Ronnie Russell is absolutely amazing! He is an excellent salesman. I cannot stand going to dealerships, and he made my experience as painless as possible. He really knows how to relate to the customer and really just wants to make you happy at the end of the day. Hands down, he is a huge blessing and asset to Honda. Poor customer service. The car they tried to sell ...

Poor customer service. The car they tried to sell me had either been in a flood or had a leak in the trunk. The car was a 2015 ES 350 with roughly 51800 miles on it. if you looked in the trunk of the car, the carjack was badly rusted and the spare tire's rim had surface rust. The sales manager tried to say that it was caused by moister. Ha! what a joke. He then pulled out the Styrofoam that housed the jack to prove how dry it was. When he tried to lay it on the ground, water poured out of one of the cavities in the Styrofoam. When I pointed it out, he told me "again that's just moisture."
He then flipped the jack over to the side that had minimal rust and put it back - probably to conceal it from the next buyer.
The sales manager became visibly angry and walked off when I told him I wasn't going to by a luxury car that has surface rust on the spare and a severely rusted jack with water collecting in the trunk. Don't trust these folks. Their certification is worthless.

I just Bought my second new car from this dealer in the last two years. I have bought a lot of new cars over the years BUT this dealer has been far the best. My daughter needed service on her 2016 Civic air conditioner and it was amazing what they did for her. The sales folks (mine was Ken Hill) are great. They truly have patience for you and the transaction with the finance was very relaxing and well managed. I have a lot respect for a business that operates as such and I highly recommend this dealer over many. No pressure, easy to talk to and truly wanting to make you happy and satisfied you purchased a car from them. Thank you again for making our purchase so easy.

My experience at Hendrick Honda was very pleasant. Bennie Schadrac my sales representative was extremely helpful and accommodating. He listened to my needs and wants and showed me a car that was exactly what I was looking for. Bennie was not your average sales specialist; overly pushy or agrressively forceful. On the other hand, he showed his concern and interest in getting me into a reliable, safe, and attractive brand new vehicle. In addition the finance manager, Amael Pahnwar was also a pleasure to work with. He was attentive to my concerns and showed humility and compassion for my financial needs (and he is hilarious) :). Overall, I would recommend Hendrick Honda to anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle, especially when Bennie and Amael are present. Thank you gentlemen!

This was the very best experience ever!!! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by Gus Forbes who is a wonderful, friendly, helpful, and caring person. He answered all of our questions, and handed us over to Vickie Athey who was just as competent. She filled out all of the paperwork, answered all of our questions, had the patience of a saint, and just made us feel better than family! We then went to see Darrin Boatwright, who filled out more paperwork,- did we tell you there's lots of paperwork when you buy a car? But he was just as wonderful as the previous two people that we delt with!
We were at the dealership for several hours since our car was fresh off the truck, and required detailing, but it was a relaxing, fun time, and everyone was very accommodating! Vickie is new to the car industry, but she was amazing! She was very knowledgable, and very helpful. I appreciated a woman's imput!! We have never felt so comfortable at a "store" before, and it was a great experience!
We are already recommending the Charlotte Hendrick Honda store to everyone we meet. They treated us better than family- because we all know how family can be! We really felt special, but with no pressure to buy. We are even planning to drop in just to visit, the next time we're in the Charlotte area! Recently returned from a 7-day business trip to San Diego, during which I bought a 2019 Honda Pilot from BRAD THOMPSON at Hendrick Honda almost entirely online! Brad was absolutely awesome to work with, and provided the best car buying experience we've ever had. A true joy to work with! My first inquiry to Brad was via email, and he responded right away with a quote on a Pilot I saw on the Hendrick's Honda website. Brad's quote was lower than I was anticipating given my research, which immediately blew me away. We exchanged a few more emails, I filled out some forms online, and Brad held the car back for me until I returned. Once I got back, went to the dealer and walked away with my car 30 minutes later. Again, truly blown away by the experience, and give my full endorsement to BRAD. Thanks for making it so easy!!

RONNIE RUSSELL is the Man!! He made my car buying experience one of the least stressful car buying experiences I ever had. There wasn t any long walks around the lot in the hot heat, much of anything for me to do but decide on the car, give my information & I told him what I wanted. He apparently has the quick eye & listens very well because it literally was a one stop shop with finding the car!! (And I m usually not a person that s easily impressed) I love my car, he made sure the overall car & deal worked in my favor. I purchased the gold extended warranty for $3000 bc the rep highly recommend it because it covered bumper to bumper... haven t had an issue until Tuesday... small issue cig lighter when out that I use to charge my phone with... I called and got brushed off from service manager telling me I would be liable to pay for a diagnostics test for $130 if it wasn t covered and only way to know if it was covered is to run it.... Hendricks STOLE $3000 from me over a CIG lighter!!!! I can t see myself ever trusting another Hendricks dealership if this is how they are ran...If you are on the market for a new used car make sure you do your research not only on the car but the dealership

I was greatly pleased with the level of service we received at Hendrick Honda. Everyone was very friendly and courteous from the salesmen to management. I received better service as the winner of the annual raffle than I think I ever have purchasing or even looking at a new vehicle. There was no commission to be made and Chip helped us like we were his biggest clients. If your in the market for a new Honda this is the place to go. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Umberto Spinillo was very professional and treated us with respect. For me, as a first time customer in a dealership, my family and I walk in there knowing little about what we're actually going to pay for the car we wanted vs the advertised price. Umberto broke things down for us and explained how the process worked so that we didn't have any doubts about our purchase. Good friendly vibe and positive attitude with a no hassle, no rush and no obligation approach which is how it should be done. He was able to work with Tony Howsare (sales manager) to present us with better interest rate options which was the key in making our final decision. Umberto kept us up to date on things to make sure we where getting the best service possible. He made sure we understood fully before signing anything, answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. I never felt rushed and/or felt like there where any suspicious loop holes because they cleared any price doubts we had, unlike other dealerships where they hassle people into making a big mistake.

I had a nice experience purchasing my new CRV from Hendrick Honda. I had done my homework before I arrived so the biggest decision was whether I preferred the 2019 or 2020 details. My direct sales contact was Chip Chamberlin. He was genuinely friendly and informative. No pushy sales tactics. He showed me the showroom 2020 model first and explained the changes made for the 2020 model which I was familiar with but seeing them in person made all the difference. I test drove a 2019 and he showed me the many safety and driving features. I decided to buy a 2019 and after all the paperwork was finalized Chip took the time to go over all the computer features with me, link my phone, etc. before I left. Note, I was trading in a 2007 Element so this CRV is like piloting the Space Shuttle by comparison. The process made for a long day, maybe a bit longer than it should have since I came prepared. Fortunately I had a nice sales rep that kept me company. Perhaps they were busier than it appeared in other departments when they had to inspect my trade-in and detail the vehicle that I bought. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that since it was an otherwise very good experience.

I worked directly with Jeff Nall at Hendrick Honda in Charlotte, NC and my experience was fantastic! Jeff and the team were prompt, professional and courteous. They clearly explained to me the several issues that I was having with my 2012 Honda Odyssey and performed the work timely. I was promptly e-mailed a document called Know Your Vehicle which included a red/yellow/green analysis of my car s systems based on a multi-point inspection. I did not ask for this report nor was I expecting this report. Jeff was great to work with and I will be returning to Hendrick Honda for future service.

With sound credit, a full time job, and healthy down payment we began visiting dealerships in search of the idea vehicle for him. The process proved to be disappointing for both of us with unprofessional, dismissive treatment, and lack of customer service. What a difference we found the second we drove on to the Hendrick Honda location on South Boulevard. Wow moment after wow moment. My son was greeted by Nate Pearson, the manager of Hendrick Honda Used Car Division. He gave my son his complete attention treating him with the utmost respect and dignity even though this was his first auto purchase. Every detail was enjoyable as we navigated his choice with the assistance of sales associate, Teresa Crawford. Teresa carefully reviewed essential details about the car of our interest and treated us to an enjoyable ride/ The white glove treatment continued in the finance department with Dorian. Even on a busy Saturday, he carefully reviewed all finance documentation so my son felt comfortable with each step of the transaction. Nate Pearson, the manager, gave my son a personal tour of the entire dealership introducing him to service experts reviewing the benefits or him and explaining how to navigate the service side of things. My son was ushered into his first car which had been detailed with a full tank of gas. Teresa snapped a photo of my proud son with his new car and Nate Pearson expressed his gratitude for his business. Top to bottom every element of our experience at Hendrick Honda Used Cars was impeccable. Never had I seen such customer-focused service. These people know how to make the car purchasing experience enjoyable. Thank you, Nate Pearson and Teresa Crawford. As a mom, it was wonderful watching how you treated my son. We had bought a used Toyota vehicle from them and within a week had a significant navigation problem. We have given them back the vehicle 4 times to rectify the problem and each time they took it back and gave us a rental vehicle to use. Through a process of elimination, we finally had the problem resolved and are very satisfied with the end result.
This whole ordeal has been handled by Chris Curran at their service department and he has been tireless trying to get the problem fixed and help us with this and keeping us happy. Even though this wasn't a Honda product, they have stood by their commitment to their customer and sold us a vehicle that they could have easily pawned off as a "used as is" and instead went above and beyond to provide excellent service and help.
Thank you Chris and all at the service department from Hendrick Honda of Charlotte.

The folks we worked with were nice. Adam Jones was our rep. He was very nice, knowledgeable and did not put a bunch of pressure on us. The warranty salesperson was also very nice, but spread it on a little thick. The dealership was very clean and friendly-feeling. They even have a game room for the kids! This was very important as we have kids AND we were there for six hours! That was just way too long; especially since we were motivated buyers. Overall: great experience - just needs to be expedited.

A friend and I were recommended by another friend to contact a sales person from Hendrick (I will not list his name) as she had worked with him before and he was supposedly genuinely a great guy. Everything started off okay. I explained my rough credit history to him and he assured me that he could work with me. He took my and my husband's info on a Thursday before Veteran's Day. Due to the holiday, he said there would be a delay to speak with "Honda" which would happen that Monday.

By Wednesday, I reached called the salesman but he did not answer. I texted him asking for a status update and I received the reply "Call shortly." Three weeks later, "shortly" is still not here.

I submitted a web contact request asking for a status of my application. I got an immediate response that said someone would be in touch "shortly." A few days later, I received a call from someone from the dealership. I explained the situation, he said he would look into.... Nothing!!

Here's my thing - I know that it was not a great chance that I would be able to get financing due to some unfortunate circumstances, however I would imagine that SOMEONE in that dealership - a different sales person, finance guy, receptionist... SOMEONE could just say, "No. We can't help you at this time."

By the way, my friend who was also working with this gentleman never heard back either.

So if your credit is questionable, I wouldn't go here, they can't help you. I gave the dealership 2 stars because they offer free hot dogs and hamburgers on the weekend while you wait.

Easily one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dealership. Andrea in service was amazing and pointed me to Sean M to try and help find a resolution to an issue I was having with a 2018 Odyssey I purchased from Hendrick. Sean bent over backwards and was incredible! In then end we worked with Adam in sales and traded and walked out with a 2021 Pilot. The entire process was awesome and I highly recommend Sean, Adam, Andrea and the whole team at Hendrick. This is a really stand up classy organization!!

I had an appointment for an oil change. I got there 10 minutes early and was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. So I decided to stay at Honda and wait. After waiting 2.5 hours the service advisor brought me 2 pages of suggested services. They performed a multi point inspection (which was free of cost) as well as changed my oil. Therefore, I waited an extra hour for the team to preform an inspection I did not ask for. Yes, it was free, but my time is not. I finally got my car back 30 minutes after the papers were brought to me. I waited a total of 3 hours for a simple oil change.

After going to a competitor and dealing with multiple salespeople more interested in lowballing and gaming me than in helping me during a difficult time, I drove across town to Hendrick Honda where sales and leasing consultant Steven Carlton made a tough task so much easier. Not only did he negotiate a price without hassle, he called up a member of Hendrick s legal department (on their day off) to make certain I had all the correct estate paperwork. He even sat and chatted with me as I waited for my ride to pick me up. He was practically paternal towards me, and for that I am grateful. We need more car salespeople like Steven. I don t live in the Charlotte area, but if I did, I would absolutely do business with Hendrick Honda and especially it s used car department.

I did not have a pleasant customer service experience with the sales person Michael W. He was very unresponsive to my calls and text messages regarding my application. I was in dire need of a vehicle due to mine being in a car accident and I only had a rental for a few days. Even if he was unable to get me approved he should of said so instead of not returning my calls. 5 days have gone by and still no returned phone call. I ve purchased a car from them before so I was very disappointed in this service this time. But God is good and I was able to purchase a vehicle in one day from Town & Country Toyota where the service was excellent!

I just traded in my 2017 Honda HRV for a 2021 and Hendrick was wonderful. Chris Robinson, the Sales Consultant was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I really felt that he cared about my experience and wanted me to be totally satisfied with the car. He answered all my questions during the purchase and continued to answer my questions when I texted him afterwards.
The car is great. I have a dog that goes everywhere with me and the HRV Magic Seat allows for a spacious dog area.

It was a wonderful experience and Carlos Coyle was GREAT. This is my first time with Hendrick Honda and we really impressed with the customer service. He is very professional, helpful and made my first car purchase rememberable and hassle free. I would strongly recommend Carlos Coyle and Hendrick Honda.

I always have great costumer service with Dennis, he is awesome, I will always give him a 5 star, but in general, the reason I have a 4 star is because this time I went for an oil change, and waited a little over 2 hrs, when I checked my car at home, the service guys didn't change my oil change sticker, and they always fill my fluids, this time it didn't happen, I guess they were too busy to take good care of my car.

My vehicle was on it's last legs and I made the decision to trade it in at Hendrick Honda. They gave me much more for my vehicle than I had expected and worked with me in creating the lowest possible monthly payment. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I didn't feel as though I was being scammed into hidden fees, etc. I left with a beautiful 2014 Honda Civic and couldn't be happier. Manh Nguyen helped me right when I walked in the door and helped me throughout the entire process. He was so nice and it really made the entire process of leasing my first car a lot easier and less overwhelming. Mike Gross also really helped me out explaining the entire paperwork process and answering any questions I had in a clear, simple way. The process was extremely smooth and I left with my new vehicle that day.

Just had a fabulous experience with Melissa Evans yet again! She is a knowledgeable, professional, patient and absolutely delightful salesperson. Other Hendrick Honda staff members were wonderful as well, and everyone made the process of getting a new car easy and painless!

It would have been a 5 star experience - So sorry we didn't buy our Honda from you. Normally we buy from Hendrick dealerships - they are class acts all the way...This time we opted for a dealership closer to where we live... we got lazy! We love our new Honda Civic, but our experience with the purchase has been unbelievable! We traded in a Jeep and financed the payoff in with the price of the new Honda. To date, August 24, 2015, ( 2 months later) Metro Honda of Union County, has not paid off our Jeep trade-in. We have called the dealership weekly, texted them, been to the dealership 5 times - all with no results. With every call, trip, or text, we get new excuses, promises, and dismissals. They say they over-nighted (FedX) the payoff TWICE - one of the tracking numbers shows a package was sent to Maine - when our bank's offices are in Dallas, TX. - go figure! With weekly calls from bank wanting the pay-off, we have hired a lawyer who is building a substantial case. We have already paid a payment on my new car, meanwhile, Metro Honda of Union County has over $7,000. of our financed money sitting in their bank account - or maybe in Maine somewhere... instead of being used to pay off our trade in as per our contract. Bottom line, stick to quality dealerships that offer services and agreements that have integrity and a first rate person that stands behind every sale!
