Staff is always nice and the food selection there is very high quality and plentiful. Bakery items are always good and changes from time to time so it s a nice surprise every time I go in. If it wasn t for being smack in the middle of downtown I would shop there for sure. Location kind of sucks but if you live nearby it s worth it

Great store -- shitty location. Cleveland residents finally have a nice grocery store, and they decide to put it in the middle of busy downtown, where you'll be stuck in traffic if there's special events going on -- and good luck finding parking! No street parking available and if there's an event you'll have to pay $30 to park in any nearby lot -- just to get some groceries! It's like trying to reach a mirage in the desert. This store is more of a novelty than a practical resource for Cleveland residents. So disappointing.

A stunning architectural marvel. Climb to the top for a magnificent overhead view of the remodeled rotunda. Beautiful murals adorn the facade below the breath taking glass ceiling. Oh it's also a grocery store.

This is one of the best examples of adaptive reuse of a historic building I have ever seen. Built on the early 1900s for the Cleveland Trust Company, this building has an amazing a Tiffany-style dome, murals, and sculpture.

I cannot imagine ever stepping foot into a cooler grocery store. There are places to sit in the rotunda and on the upper levels overlooking the middle. The wine selection is top notch and there is a good variety of food including some more upscale products. Prices are not bad considering the location.

If you are looking to kill time in downtown, I recommend grabbing a cappuccino at the coffee bar and people watching from the second level couches.

I will not support a business that opposes environmental laws by citing it is bad for their bottom line. Tell that to Whole Foods and Trader Joe s, which is where I will shop! If they change their policies, I ll return to Heinens, but I can t in good faith support a business that puts profits over our environment and our health.

The wine tasting upstairs is a blast solo, in a party, or as a couple. Peter and Candice are exceptional hosts and very knowledgeable about pairings and wines of every price and region. The deli and store downstairs are as excellent as one expects from this family chain. What a lovely place to spend an afternoon or evening.

There's a large variety of stores to shop at but Heinen's rises above all of them, especially the one on East 9th and Euclid Ave. A friend of mine has been shopping at this great place and I finally went with them. I was truly amaze at the shopping experience in this clean, refreshing, and friendly store. The produce, groceries, bakery, seafood, meats, coffee, deli meats, prepared foods and salad bar all have a great variety to choose from.
Each department you go to the staff is friendly and have customer service that was beyond my expectation. You must go at lunch time and check out the different cooking or prepared food stations that offer great lunch and meal options. One last thing we order food for our office through the catering department, it was quick and easy and also good

Terrible service. Gave food to my to my niece to start eating after I paid for it and got stopped by security on the way out when I spent $50 just on some shrimp and some cut up fruit alone oh, absolutely the rudest and most ridiculous security I've ever encountered will never never come back again! Extremely disappointed by a heinen'sI have never had a bad experience ever in a heinen's this will be the first for this one and this will be the last as well.

The Heinen's in downtown Cleveland is unique, having been built inside the old shell of the Cleveland Trust building. The second floor has an alcohol gallery, and the first floor has a variety of fresh food. The grocery aisles are somewhat limited due to space, but are usually sufficient for most grocery needs.

Very beautiful, old building. Used to be the Cleveland Trust Co. It's clean, well run, and only a ten minute walk from CSU campus. Very convenient for a midday meal. Also a lovely place to admire architecture and design.

Salad bar was excellent when store opened but not anymore. I usually have to ask them to get Caesar dressing. Today at 11.30am they were out of croutons. Asked the lady behind the bar to get some. They were out of them was reply. Its a grocery store. Not a crouton in the place. Really? At height of lunch there are rarely enough cashiers at stations and store manager is usually standing in rotunda talking and apparently oblivious. No longer worth going.

Good healthy food. I bought a cheese cake from a crumpy bakery worker. She sliced three strawberries and charged me $5.00 extra. I asked for a strawberry glaze like the cakes with cheery glaze. A very rare encounter.

I worked for the old Cleveland Trust and Ameritrust in the Ninth & Euclid complex. So seeing the former bank as a grocery store was weird at best. Unique but weird. Historic building now a grocery.!!! Sad !!!!!

A beautiful historic building to see and a great store to visit. You can do wine samples or by the glass with their self pour machines. We had lunch here also. Theres a huge selection of foods in the salad bar, soups and made to order areas as well as deserts. Prices were reasonable too

This is exactly what downtown Cleveland needed! A large scale grocery store to accommodate the residents of the up and coming downtown area. The former Cleveland Trust Rotunda Building has amazing architecture. I like what Heinen's has done with it.

The variety of ethnic foods is what I enjoy about it. A great place for the average Cleveland foodie to stop in to. Prices are okay and on par with what you would expect at any Heinen's store.

Food is delicious and attention is good too, but if you look up and around yourself at the deli, you will be blown away by the dome atop the former Cleveland Bank. Something you don't see every day when grocery shopping.

Recently discovered the downtown Cleveland one and it instantly became one of our favorite places to relax and enjoy the wine tasting upstairs. UNTIL they began the remodeling! Taking away the booths facing the railing and artwork is very disappointing It now feels cold and uninviting! The wine racks now are very tall and block the beautiful views. We will definitely be visiting much less often!

What a unique setting! A re-purposed bank turned into a grocery store, kind of a cross between a Wegman's & a Whole Foods! From the second floor balcony, you can sip wine, beer or cocktails while watching the activity below. They have a happy hour! I was staying at a local hotel for a wedding & purchased enough quality, pre-made food (tri-tip with garlic & black bean sauce) to eat very well back at my room. Check it out!

This Heinens does the BEST cakes ever! The buttercream is out of this world!

One thing - this store is NOT for driving to. This is a downtown living, walking to store. If you want to try and drive here, be aware that parking is at a premium. There is valet parking, and there is a dedicated lot for the store, but good luck finding parking. This is an urban supermarket, designed for downtown living and quick trips - perfect if you live and/or work downtown.
