Great local Amala dish! Nice soup varieties, clean environment and most of all consistency in food taste and quality. Not open on sundays...

After all the rave, personally found it just ok. Surprising pulls a lot of crowd though. Hummmmh!!

A must visit for Naija foods if you're on a visit to Abuja. The food is very nice and quite cheap. A nice buka styled atmosphere. The queues can be quite overwhelming though particularly for a first timer. But an altogether pleasant culinary experience

Well organised, always busy especially during peak hours. Food is on point.

Very nice place to eat Yoruba food, crowded in the afternoon with a very large dining hall that is big enough for an Event Centre in Lagos.

They clean the tables often, lots of wash hand basins with running water, airy, buka feel, and the amala was perfect! The only issue was the eran orisi was too tough to chew (cook it for longer please!), but the food was tasty!

The food here is really good, Amala and gbegiri is the best but the staff can really test your patience(I try not to engage them,I just buy my food and go). There is ample parking,the place looks like a school cafeteria, they never have cold drinks, they have no POS and the queues can be maddening but the food makes it worth it.

They sell delicious meal and good customer service.

Very long queue. U have to be extremely patient. It looks like a boarding school dining. However, the food is delicious and cheap. You pay using cash only, as they don't accept transfers or card payment. I advise them to open more outlets and employ more staffs.

Food is nice with various options and prices are moderate. But, U can never walk in and buy food without queuing for minimum of 10 minutes

Here s where you can get the best Amala in Abuja. The Gbegiri made with the same feel as what is obtainable in the West. Their meals are ready as early as 7:00am daily- freshly made and sizzling hot!

Sumptuous amala meal! Quite on point. Adequate parking at the time of visit. I think more could be done about the ambience though.

The prices are amazingly cheap, perhaps the cheapest meals you can find in Abuja, which means you don't pay for service. Avoid lunch hour or else you will be standing on the queue for almost 30 mins before you get served.
You pick a bowl in front and wipe then place your food orders.
Be firm and decisive though, thier staff lack any customer training and don't speak much English.

It's my first time visiting but I was shocked when I ordered for white rice and they told me a spoon is #200.

Great food. But the waiting time is long and I am not a fan of the self help service.

The long queues while waiting to get your meal can be sometimes frustrating, but in the end the hot amala and soup delicacy is worth the wait

Great place for local meals but I hate the fact that you have to join a queue and pick your plate yourself for you to get served and you are paying.

Food is averagely decent, nothing spectacular other than the assortment of meats & offals. The queues are a constant turn-off and the servers act like you re wasting their time & they re doing you a favor by serving you food you re going to pay for.

Experience Ibadan in Abuja! I m giving a 5-star not for the place, but for the product and the price. Queues can be really long but the wait is worthwhile. The original grandma taste of amala beans soup and assorted meats.

The sight of the procedure of getting food was startling n amusing. You have to follow a long flowing cue n the number of patronage was surprising. Na correct traditional zanga, just bear with the staff n processes! Chop n go

Iya Oyo Amala is a beautiful place that serves beans better than any place I've eaten. But I wonder, do they open during Ramadan?

Nice place for local dishes such as Amala, pounded yam, rice and beans etc. you get to point your protein. But it is purely a cash Economy as there is no POS there. If you are going through uber it might also take you to the estate near the place, I am not sure why it is like that.
