Free parking, and beautiful scenic walks. A very peaceful place. Highly recommend!
Free parking, and beautiful scenic walks. A very peaceful place. Highly recommend!
Love visiting the Botanical gardens!! Late spring thru fall are definitely the most vibrant times outside, but they always have lovely things indoors. You can get good food at a couple different cafe locations, a wonderful gift shop, and you can also bring your own picnic. Highly recommend.
Always a pleasure even for one who is not very knowledgeable or shall I say one who is botanically challenged. Took a class and was impressed and inspired. Staff is always helpful and courteous.
I have never been disappointed with these gardens and I've been at least six times. Always beautiful. Always well maintained. There's a little something for everyone but my favorites are all the dry/mountain/native gardens and the extensive Japanese gardens. Personally, we go here for inspiration for our own gardens. Expect to see hundreds if not thousands of different plants.
Blossom of Lights was so festive. The goggles are worth it. And we had great weather.
Amazing assortment of plants and awesome sights. Food was decent and not overpriced as well
It's a great place to walk around and enjoy the summer!
I went here when my family came to Denver to visit. Awesome and better than the botanical gardens in Florida!
I enjoyed visiting this place for holiday lights last year. I look forward to visiting this place again this summer.
They are very rude and they do not follow the ADA (American Disability Act). I had a face shield on so I can breath with my asthma. They told me they didn't care and I had to have a mask. I was told it is a private establishment and they may do what they please. I even told them they were discriminated against anyone with a breathing problem and they did not care. So be warned if you have a hard time breathing with a mask on due to an underlying condition you may not want to go because they do not care.
All the plants look dead. I think they forgot to water the past few days
Never new just how big it was. We spent the whole day. Had lunch there it was fantastic.
In my opinion, the most beautiful place in the city. Regardless of season, the botanic gardens are a mainstay in my family.
Wonderful place to visit or go to outdoor concerts.
A great place to get ideas for your home garden. Find what plants will grow here and great hardscape ideas. The concerts are great to attend as wells. Nationally know artists at great prices. The tickets sell out pretty quick.
Very diverse garden with a lot of interesting fauna and Flora.
Beautiful! Can easily spend hours at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
Such a beautiful place to visit. The dome was amazing, I didn't want to leave.
Stunning!!! I wish I lived in Denver so I could experience every season!
This is such a great place for almost all ages to visit. Parents with younger kids definitely bring a stroller. The gardens are exquisite and the volunteers are all friendly and knowledgeable. It is only $12.50 for adult admission. I had a sandwich and peach lemonade with oregano for lunch at Hive Garden Bistro and it was delicious! They don't serve a tiny bag of chips with the sandwich but a huge mound of kettle-cooked chips. I have been here in May and August and the gardens were amazing both times. I can't wait to visit this winter!
I love going to the gardens. Visually there is so much beauty to take in.
Even visiting in the winter, the place is beautiful. Much of the outdoor gardens had died back for the winter, but still held plenty of life and charm, and the tropical indoor gardens were stunning. I don't think I've ever seen so many fruiting plants so close together outside of an actual orchard.
They have their project plans very visibly posted, and it's fun to watch the place develop as they carry out their plans. The science pyramid was fun and interesting, a newer installment. All in all, it made for a wonderful date.
Denver Botanical gardens is one of my favorite places. My happy place! Went this time in the middle of April, a little early in the growing season to see their wealth of fabulous plants but still my place to peace out.
The gardens during the day are spectacular, literally any time of year. Worth a membership to just sit in the gardens and relax, or to watch the seasonal changes. A beautiful oasis in the city and very well maintained.
However, Blossoms of Light is pretty mediocre and, to me, not worth admission. It's the same lights everywhere just different colors. Only worth it if you have those optical glasses. I wish they'd change the layout or add more interesting pieces. Commission a local artist to create something. There was a lot of blank space and felt like a waste of $20.
My family tours the gardens several times a year and we enjoy as many of the wonderful events.
A truly amazing work of art. There are so many plants and flowers and structures here. Makes for a great walk with your significant other.
Gorgeous facility and always a lot going on. Many great art exhibits visit, but the gardens themselves are astounding and all inspiring. Highly recommend. We get an annual pass every year.
Japanese Tea Ceremony was sublime! Peaceful, informative and serene environment!
Well worth a trip. We spent almost a whole day there, and you'll need to if you're going to explore every bit of this incredibly well maintained and thought out garden.
The Blossom of Lights is definitely worth the trip. Gorgeous!!
Many of the plants had an explanation of history. Beautiful water features and gardens that were easy access. Plenty of resting areas.
Beautiful place and loved the layout. There are different garden styles or sections to explore. There's also a fabulous gift shop and restaurant in the garden. A lovely place to get lost in!
I was a bit disappointed. I wanted to know what the plants and flowers were as I walked through! Very few were labeled.
Great Location ,but i AM ABSOLUTELY AMAZED that they don't do anything for world plant conservation day. BS!
It was my first visit to the Denver Botanic Gardens. The whole property is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for an enjoyable afternoon, I would highly encourage you to visit! The gardens are plentiful and filled with gorgeous plants/flowers.
This is one of my favorite botanical gardens in the entire US. it reminds me of the Japanese gardens in the way they have the open yet closed layout. I also love the kids portion of the gardens that is built in nature yet designed for play. Definitely worth a visit
This is the most beautiful garden/ park we have seen so far in Denver. It's huge. You will spend good several hours here and won't even notice. Other visitors were very courteous and respected your space and follow social distancing. You need to buy your tickets in advance as they let just certain amount of visitors every 15 minutes. Not a big deal. And let me tell you, my family loved it.
It's nice to walk around the gardens even when it's hot outside. Some indoor spaces have some potent, relaxing A.C.. we saw bunnies, a turtle, lots of koi, chickadees and of course, lots of humans.
The gardens are beautifully curated and a rainforest dome in the winter is simply priceless
The gardens are open with a very limited number of reservations. Some areas are not planted yet or are in need of maintenance, but overall the gardens look great. I believe the volunteers will be allowed to go back to work soon so I suspect most of the minor issues will be fixed soon
I could live here. Such a serene and calming place. Might invest in the annual pass so I can come work here some days. Took the family when they were visiting. One of the major highlights of their trip to Denver. A must see. It s massive!
I've been to the Gardens in the winter and in spring, and they're beautiful. Great visit with kids.
Absolutely beautiful, and not to be missed in the winter! Their large tropical greenhouse has a lot to offer when the weather isn't great outside. We'll be back to see the seasons change here.
One of my favorite places in Denver to have a photo shoot at. I have a membership with them. One of the nice things about having it is that I can come on weekends 1 hour earlier then their hours and have a shoot there while there are no visitors around.
Beautiful that's all I have to say I recommend to go there and see for yourself, it's really nice
Super fun experience it's like a zoo for plants!!!!
Gorgeous gardens, took us a few hours to fully explore and I still don't think we saw everything. Lots of lovely and unique paths and themes.
Lovely spaces to wander and inspire you. Consider a weekday morning when it's quieter. Very romantic for a date.
Beautiful garden with a plants from a variety of regions and climates.Grounds are immaculate and well laid out. Staff is super friendly. Also a great place to work and catch some vitamin D at the Cafe.
Beautiful well maintained attraction..... Had a great time while there...
The gardens are amazing, but the line to pay at the succulent show was ridiculous. Not sure how anyone has time to wait 2 hours to pay for plants.
Wonderful place to get lost in. Definitely check out the bonsai exhibit.
There's a lot to see, more than what can be done in a day. Special events keep me coming back. Absolutely worth the annual pass if you plan to return with a guest more than once.
Amazing venue. Informative, beautiful, and quaint. My favorite place is the Japanese Garden ans Tea House. The food bank Garden is spectacular too. Seeing your food in its natural habitat is fun.
Denver Botanic Gardens is spectacular! The flowers and now the concerts amaze me.
Absolutely loved getting to see the Bonsai Pavillion this go around! Getting the annual membership is well worth the money, even with COVID19 practices in place!
Support your local gardens
Absolutely lovely and the Rose's smelled beautiful.
It was under serious construction and surrounded by unattractive buildings, which really detracted from the experience.
Beautiful garden no matter what time if the year. The Hive restaurant has terrific food and great hot chocolate in the winter.
Wish we had skipped the art Museum and just spent the whole day here. You could easily do that. It is beautiful in so many ways. I think my wife was saying it's beautiful every 5 minutes. And Happy wife, happy life. Heaven on earth - my wife told me to put that.
The Gardens never disappoint. It was rather warm when we were there, but plenty of places to sit in the shade. Saw lots of fish and a few friendly ducks. Late summer flowers still blooming. The enclosed areas are closed but bathrooms are open. A suggestion would be to install those fish/ duck food feeders so you could feed them.
Quite a nice place to spend 1.5 hours. It is not too big and easy to cover the entire place. Some nice places to sit and enjoy. We went in November so the vegetation was mostly done for the year. But the weather was great, upper 60 F. It looks like the holiday season is a great time to go as most of the main trees and shrubs are lit-up.
Its lovely from start to finish remember to take time sit for a while and just enjoy the day. There are plenty of spots to do just that
I've been here in the late fall and in the early summer, and it was gorgeous and worth the trip both times.
Beautifully crafted gardens. Excellent programs and service. Easy convenient parking too!!
Was not aware of the children's section!! Had a beautiful time with our babies!!
Excellent: one of the best botanical gardens to which I have EVER been. Don't be a fool: go visit it rather than checking out the mid-grade zoo, for instance.
