I absolutely love coming here. There's so many different plants to see, both indoor and outdoors. They do a good job of labeling which plant is which too.

Amazingly nice for this time of year! Delightfully impressed! Orchids were FANTASTIC!
November is probably not the right time to visit. Greenhouse plants weren't too interesting either. Pleasant staff though.
Fairly limited, compared to botanical gardens nationally and beyond. It follows a fairly narrow scope of most samples and specimens, and the barley repressed "preachiness" is hard to ignore.
A beautiful place for picture, great views, and peaceful.
My best friend and I went today for the free day and spring sale. It was loads of fun and absolutely stunning. We got in and out in about an hour and a half and will be back on a paid day to have a more relaxing visit. Overall a great experience every single time.
My experience was breathe taking. Everything was beautiful and vivid in every color!!!!
Such beautiful gardens with huge variety. Worth it!
It was our fist visit to the gardens. Will not be our last.
Well made botanical garden. Very lovely place to visit.
One of the nicest places inside the city of Denver. Plenty of areas to sit and enjoy all the surroundings the gardens has to offer.
Never got in. If you go, try to make sure you are there first thing in the morning to insure you get parking, or go during the week days.
There is s lot to see and do here. A great way to spent the afternoon in Denver.
Calm place. Love coming for special events or just because I need a time out to get grounded in a serene place.
I will disclose that I have never been to the botanical gardens, at least not yet. My review is strictly on a customer service basis. I recently contacted the botanical gardens in regards to proposing to the love of my life there and asking if there s any possibility for having access to it prior to the general public.
The direct response was a hard no . Due to not being able to have security staffing any earlier, etc. It s very interesting to me that there is this insane debate about not needing/allowing security at public schools and yet it is not possible to allow two people Into a oversized garden to do something monumentally important. Use this information as you wish.
The Gardens are one of those places we should go to more often. Always fun when we do.
Such a treat! Relaxing, beautiful! Great venues for events!
My girlfriend says we should go here with our kids. I just want to get high and see cool flowers
The lights were delightful! We went later in the evening so the crowds were manageable. The interactive display at the end was spectacular! I thought it would have been nice to have music but always interesting to listening to others comments.
A unique experience. Where you can enjoy the beauty and serenity of Nature. Unmissable!
Perfect date if you are both outdoorsy :) Definitely take a picture by the lily poud!
Pretty gardens and fun events, if you buy anything here it has a tremendous markup.
Free admission in Wednesday! Pretty big. A lot to see.
Such a beautiful space. We had a lovey time here on a Saturday afternoon. Not too crowded and most people adhered to COVID precautious the whole time.
Fun day at the spring plant sale. Great options. We only picked up a few things for our veggie garden. Great selection of succulents and Alpine plants.
So relaxing and scenic views. If your feeling adventurous and looking to see different colors this is the place for bliss , relaxation. Will be returning soon.
Beautiful gardens. We had the unfortunate timing to visit after a snow storm, but was still enjoyable to walk around and see all the sights.
My wife and I have been members for 30+ years. Our favorite place in Denver.
It was a lovely experience, and i came out to explore the garden because today was a free day, but i will definately be back for more.
It's a nice stroll through some beautiful scenery and even water features
Gorgeous gardens! We love coming here so much we bought the season pass, its worth it if you like to go often! Don't miss the rainforest jungle area!
Also, the food at the cafe is surprisingly good, and the portions are big! Unfortunately the prices at the cafe are way too expensive, but the money supports the gardens, so it feels okay.
Can't wait to come back!
Really pretty and not overwhelming. Lots of areas to explore and little side paths. Great for my kids. The sculpture program was an added bonus.
I belong the CSA and I get food and flowers from the gardens. The best way to to spend any extra time you have in Denver.
Very well done garden, observatory and the orchid garden are worth a visit.
Gorgeous botanical garden! We've visited during the summer and at Christmas time and both experiences are beautiful and amazing! :)
Gorgeous and relaxing- wish I could be here all the time
Love this place and going at Halloween and Christmas time.
The garden is hugh! We went during winter but it may be better to go in summer to see more flowers. However, it was still very pretty in the winter. They also have a pretty nice gift shop.
Vibrant sights and you can read a book in the shade or sun among many benches, some more hidden than others. Great for day time kids activity, or a chill date.
An excellent gardens to see plants that grow in Denver. Well laid out. Nice displays.
Denver Botanic Gardens continues to improve and delight with their wonderful and educational gardens. Growing up in Denver I lived very near DBG and have seen how they have evolved over time. I have very fond memories of some of the programs they offered to youth when I was young which instilled a lifelong love of all growing plants. DBG has much more to offer than a stroll through the gardens although that alone is amazing. They offer so many amazing educational and creative opportunities. I ve moved far from the metro area but still travel to DBG to enjoy it as often as I can.
I was only able to visit the tropical conservatory as we were up there for a steampunk event. From every thing I saw, the place was lovely. I would love to take a day and wander everything.
Really lovely and pleasantly sized botanic gardens. It is easy to walk the whole park in a few short hours. Wide variety in garden styles and plenty of tables and shade to enjoy a picnic in.
My friend and I went on a Saturday in July and it was okay. Not as many flowers as we though there would be and a ton of plants. We expected it to be busy but there were like 3 wedding going on so there was a lot blocked off. If I go again it will probably only be for a special even they're doing so I know there will be more to see and do.
this place was just so beautiful, pictures don't do it justice. I enjoyed the scenery and the peacefulness of it. I wish I was a local because I would practically be here every day! nice place to just get away from everything for awhile, very peaceful. I also went into their little shop before leaving and got a really cute dish go out jewlery in!
Wow! I was surprised how pleasant and varied these gardens are. Really a gem for Denver.
This place is always fun, well maintained and a great place for a date or to take your kids / family.
When I searched for Denver sightseeing, it was ranked number one, and the place to take my kids was not suitable, so I went there. As winter entered, the outdoors plants had little to see. Indoor greenhouses are good, but compared to botanical gardens in New York or Washington, they are just so. In fact, even compared to the botanical gardens in Seoul or Jeju Island in Korea, it is not so good. It seems that the nearby zoo is much better for the price.
This place is great, whether you have a free hours or all day. We have the annual pass so we come about once a month and it's always changing.
Very cool spot for Botany geeks like myself or anyone else. Take the family, your date or friend and you could spend a whole day there if you like. Lots of different plant varieties from all over the world, with all sorts of rotating attractions such as bonsai exhibits. Really awesome in December when they decorate the whole place with Christmas lights!
Great botanical garden and way bigger then we expected
Really nice and diverse garden, $12 entry for visitor.
Any time of year love going to the Botanica Gardens, yes it can get busy but what do you expect everywhere in Denver has gotten busy, if you don't like that move back to where you moved from. (And if your local your home value is probably 3x more now)
I'll admit I had to take off my mask to smell the floral.
So beautiful I wish I could of come later in the year when everything was in bloom outside. But the indoor areas were beautiful and they had really good signage so you could se what things are.
Gardens are beautiful and there is a lot of cool information to read. I love the tropical area and the local Colorado plants and flowers. The grounds are clean, set up nicely and have cool water features. Brought my family was visiting out-of-town and they loved it. I would definitely recommend this place as somewhere to bring family or anyone who appreciates nature but doesn't want to leave the city.
Really a fantastic garden space. Visiting in the Spring is ideal, with so many blooming plants. I've been to many botanical gardens in the US, and this is maybe tied for first with Philly's Longwood. Great variety of plants, really lovely natural settings for each category/region of plants, excellent signage. The layout encourages wandering on your own path, and there's always something new to discover.
Huge, diverse, and beautiful. Plan to spend a whole day exploring this garden--or plan to come back!
It was really great to see all of the different ways that they made it safe for use to go there
Beautiful in winter. Can't wait to go back in the summer.
Very nice place . The Denver Botanic Gardens is a public botanical garden located in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The 23-acre (93,000 m2) park contains a conservatory, a variety of theme gardens and a sunken amphitheater, which hosts various concerts in the summer.
We thought $34 might be a waste to walk through with our kids at closing time. As it turns out, the "golden hour" was perfect, and we had the park almost entirely to ourselves.
Love, love, love the gardens! I could go every day and not get tired of it!
Came on a Wednesday, early evening. Perfect because the crowds are pretty minimal. Definitely gives you time to enjoy the scenery and all of the beautiful flowers and gardens. Don't forget to occassionally pull your mask low enough to smell the flowers- it's pleasant (because more oxygen ) and adds to your experience. Also, watch out for little mice- they are really running around out there . If you want a quick getaway from the city life without going too far, spend some time here.
This little plot of heaven on earth rules. Today, 09 January, when much of the outside greenery is not, walking this lovely garden is still a treat and going indoors to the tropical conservatories is dessert. The lovely women and the awesome men who staff DBG are patient and kind beyond belief, and I would pay double my membership fee gladly because the pleasure to be found there is priceless.
Go around Christmas. They have amazing light decorations.
