Hemingways nairobi Review

Highly recommend the spa. The rates are reasonable. The food was great and cocktails were also very well done. It's a very relaxing place.

The hotel is beautiful and elegant. However the food is slightly disappointing and the variety on the Sunday lunch buffet could be better.

Nice ambiance. Cream tea was disappointing though. It was not as good as it used to be. Cream too sweet - not sure it was real cream actually - and not home made jam.

Always memorable service and great ambience. The ostrich steak was extra tender . We enjoyed.

I have stayed at Hemingways twice now. The hotel itself is beautiful and the setting is amazing. The food at the restaurant is good, especially recommend the steak. The service at the restaurant varies and can be a little slow. Generally I find everyone here attentive but not overbearing. The butler's are really great.

I have visited Hemingways several times and was taking my mum to enjoy the experience it to. A girl's day out but the service was disappointing this time round.she seemed overwhelmed and our food took a long time to come.and so did the bill when we were ready to go. My mum only exclaimed why is the service bad today.....I was left with no answer.....

Lovely structures, nice ambience, professional staff and good meals, however Me thinks their gate needs additional staff for faster clearance of guests.

It's located in a prestine environment in Karen area. Elegant designs and access to pool and sauna. Has good service delivery but slow on the main meal delivery after placing an order. The price is moderate for the main dishes most ranging at $25 -$30. The room service is excellent. All in all it would be a really good area for family, friends and couples.

My first time here, and as expected, a wonderful service for the occasion I attended and the meal was tasty. Very well organised and clean.

Argh they've sorted it out. Hemingway did not fail to meet my expectations. Zeddy was a great waiter and the food was fantastic get there early and have a cocktail or 2.
