I went to the Botanic Gardens earlier tonight to see the Blossoms of Light. It was a wonderful experience! I d recommend splurging and getting hot chocolate before you start the walk - it ll be worth it!

A great place to explore, ticket cost $9 dollars for student and $15 for adult. We spent almost 4 hours i there during winter. The Japanese Zen Garden really surprised me. Pay close attention to detail during the visit in the Garden and you won t regret.

Beautiful gardens with a family oriented atmosphere. The Christmas/holiday lights are absolutely stunning but if you are going I recommend bringing a jacket and gloves. The food and refreshments are a bit on the expensive side so if you are planning on eating here, bring some extra cash. This place can get crowded depending on when you go, so choose a time wisely. I would recommend going on a day when kids are in school, as this is a popular family destination. This is one of my favorite destinations in Denver and it is very close to Colfax, which is a very unique area that I suggest you visit. Try it out!

This place is just so beautiful and peaceful. We love to go early in the morning when they first open and walk around. My toddlers pick which direction to go and they love discovering what is hiding behind the next turn. The paths are big enough for my double side by side stroller and smooth enough we don't run into any places the stroller gets stuck. We can bring in drinks and snacks which makes it one of the perfect places for us to spend a morning!!

This is one of the nicest botanical gardens I've ever seen. You can easily spend all day there and not see the entire thing. I'll definitely check it out again if I'm ever back in Denver.

I LOVE the Denver Botanic Gardens! It is an absolute gem; a beautiful, serene oasis situated amidst the urban landscape. There's nothing like grabbing a coffee at the cafe and strolling the gardens for hours - so peaceful and lovely. Be aware, things can get crowded at peak times or around special events. Overall, one of my favorite destinations in Denver; a place I always reccomend, whether you're from the Mile High or just visiting.

Wonderful green haven within the city! Parking was easy, it wasn't too crowded, and they offer a student discount. (We went around 2pm on a Tuesday in May.) The bonsai area and the indoor rainforest areas were probably my favorites. Benches and seating throughout. Also make sure to check out the gift shop! Even if you don't buy anything, it's a pretty cool selection of pottery, hand-crafted goods, jewelry, scarves, books, kids toys. (You don't have to pay for a ticket to go to the gift shop part.)

Great variety of tropical plants within the green house but everything else was dry as I visited in December. It is nice for kids and family to walk around have some fun along with some useful learning.

We went to ghost in the gardens tour for Halloween. It was a fun time...didn't see any ghost =( but had an awesome guide. Johnathon was so enthusiastic and shared his knowledge of the gardens through stories he even semi-acted out the prior encounters=) the tour was at night so what I got to see was limited but still beautiful. The paths are extra wide and easily navigated. I saw several benches and photo opportunities and all the staff I encountered are great. Jonathon's knowledge and all the great vstories definitely have me planning another trip in the spring. Hopefully after the daytime visit I can edit my review to 5 stars.

Blossoms of Light display was very nice. We went during a time when it wasn't busy but it was still hard to find parking. Plan on having parking issues. Everything else was lovely, highly recommended.

Loved the gardens. I want to come back when the temperatures are cooler. It is laid out so wonderfully by regions. I could spend all day here. Leave yourself plenty of time so you don't miss anything. The gift shop was amazing. Purchased a beautiful air plant. Wonderful place to take pictures.

This is a wonderful and magical place. So many beautiful plants and this place is a perfect place for a nice walk. There are also themes for the seasons like lights on the plants for Christmas and a Halloween theme in the fall. A perfect place for a date with that special someone. A must do in Denver so please go check this place out.
