Hemingways nairobi Review

Wonderful hotel. Lucky to have tried living here for a week. Really enjoyed it. Wish there was a games room, and laundry is blisteringly expensive, but pleasant, proper place to stay. Wifi is stable and quick.

Amazing restaurant, has the best steak. When ever we go I like to walk through their gardens they are beautiful. It is expensive though but I think the money is totally worth it.

Beautiful place.
Serene, green, sound of the water is so relaxing. You can show up without a reservation for a meal but they prefer that you do especially during peak tourist seasons. The food is delicious, the staff is very helpful and polite.

It's a high end dining with quality food excellent ambience and superb staff.

This place is what they had in mind when they said exquisite

The place and the ambience was amazing at this place, however, would recommend them to really improve their service to reflect their charges. Simple examples of challenges we faced during our stay:
- on arrival, they could see me removing luggage from the car and no one came to assist

- at the pool side, no waiters to take orders or serve. When we asked someone, they didn't come for 30 mins and had to be reminded again

- at check-in, we were told that there is special Asian cuisine at night and that they can make special vegetarian dishes for us. At dinner, they simply said not possible and were not accommodating to our diets. Service was also poor at dinner

Love the ambience here.. You forget you are in Nairobi. The staff are so friendly makes it feel like home. The food exceptional.. Definitely will be back!

Absolutely amazing views! I particularly liked the concierge and staff in general, very organised and professional. I had some sort of seafood soup that i found completely revolting that i had to have it taken away, i ended up ordeeing something else. Great bloody mary though!

In the true Hemingways tradition, this place is out of this world

The brunch was good for a buffet style of meal the food was fresh ,tasteful and a great selection.

Phrehaps they could improve the quality of there dessert. Cuz they did look and taste a little bit industrial.

What a hotel, any staying in or near Nairobi should stay here if possible. Amazing rooms, incredible food and brilliant staff.

Beautiful grounds, lovely room! Has a balcony, a mini bar, TV hidden in a travel trunk, seating area, two desk areas, two sinks, a shower room, a huge soaking tub, and a large walk in closet. We also used the pool and gym to try to power through our jetlag. My husband enjoyed their breakfast each morning but I stayed in the room for breakfast and had coffee delivered. Overall a great welcome to Kenya and great place to kick off our honeymoon!

The menu is quite affordable. Grab a seat on the upper floor for better views esp to catch the sunset. Nice venue for a chill date

It was a good place for talking and taking pictures

I've enjoyed the food. The fresh juices were really fresh no sugar added. I enjoyed the oven pumpkins and the sweet potatoes soup. Keep it up.

Beautiful place. Passed there with a friend for afternoon tea to catch up. Ambience is inviting and relaxing, staff friendly and meal was good.

Good customer service and I really love it's architecture. It also has a nice waterfront. Am sure you will like it.

A splendid ambience, both indoor and outdoor, and an overall great dining experience, especially for a date. Definitely worth a try next time you're in the area.
