Heinen's Review

This new Heinen's is spectacular. It's such an odd place for a super market. The bakery, meat, fish, prepared foods, they're all super awesome. Come in to have a look, if nothing else.

Hot & cold food bar always freshly stocked. Great place for lunch!

Walk to this location for lunch often. Love the sushi and rice bowls. Always clean and service is friendly. Glad they opened one in downtown Cleveland.

Wonderful place for food and wine with an attached grocery store and supermarket. The building is beautiful and quiet and was relatively easy to navigate. The bathroom however is in an inconvenient space on the second floor. Overall a fantastic experience.

Love the intricate work that went into restoring this historic space. The prepared foods are great and the grocery has all the essentials despite the small space.

First time here at Heinen's and will definitely remember to come back next time I am in Cleveland. Fantastic self serve sushi bar, beer on draft, self serve wine by the glass and a great assortment of other ready to eat meals in a cafeteria setting mixed in to their grocery store.

Great staff, I go here multiple times a week for lunch, and they have lots of different options, always fresh and always healthy.

Beautiful restored bank changed to grocery store. Great food, limited grocery selection, large wine selection. Great staff always friendly. Only suggestion would be to inform staff about products, events.

Such a beautiful store. Don't ask them to cut you a thick piece of cheese though, not one of their deli people understand the concept of "I want to cut it into cubes later" I'm not sure why that's difficult, but it's been like six times now.

This must be the fanciest grocery store in N. America!

I was blown away - AWESOME market, covering the basics and so much more. I've never had "vegan mandarain chicken nuggets" but - I thoroughly enjoyed them!
Across the street from the Kimpton hotel and adjacent to Playhouse Square, this place needs to be on your list of "Must See" when in Cleveland.

Great store! I loved all the options for fresh good food. It's got everything for the local or the traveler and ambience you can't pass up. I think I'd rather go there for a drink after work with friends than most other places.

OMG! So they took this old bank building (dude when you go in go to the middle and look up) and turned it into a most excellent----i'm not sure what to call it. Store, butcher,wine, deserts, fresh produce, dinnertogo, seafood all inside this beautiful building.

That store is the most beautiful grocery store I have ever been to. The people are friendly and they have a great beer selection.

I never thought I'd spend a couple hours in a grocery store. This place has groceries, salad bar, sushi bar, hot soup, pastries, etc. they also have great wine tasting upstairs.

The most beautiful grocery store I've ever seen. Stop in for a craft beer or a glass of wine and take in the views of one of downtown Cleveland's architectural gems.

I absolutely love this place and always try to sneak in a visit when I see a show at Playhouse Square. The grocery side is incredibly convenient and the food bars are really diverse and nutritious. Go upstairs and you have a wine and cheese bar. I was impressed to see that they added Kombucha on tap. Of course the interior of the building is so stunning!

The most gorgeous grocery store I've ever seen! I bought the prepared sushi. Super fresh, delicious, and affordable. 10/10 would come back.

Best place for verity and hard to find items with fresh meats. Beef, Chicken, fish, clams, oister, and great wine selection with tasting.

I can't say enough about the flagship Heinen's. The Rotunda (a former bank) is a work in itself. Mind you, the grocery aisles are smaller than your typical supermarket, but for the Downtown residents and workers that's just fine. Discounted parking is available (yes, it is) just a block west at the 740 Euclid Ave Garage.

It's great to see a grocery in downtown. It's very convenient. Building is beautiful as well.

Heinens is always clean, has great selection, and great service. Working downtown I love to go there for lunch or after work for the happy hour!

Atmosphere is incredible! Service was very good, nice helpful folks. Food was good. Beer selection was good and reasonable in price. Wine selection and self serve was also a very fun idea.

Fun spot! We headed right up stairs for a private wine and cheese tasting. They handled our group very well and all were pleased. The self-serve was awesome! Really a great way to taste wine!

The soups are very flavorful! And I honestly have dreams about the bakery's pecan rolls!

Great to have downtown, but a fairly limited grocery and sundry selection compared to the typical Heinens. However, there is a much greater prepared food and wine offering.

Self serve wine tasting!!!! Great selection of wines from which to choose -- from tasting wines I would actually buy ($10-$50 range) to tasting wines I would likely never try otherwise ($100-$250 range). Amazing.

Great variety! If you are looking for something special, it's there.

This is the best grocery store in Ohio. Housed in a historic bank building, the selection of groceries, bakery items and wine is phenomenal. Plus they are open until 9 pm on Sunday! I will stop here during every trip I make to Cleveland.

We decided to finally stop in and check out Thirsty Thursday at Heinens. What a pleasant and different experience! The rotunda upstairs has an extensive selection of wine and beer. The wine stations allow you to taste wines for a small fee and there are taps for amazing craft beer. The favorite tonight was Vedette. A white ale local to Ohio. There is also a snack bar with various food selections and a Thursday $3 appetizer special. A nice destination for after work, or just an inexpensive date. Try it.

Cool building. It's a converted bank. You can get fresh food, hot and cold, as well as your normal food Staples.

Great downtown store. Grocer is small compared to a supermarket, but seems to take advantage of the space they have. Cafeteria is a good place for a quick lunch.

Good place to go for a snack or quick bite before a show. But sometime the startto close down the food service stations before the posted closing time and its hard to order what you want.

Upscale grocery and eatery right in the heart of downtown. Wide range of products like fresh produce, flower, meat, bakery and wine. Ambient place with beautiful high ceiling hall. Cozy place to sit, study or meet up with a friend. I get all my grocery here. Prices are a bit on the higher end though.
