Henry Medical Center Review

I had a great experience having my first surgery ever at this hospital. The atmosphere was a little layed back which is just what I needed. My daughter spent the night and was very comfortable. It was just my time and my place. The nurses were funny and friendly and of course my ortho surgeon Dr. Orcutt had a very hard job with my terrible hip but did a great job. Would do again.

This is by far the worst place I have been came in with chest pains and fluttering at 12 AM never got triaged 5 in the morning comes around because the fluttering wouldn't stop I am told you're not in the system they said I was called three times with no reply and they just saw the notes which was a lie I never fell asleep because I was too afraid she then tells me I'll put you back in the system but cant tell me how much longer I'll have too wait absolutely ridiculous was never asked about insurance or anything and I'm covered I wouldn't bring my dog here .....

This past Monday I went in for my first major surgery (a laproscopic right ovarian cystectomy, I believe it was called) ever and couldn't be more thankful to have had it done here at this hospital. The entire staff was nothing short of wonderful, everyone was very sweet and helpful, answering all of my questions and making sure I was okay and comfortable. My surgeon ended up being stuck in the surgery before mine for much longer than expected, but I was constantly chrcked in on and given updated the entire time so I never felt like I was just stuck there waiting with no clue what was going on. I seriously wish I knew the names of everyone who was so wonderful to me there to shout out my team of nurses and doctors. My nurse Teresa was the absolute sweetest lady ever and took such wonderful care of me and provided me with constant updates, I absolutely adored her. The lady with anesthesia was so cute and funny, making me laugh and feeling well taken care of and reassured when I mentioned before the only other time I'd had general anesthesia I woke up before the procedure started, and she made sure I felt safe and comfortable that would not happen again, and it didn't. The other young lady nurse that came to get me when it was time for my surgery was also very sweet. The procedure was a success, I was in and out pretty quickly, and all the nurses who took care of me after were so nice and caring as well, all the way until the time I went home that evening. I can't thank everyone there enough for their caring and kindness during that day, and would not hesitate to use this hospital again if needed. Thank you Piedmont Henry!

Please drive further out for some emergency help. You will die in this emergency room a lot of workers and slow movement. I ve been waiting 4 hours for a shot just ridiculous

The hospital charged my mom for her stay in the recovery room which she never got after her surgery. They charged her sprite and cookies as $350...who does that. They doubled the anesthesia charge on her when she only got it once and gave her so much morphine she felt like passing out. This isn t the hospital for you

Been in the ER for 3 hours already and have not yet seen a doctor or a nurse. After being told we are 'on the fast track', we were just called back from the waiting room 30 minutes ago and were put in a room to wait some more. To make it worse, we can overhear the nurses station - one of them just jokingly said "...somebody's gonna die tonight!" That is NOT something to joke about - ESPECIALLY IN AN EMERGENCY ROOM!! There is zero accountability or concern for patients. There is no excuse for the lack of professionalism and empathy from the staff. Even if it is the middle of the night, this is what emergency rooms are for! Things happen and people need medical attention at all hours of the day. If you are unfit to care for them, then you should not be working in a hospital.

My brother was really sick. I waited in the emergency room with him for over 12hrs. before he was seen by a doctor. Everyone who arrived after us had already seen the doctor and left . I was told there was nothing we could do except wait. The technician took blood 3 times, but no doctor ever spoke to him. My brother is a transplant patient. I assumed he would be given urgent care in the emergency room . I guess I was wrong. Never again

My dad went in with high blood pressure and high blood sugar. They diagnosed him with a headache. He s diabetic and had nothing to eat and no IV fluids while there. They didn t even recheck his blood sugar. On the discharge papers none of the meds they gave him while he was there were listed and his blood pressures had not been noted. Very vague discharge instructions were given. Poor attention to patient and not very professional.

I been here almost 12hrs. and only thing I did was wait and sleep...they took blood and check my blood pressure but never seen a doctor yet. If I known I would went elsewhere...this ashame ppl came after me is gone. Won't come here no more. I feel worse by just being here.

We waited over four hours and had not seen the doctor, only labs. We left about 1:45 a.m. It is better to go to Grady for better service.

Absolutely the worst. Drive the extra to Fayetteville just not here.

This is the worst hospital ever. No one communicates. The Doctor we have doesn't review the charts completely. The nurses are non-attentive. If you are dying, skip this hospital and go to another one even if it's further away!

The wait is too long and they just dont care about their people this lady was beside me and was crying and begging for help and they never helped her she end taking medication of her own she was go much pain wow Piedmont I thought yall was the best

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! The night staff @ ER Department was absolutely horrible. The front desk guy and RN Shame on you both for the lack of respect, compassion and Customer service that I witnessed on 12/14/18.

I am sharing my story so no one goes through what I went through. This hospital is the absolute worst. Coming from NC are medical personnel take pride in their job and act accordingly. I am not use to the disrespectful and obnoxious doctors in GA.
I went in to the ER because I was sexually assaulted. I drove a hour to avoid the piedmont hospital in newton because I thought their service was terrible, this one takes the cake. When I arrived the women asked me what I was being seen for with a bunch of people around. Every time I told her she would get distracted or start talking to others, so I had to repeat myself at least 5 times. They called me back pretty quickly but seemed to have their own agenda. I just wanted to be tested and looked at due to physical damage. The Doctor actually tried to guilt trip me, making me feel worse than I already did because I didn t feel comfortable coming forward just yet. Than the nurse came in and they only did a urine test they wouldn t even check for all STDs. I was in so much pain and just wanted the physical damages looked at as soon as possible at the least. They did not check none. The nurse offered me medicine for chlamydia and Gonorrhea. She stated It s best that you start the medicine just in case you have them. Than I asked so you don t have the result and want me to take these? She tried to tell me that I should take them whether I have anything or not because they are the most common. Upon my refusal the nurse and doctor started making smart remarks and ignoring my request for the physical damage to be checked. They made me wait two hours for a sheriff after making me feel completely awful.(at this point I just wanted my discharge papers for work so I could go) than the doctor tossed the papers at me and made me pick them up. She wouldn t put nothing in my hand and didn t even seem to care about how uncomfortable her attitude made me feel. I m speaking out to save you time. They are not worth going to, go that extra mile to a hospital with 4 stars. I always pay my hospital bill, but this company will never get a penny from me.

Worst ER ever... Front desk clerk rude. The wait is ridiculous even when it's not that many people there. They stopped calling patients for over 30 mins. This ER need me management and some organization.

I wouldn't recommend my dog to this sorry hospital the work's are sorry and lazy.They leave u in the bathroom for twenty to thirty minutes and know u can't walk well. But carma is real I hate to see one of there's get treated like that. If u don't want to do ur job find another. Piedmont need to do some investigation on there work's seriously.

almost everyone i have had contact with here, in person and over the phone, is rude and condescending. they get a one star from me for the attitudes and the trying to double bill people for stuff that theyve already been paid for not ok

Saw the bad reviews and completely disagree. I don't regularly write reviews, but in this case, I had to. Thinking of the care I received at Henry co Piedmont brings me to tears. This facility/staff really cared for me. I came here to deliver my(first) baby. I was in so much pain and terrified. I asked 2000 questions and the staff never rushed and thoroughly answered my questions. I had a C-section after days of labor, it was the same experience. The nurses, doctors, housekeeping, aids, dining staff were all devoted to my care and willing to answer my questions. Another plus was that the food was good and the menu was extensive. Thank you Piedmont Staff from me and my family.

This is the last time I go here. I came in thus Morning with severe abdominal and lower back pain. It was to the point where I can barely walk. Tonight I got in pretty quickly because it was a very slow night. My nurse was wonderful. But I was discharged and basically told there is nothing wrong with me. I only had urine and a blood test done. No sonagram no x-ray no nothing. I'm still in horrible pain. To make it worse I'm crying in the waiting room and I was trying to explain to the older lady with like a Jamaican accent she called someone else and said come help this lady I don't know what she is talking about with a nasty attitude. This made me feel even worse

I was in labor in delivery due to mild preeclampsia issues dealing with blood pressure all the nurses in this department were absolutely phenomenal and very attentive I only didn t give them 5 stars because they blew out my veins a couple times seems like they may either need more practice or confidence which isn t a bad thing nobody is born a professional. My entire stay was comfortable and very welcoming they didn t not forget a thing and I never had to really ask for anything they all knew what to do and treated me with the utmost respect and I m glad because it takes dedicated professionals like these nurses that helped me to start making a change through the hospital shout out to nurse Regina and Stephanie there were others but I can t remember names they were always going over the top and extremely professional thank you for taking care of my and my baby.

Horrible experience in the ER. 95 yo brought in by ambulance for possible broken tailbone and head trauma after a fall. She was made to SIT in a wheelchair in the waiting room, then SIT in this chair in the back for 3 hours in excruciating pain no pain meds, no attention. When she finally got "treatment " tiny dose of morphine, CT scan, she was discharged. Nothing broken, but unable to walk or even get up. Nurse Michelle was very kind but the entire experience was horrible. NEVER AGAIN.

Henry County DESPERATELY needs a second hospital. The wait times in the emergency room are ridiculous and there are rarely any available seats. A family member was once left waiting in a hall on a gurney for two hours after surgery waiting for a room to become available. It s not the staff s fault, there are just too many people in Henry County for just one hospital.

I didn't even want to give them a 1 that's how terrible they are .my son came in with a 103 Fever and no one checked him or thought to at least get his fever down with some Tylenol or Motrin while he waits.terrible we waited for 5 hours before being seen

I wanted to give them a five star but they made me wait for my discharge paperwork!!!! Other than that I love the service that was provided giving the amount of people that was in there I came at 8 pm was done by 10:30 but waited for discharge papers until 1am

This hospital doesn't even deserve 1 star..Piedmont Henry (in my opinion) is the WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!!

This hospital ER service sucks, first my wife was have stroke symptoms and they have us sit in the waiting room for 4 hours and then we finally get to the back for them to put us in a room and forget about us for another 5 hours.

Been here since 8:22pm. Yes seen within the 96 min wait time as stated on their website, but just for blood and urine samples. Then they send you BACK to the main waiting area where you sit for hours. Only about 8 people here and this is still the wait. They haven't called anyone back to see an actual doctor in over an HOUR!!! 96 min wait time is a lie!
Called back into room at 11:22pm. Waiting...Total time almost 7 hours. Left at 2:50am out the door.

POSITIVES: Thorough examination. Staff in the back were super nice! Made my wait just a little better. Registration staff up front not so personable at all...

I guess every case is different. The nurses, the doctors, the front desk, everything exceeded my expectations, especially after seeing the reviews. I am so glad and grateful I came here. I feel 100 percent better in less than an hour.

I am commenting on behalf of my Sister who had a procedure done on her because she had insurance. The procedure that they did was never suppose to happen because she was not at the stage they said she was at. On top of that, they made her sign papers and she is legally blind, stating that she has to sign them in order for them to care for her. They say that they are a non profit and yet everyday, several times a day someone came into her room while she is in tremendous pain asking how and who will be paying the hospital bill. Now that she no .longer has insurance they are treats her like a nobody, this hospital needs to be investigated. Someone needs to call a whistle blower, Fox 5 Live, and CNN! I decree and declare that they shall be exposed ASAP, in Jesus Name!!!

Horrible experience in ER in January 2017. Very little courtesy shown for an elderly woman with various medical issues including diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis while suffering with a stomach virus and not able to keep anything down including my normal meds. I finally checked myself out as I felt myself getting worse and not better. I did notice they were much nicer to others that had someone with them. Don't go there without someone with you.

One of the slowest ER i have ever seen in my life there are never any beds the waiting room is full of sick patients the staff moves so slow no energy its like you could get sick waiting on medical attention the bathrooms are always dirty the staff dose not appear friendly at all there is no organization ive been here 2 hours an no one has taken my temp which is part of my vital signs because i came in an ambulance this is my third trip here everytime i have to leave an go somewhere else you could literally get sicker in this er like im doin now who ever is over this Department needs to do thier job or they need to hire someone who can

This hospital is the slowest I ever went to came from NY and knowing how NY have so much people in the waiting area we still get to see a doctor. I took my son to this hospital and we waited long and still didn't see a doctor no call him at all and I had to leave and go somewhere else. They are sickening they don't ask u if u are ok and want to see a doctor and to top it off I was with my son in the adults waiting area part and he is under 18. They sure is nothing like Brooklyn NY. And don't let me talk about them wanting to build u and but your name Credit report they are good in that part.

I have been sick since Monday and I m a single mom....so I came into the hospital to be seen on 10/30/2018 and been in the waiting room for 6 hours... my kids are hungry and usually hospital would have machines where the ppl could get something to eat or snack on considering the wait time.... But instead saying I should basically go home if they are hungry..... just so they can still charge me for being here.... what kinda hospital is this???? Who can I reach if I don t go to the news first.....

OK I have been to this place for thrity years. Tonight my daughter broke her leg no help to get her out if vechilr I'm also disabled in oxygen and there us two parking places for people with disibilitys that are taken my oxygen last two hours almost out from just trying to fund a parking place they have no one to assist you when your disabled. What kind if place are they turning into zero if I could give it

1 star is 1 too many! I am hosting an exchange student who was in the area with some friends for the weekend and needed to go to the ER. While they took fine care of her, trying to get the bills paid has been a nightmare. Apparently the doctors are not associated with the hospital and bill separately. Dr. Dupree then uses a third party billing company. My insurance paid the doctor and tell us that co-pay is $40, but the doctor's billing company insists we owe $675. They at least have sent us a bill. It has been 6 months and the hospital still hasn't issued a bill and can't tell me what they are owed. I don't know another business outside of medical care were no one knows what something costs! Bottom line, go somewhere else unless you are about to die and have no other choice. If your illness doesn't kill you, dealing with the rude staff in the billing depart will make you wish it had.

The one is for the women at the front desk the triage nurse and the lady who drew my blood...they were all very kind. The Dr I saw, Dr D. Shannon Howell, was rude and condescending. He has zero bedside manners.

If I could give lesser than 1 i will. Took my brother in-law at the emergency and waited 9 hours just to be seen by a doctor. He came 9:30 PM and left the next day around 6:30 morning. The nurse said they will change shift by 6:00 AM and before the doctor leave she will make sure that he will be seen. But no one came and see him. Terrible service.

This was 1st time coming to any Piedmont Hospital. I was very skeptic. I had to come to the Infusion Center. The staff here are exceptional. From check in to billing to the Infusion part. The nurses were very attentive and empathetic. I have to have a surgery here next month. I truly feel comfortable and at ease and I trust them with my surgery. Thanks staff. Especially the nurses in the Infusion Center. You ladies ROCK!

Trash. A spouse is not a visitor to the ER. Theyre a pertinent party.

I was diagnosed with covid days prior to my visit last night but only went because i felt worse. They told my mom she couldn't stay with me ony to come back to me as i waited for a room to say she could have stayed. They a security wouldn't let her in, by now im in a room. After blood work and chest xrays the doctor said im developing pneumonia and that it would be on my discharge papers. It wasn't yet i have a prescription for antibiotics for pneumonia. My papers only talk about covid which i already know i have so its useless. Not to mention my bad experience in 2015 with my grandfather passing there because the doctor basically did nothing.

On a Saturday wasn't even sitting for 2mins and they at mediately seen me. Thanks PHH!

Was hospitalized there twice in 2013 and have a great experience both times

My mother has been taken there many times. It is the worse hospital I have ever seen as far as taking so long to get seen at the emergencyroom. It takes hours even if there is no one in there. It has taken a whole day to be seen before. The last time she was put in the hospital no one knew what the other one was doing. She was ammitted for an infection and then taken off her medicine the second day put was being kept there for four days so that they could make sure she was doing better and so that she could have the medicine for the four days. I really would not ever want to be put in here. I wish it was not the hospital where my mom lives.

I want you to throughly read this: Do not have give birth here! I was in labor for close to 36 hours and made reservations online for a room. Like many aforementioned reviews, the staff is
unprofessional and rude. They kept sending me home with five minute contractions. I fought them and demanded to speak to someone in charge. Needless to say, a room fell out of the sky. I then over hear a nurse ask them why did the inducing take so long and I shouldn t have been in labor so long. Months later after my daughters birth, I met a woman at the the Kroger off Lake Spivey. She shared with me her grandson died at this hospital due to the staff sending her daughter back home. This place consists of malpractice, negligence and racism. If you want you and your baby to live, go somewhere else. They don t care for African Americans or Medicaid or Medicare recipients.

Piedmont Stockbridge is a fantastic facility for all of you & your family s health needs. My wonderful beautiful Mother! Spent overnight here & it was a blast for her in every way. The Doctors/Nurses & the entire hospital staff treated her splendid! & that is why I will/would highly recommend this place to everyone! That is seeking or needing a hospital for any particular reason. I hope that anyone ever need this place! But it s definitely here if you need it... God Bless You all & take care because when it is all said & done the only one that you will ever need for anything is God!!! Above....

94 year old Mother taken to ER - Many "workers" but only 1 who actually would respond to requests. Most just standing around chatting and saying "okay" but never do anything.

Went to er with broken bones & waited 7hrs befor I wrote this & still waiting. Understaffed, unorganized, & felt like I will be sick from the dirty waiting room. What's going on is pure criminal. Go somewhere else, the drive is worth it to go somewhere else

I went to Piedmont Henry with chest pains. The good news is they called me right back and gave me ekg and did blood work. They told me that I would hear something back within 45 minutes. Four (4) hours later... still no word. I finally went up to the emergency room desk to let them know that I had not eaten all day and asked if I could call back. They looked at me nonchalantly and I walked out. I called back later on that night to see if they had my results. I called the ER first. They told me they didn't have the results and transferred me to medical records. The woman in medical records told me that I needed to call ER. I explained that they were the ones that transferred me to her. So needless to say....I still don't know my results. I am writing this review still NOT knowing if I have heart issues. I guess if something happens you will be able to google to find out why.

If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst hospital in the area.

Absolutely worst experience in a medical professional environment. Some of the receptionists are extremely rude and show no signs of compassion or empathy towards the citizens that approach their desk. The nurse Francisco is disgustingly sarcastic, and inserts IV s into people incorrectly. The doctor was just as nasty exclaiming I don t know what happened, I wasn t there! . That is completely obvious, but isn t that the point of coming to the emergency room?! To detect a cause or problem. Please do yourself a favor patrons and read the reviews. This place is a true disaster!

The ER is terrible! I came in about one something and was seen almost two hours later. Than they put me on fast track to be seen quicker and lm sitting over 40 minutes and still no doctor

It is sad in this day and age the service this hospital is giving it has steadily gone down hill sents piedmont has taken over. Some of these executives and supervisors need to go under cover just to see how there staff is handling certain situations and certain people.

My mother came in with chest pains! 21/2 hours later not one dr or nurse came in to check on her. All the nurses were standing around doing NOTHING! ALL They were interested in was what everyone else was doing. Finally after I started to raise cain in the ER they started to do something. This hospital is just another Grady! They dont care about the patients here! I will never bring My Mother back here. 3 hours and they finally came in this room. Ridiculous!

Worst experience ever to be talk to in such a degrading tone by a doctor un provoked. they happily bill your insurance but have no intentions to actually look in to treatment its all about the money. I will be filing a formal complaint and seeking an attorney Piedmont has become a monopoly in health care

My experience was awesome.. the entire staff..no matter who i encountered was very nice..everything done to me was explained.. Dr Haynor & Dr Eze C Ugwueze were fantastic ..

Just relocated to Atlanta one week ago. My cousin was brought into ER arrived at 3:28pm. Blood and vitals taken one hour later. We were told several hours later six people were ahead of us at 9pm. Hospital staff told us they only had 40 beds and were filled to capacity. The visiting room was filled with elderly, patients on breathing machines and severe stomach pains. At 9:30pm I began to fall asleep waiting for my cousin to be called. No hospital staff ever called her name so we left at 10pm. This was the worst hospital experience I ever had in my entire life. Being an medical professional the customer service was "Unacceptable" The directors of this hospital needs to re-evaluate the quality of patient care.

I went in on a Saturday at 8:30 complaining of leg pain that moved from the back of my knee to my thigh. I was also suffering from recurring headaches that started at my temple, went to the back of my neck, and down my shoulders. I then exclaimed my heart hurt and motioned with my arm towards my chest. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour and a half. When the tech that does the EKG came to get me I informed her I had been sitting In the lobby for over an hour and a half. Once she goes to inquire the receptionist at check in, and the intake nurse both lied and said I never complained of chest pains. What really happened was she want listening, as I had to explain my ailments to her twice. I understand professional courtesy and always having you colleagues backs but the lack of integrity and indifference displayed in this interaction was woefully negligent. The staff is extremely unprofessional and indifferent to your needs. How dare you infer a patient is lying about ailments which were the very ailments that brought them to this sham of a medical facility! But I get it.....my insurance lapses and suddenly my life doesn t mean a thing! Straight to my face inferring something like that I mean what reason would I have to lie......I then asked for the patient advocate who of course wasn t available, I then asked for the DON whom also apparently wasn t available this late in the evening! Go figure! If you can get to Emory, Grady, or hell even Wellstar , GO do not and repeat do not come to Piedmont s Henry.

This place is horrible. Piedmont is messing up their name being affiliated with this hospital. 4 hours in the waiting room and still nothing. Nurses walking around eating qnd socializing. Never again

I read some of these posts and wonder what caused different results from what I experienced. One time when my son and I went in ,there was blood on the stainless steel table in the room we were in that wasn't ours. Another time, I was having chest pains, took us over a hour to be seen, and they billed me for over 500 dollars and they didn't even give me a coke. The only thing that makes me go to this hospital if I have to go is it's location.

The worst hospital ever. A dear friend of mine died there recently. During her two day stay, we were given multiple conflicting stories of what was going on. One nurse couldn't even spare a minute to get my friend a blanket, so I had to get it for her. Even the doctor who explained what had happened near the end got many of the facts completely wrong. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL. It's big and impressive looking...but it's an empty shell. Most of the people who work there just don't seem to care about people.

Very concerned about the hygiene and lack of preparation for handling large numbers of patients in the waiting room during the Covid pandemic. I m waiting on patient relations to speak more to me about this.

Parking is extremely limited for the emergency room

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I will go to EMORY from now on!!! We stayed in the emergency room for over 7 hours before we saw a doctor for chest pain and heart palpitations. Never. Ever. Again. EVER!

We had an excellent experience. The labor and delivery staff was amazing.

Stuck my husband in a little side room with no regular bed after having chest pains and lung issues. Serious diseases. They didn't even know what TCU stood for, which is the unit he is on. It's complete BS. Next time he will go to Navicent Medical Center in Macon. This place is a complete joke!!!!

Set here for over 5 hrs my husband had to set with his arm swollen from a IV. Hour after calling the nurse and doc asst and tellingvthem his IV was not working the doc asst came and looked at it but did nothing it was only a 22 minute wait when we arrived but took 5 hours to be seen..for miagrain

I have been to a lot of hospitals over the course of my life and Piedmont Henry provided the best service I have ever been provided with CTCA very, very close.

I was in and out in abt 3 hours everyone was nice and courteous but overall great hospital

I've been here since 9am and it is now 2:30. I came to the ER for chest pain and shortness of breath. This doctor just came in to discharge me and told me to go get some ibuprofen!!! They are horrible here, and my nurse didnt know any of the questions I asked her. I wanted to ask her
How are you a nurse?" Its unfortunate bc this is the closest hospital to me, and they need a fresh paint job!!! Avoid this hospital if you can.

One word, neglect. My mom is a vegetable because no one noticed that oxygen wasn't reaching her brain for several hours. That one star is only given so I can inform the public.

This the worst emergency room i have ever been to!!!! The emergency room staff all have bad attitudes the doctors nurse charge nurse etc they are more concerned about people with the flu i have low kidney function sleep apnea, high blood pressure and they send me home and i cant even stand !! And everyone is unbothered about my concerns!! And what i ask questions they could care less so they sending me home to die insted of helping me! I will always choose Grady hospitals day over this place!!!

I understand now why people are catching Covid-19 because they dont have social distance between patients nor nurses. They expect you to sit right next to sick patients. This us unacceptable service and putting patients more at risk with Covid-19.

I spent over 9 hrs. in the ER before getting to a room and see a doctor. I had stroke and heart symptoms but they are so busy no one is an emergency. I spent 4 hrs in ER before being admitted. A lot of laughing going on at the nurses desk. Right before shift change, they got busy.
Something needs to change with the ER. 9 hrs is ridiculous just waiting for a room. Henry County deserves better treatment!

I was literally in the ER for 8 hours and was never seen and lied to numerous times about how I would be next. They failed me and had plenty of options to get me through. I saw deatly I'll people vomiting for hours and they refused to help them or give them care. This hospital is the worst. You will be better off driving an hour away to get help. Don't go. You'll die waiting.

This a sorry excuse for an emergency department. House Supervisor for 1/22/2018 did nothing for my dad. The citizens of Henry County would be better off going to Atlanta.

We been here since 12am...It is 3:38 and still in the waiting room...10 people came after us and have been seen and went home...when asked what taking so long I was told it was no rooms in the department my husband needed to be in...worst place to be in if you in pain

Went to the emergency room, this afternoon (8/1/19), still not sure of my diagnosis because I was so upset at the staff losing my drivers license. I gave my license to a gentleman once entering, he took my license and advised me to sit down and wait to be called. I did as told, waited for almost 2 hours and was just going to go home and call my doctor. I got up to the desk and my license has seemed to grow legs and run the hell away. No trace of my license, even after they reviewed the video. This has got to be the worse hospital I've ever been to, in my life. The most irresponsible and unprofessional healthcare facility, especially for the location! The bathroom in the waiting room was disgusting as well!

Took my wife to the ER after a car accident with airbag deployment. ER staff, especially PA Brantly, was excellent. From walk in to walk out it wasn't more than an hour and a half. I think some people need to understand what kind of administrative garbage the wonderful Obamacare inflicts on hospitals and medical professionals in general. People voted for FREE healthcare. Why are they now surprised it make take it a little longer. It's not even fully implemented... :)

We got here at 11 and got in a room at 1 and still haven't seen the doctor and it's 3 AM?! WHEN REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO A NURSE WAS RUSHED OFF AND TOLD SHE WAS MAKING HER ROUNDS.

After hours of waiting my sister was told she had the flu, no testing done to confirm their diagnoses and when we asked for tamiflu they said no.

I had previously visited Piedmont prior to my second visit during Covid. As most everyone during this period of Covid,I was definitely skeptical,afraid to go to a hospital for treatment. I was in great pain when I entered the hospital, i was seen immediately upon arrival, sent asap to get vitals checked, given meds to bring blood pressure down, pushed from x-ray to cat scan to x-ray again. Given a quiet room immediately. Nurses,Doctors, Staff were very professional, attentive, and pleasant! Treated me as royalty. I "HIGHLY" recommend Piedmont Hospital to anyone and everyone. These "PROFESSIONALS" are phenomenal. Love you guys forever. Best facility I have ever visited,and I have been to many. 1k stars and counting. Great Job!

Worst experience ever! The wait is extremely long and the staff is rude! Don t recommend you go here at all.

I drove to Piedmont Henry for abdominal pains and was quickly and efficiently admitted. The admissions process couldn't have gone smoother. Every member of the staff from check-in through my unfortunate but necessary laparoscopic appendectomy was wonderful. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Piedmont Henry.

I was there this afternoon, and I bought a 6inch chicken teriyaki sub. The girl with the dreads made my sub and it was over good. I really do appreciate her upbeat spirit! The guy d anthony is very loud, obnoxious, and ghetto, he was using very vulgar profanity. Others and myself were just looking at him. I really dont appreciate the way he represents your store. I don't think I'll be coming back again if his there BUT I sure did love my sub today.

Long waits. Staff do not keep you posted on why things are taking so long. There is a breakdown of communication from department to department.

I didn t have any issues going to here! Of course there is going to be a wait time! Every ER has a long wait time!

Poor service, didn't listen to patient at all, gave medication that they were told will not help and has ill effects. Will never come back nor recommend.
