It was a nice way to spend the afternoon. I felt like some of the exhibits such as the science pyramid didn't blow my hair back. The water pools were probably the highlight for me. Felt that the grounds could be much more manicured and well kept as have been to free gardens that were more maintained. If I lived in the area and could get a cheap seasons pass I could see going now and then.

Beautiful offering and well laid out grounds with thoughtful landscaping and integration of multiple design styles appropriate to the plants featured in a given area. Love the use of water and conservation education throughout.

We have gone to Denver botanical gardens for free days, regular days and Christmas light shows. We absolutely love it! Our favorite event was the chihuly exhibits, all the glass work simply takes your breath away! The light show is a winter wonderland and well worth a visit. The children's area is perfect for all ages. It is a must see when visiting Colorado!

It's wonderful if can visit Botanic Garden on a sunny day. Wonderful gardens that have been remodeled and improved, beautiful flowers, green grass with secluded areas to have a quiet time in the shade by the creeks and ponds.
Pictures are just gorgeous there and had much enjoyable time.

Beautiful place to spend several hours strolling around. Open 9 am - 5 pm (or 8 pm 5/14-9/24) . Cost $12:50 adult. Stunning flowers. Cool sculptures. Lots of benches to sit and relax. Good food at 'Offshoots' cafe. Highly recommend. Btw parking pretty full on the day I came (it was gorgeous and sunny) but I didn't have to wait too long for someone to leave and a space become available.

This place is extraordinary. My wife and I are from out of town and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Denver Botanic Gardens. It is large enough to spend an hour or two, or bring a book and read in one of their quiet areas with a bench. It smells fantastic, has a great little conservatory and was filled with beauty. We would be members if we lived in CO.

A beautiful place for a short or longer visit. Indoor tropical garden is a great option in less ideal weather, or for some shade in the summer. Denver Botanic Gardens is involved in and also leads local environmental and preservation programs. Extensive community education program also available. Mordecai Children's garden allows kids an incredible learning experience. Too much to say, so little space...

A few bucks for a beautiful day of colors, scents and strolls? Can't go wrong here with the family or a date. Even bring a book and relax solo! Plus, you're supporting a great Denver institution.

This place is huge and awesome! There are lots of spots to sit and read/relax... lots of different, well-made and landscaped gardens... and a cool spot where they sometimes have music and stuff. I loved the rainforest room!

My favorite place in Denver! The gardens are phenomenal, and the programs and exhibits for children are fun, informative, and engaging. My mother brought me to the Denver Botanic Gardens throughout my childhood, and I am delighted to continue the tradition with my own son. A truly wonderful place.

This place is gorgeous! The plants and flowers create a very calming environment, perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of Denver. The small cafe also has very good drinks and food. Overall, highly recommend this place!

Absolutely incredible for anyone and everyone to visit the Gardenst! It is such a breath-taking botanical feat to have such a vast accumulation of plant species, creating little ecosystems that transport you to another place. The botanic gardens are a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. They do a lot of work to keep all types of plants alive and beautiful. The selection of areas to walk through are vast and the no dog rule gives a nice break away from people's unruly animals.

Their yearly Blossoms of Light is a great pre-Christmas tradition: bundle up and buy a hot chocolate to keep your hands warm! When the plants are in season, the place is just wonderful. It's so nice that they have something for every season.

While in Denver this past summer we visited these gardens which are very near the heart of downtown. Very impressive landscaping with many different plant families grouped in their favorite environmental setting. The huge greenhouse was awesome with many tropicals growing all the way to the ceiling. Would love to go there in the fall or spring, but the summer blooms were beautiful.

When traveling I love to go see the towns botanical gardens. I loved all the Japanese landscapes and water features. During this time of year a lot of the plants were dying or already dead, due to the freeze, so some of the paths were closed.

I love Denver Botanic Gardens. It's a relaxing and beautiful way to spend a spring or fall afternoon or a summer evening. It's fun to go every month to watch how everything changes with the seasons. There's even a children's garden too, where kiddos can play and enjoy native plant life from around the state of Colorado.

While the gardens are expansive, the winter exhibits lacked luster. Seeing the cocoa beans growing was a highlight. Many evergreens that probably look much better in growing season. Improvements underwaybut lacking pizazz from my point of view.

Gorgeous area down town Denver... The flowers are beautiful and the architecture is fantastic. It's a great place for a nice quiet still with a loved one or just by yourself to get some quiet reflection. The staff of volunteers does a fantastic job keeping the place up as well as trying to keep everything ecologically pure.

We love the Denver Botanic Gardens! The Gardens are beautiful and well kept. We have been members on and off through the years, it's money well spent. We also pay the extra cost to get a gate "key fob," which allows us to go in and out of the west gate, into Cheesman Park. We live on the west side of Cheesman Park, which is located along the west side of the Denver Botanic Gardens. From Cheesman Park, we can enter the Denver Botanic Gardens, of course, only during business hours. Anyway we live walking through the Gardens throughout the year, seeing th gardens change with the Colorado seasons. The parking is free. Classes are held throughout the year. The summer concert series is excellent. The restaurant has a nice selection of food. Everything about the Denver Botanic Gardens is top notch. Check them out, won't you?
