, price, size, etc. ) off the top of his head and seemed to know all the units very well. Very well trained sales man. When it came to signing the papers he was very informative of what was included and what wasnt, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He then brought us to the financial advisor Robert. This guy was AMAZING. He knew his stuff, gave his opinions on value for options and was the most upbeat finance department person I have ever dealt with. Afterwards, I was introduced to Paul, the sales manager who agreed to all of my "outlandish" requests and made the deal happen. I have yet to take possession of my new summer home, but if the service is anywhere near how the sales staff has been, I will have no regrets!

I can also give a A+ to parts. There prices are fair, and I recently had an issue with a generator I purchased, and they took it back and gave my money back no problem at all.

Cant say enough good about them right now.

We went to look at used trailers and met Nicki. She was extremely polite friendly and easy going to deal with. She listened to our requirements and our price range. After showing us a number of trailers she mentioned they had several brand new 2018 model trailers left if we wanted to see them. Nicki worked with us to arrange a good trade in price for our trailer and a good price on a brand new trailer. We have owned a number of trailers but never thought we could purchase a new trailer with almost everything we wanted in a trailer. Since buying the trailer I have sent Nicki a number of emails asking her a number of questions. Nicki has responded to everyone in a timely manner. We are looking forward to picking up our trailer in May and a long summer of camping with everything brand new. Thanks Nicki.

Simply a gigantic inventory, and excellent service and sales staff. Walked into the Autoplex and seen 6 used and a plethora of new. Unavailable at all 10 dealers we visited pervious. We then sat down with Niki hashed out some very reasonable offers, both on our trade in and on our new used trailer had some good laughs, and really great experience. Next busted a gut with Rob, getting all the paperwork together, couldn t stay composed enough to make the same signature twice. Great people, great inventory, great experience.
