This has been my best experience receiving psychiatric services. They're awesome!

Horrible company. Horrible doctors. No help you are just a number and a paycheck. Leaving for a private practice.

Today I went to a new provider and he asked me questions for two hours before recommending everything. I feel like he already knows and understands me better than Mary or Catherine ever did after years of going to Benchmark.

They have always been quick to offer new medications that cost upwards of $100 to refill.

They charged me for rescheduling an appointment within 24 hours but I have waited up to 45 minutes and no less than 10 minutes for my appointments. It was the first time I had to reschedule in almost 3 years of going there.

I realize their policy is to give 24 hour notice to reschedule an appointment; my policy is not to wait 45 minutes for someone who charges $150+ for a quick chat and blind recommendation of expensive medications.

We spent multiple visits looking through notes, some of which were never taken from previous visits, which left us to guess what I had taken previously.

I do not recommend using anyone at this provider.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with this place!!!! Been going here for years, paying cash mind you. Was pregnant had my son so obviously couldn t take meds. Now I m in need, desperately, I mean desperately!!! I can t find anyone to take my insurance and they re refusing me because they haven t seen me in a little over a year. So they want to start me as new patient and Increase my payment 3x what I was paying!!! And you wonder why there s a mental health issue in this world! Thanks benchmark, all the cash I had to dish out to you and meds to try to be okay... sorry I tried to stop to be ok for my son!!! And now I m soooo NOT OKAY!

I like my provider, but the front desk service is very frustrating as I have to be very blunt about everything and almost extremely annoying to get my point across. I changed insurances and they still have yet to process my current insurance payment for my last visit almost three months ago! They keep trying to bill me the full amount which I do not need to pay due to my current insurance covering most of the full amount. I have called them three times, called billing three times, and called my insurance three times and both billing and insurance have said that they need to process my insurance. I could understand I would have to pay the full amount if I did not have insurance or my insurance did not cover it, but it does. So, I guess they will not be getting paid from this visit until the process my insurance if that is what they want because even my insurance is mailing me lots of letters stating I do not owe anything until they process my insurance. I m tempted to switch providers not because of the providers but because of the billing services and front desk staff unwilling to help for almost three months to process my insurance! I do not feel like I am asking for a lot at all.

I saw the psychiatrist Kathryn Cavitt at the Orland Park office. She told me she doesn't think any of the drugs she sells can have long lasting effects on people once they stop taking them. When I found out that the majority of published and unpublished studies found the exact opposite of what Kathryn claims to believe, I stopped seeing her.
