okay. Nothing wrong, but Zimmer has been around for a few years.
In good vicinity of Heathrow, a confortable stay, nice food as well.
It's actually located in Slough on dhitton road. So I guess there is a faint aquantance with Heathrow and Windsor even though Slough is closer and Heathrow a million miles away. Pleasent friendly staff nice areas for coffee
Booked and parking was extra. I forgot to check that. Everything was as expected. Nothing to fault. Didn't use the hotel much.
Swimming pool not working, but was offered 25% off food and drink as compensation...which is fine if you intend to eat there....we didn't.
Rooms dated and not enough towels, only 2 large towel for 3 occupnants. You had to run around in the shower to get wet as well....so just as well we had no towels.
There was what can only be described as a jet engine noise coming from the air con even though it was off. This went off at about 2am and came back on at 5am....Thanks!
On the plus side, the breakfast is pretty good...plenty of choice and quite tasty.
Beds fairly comfortable but pillows are way too soft...but I am very fussy with pillows so you may be alright.
If you want a night before you fly from Heathrow then this is not a bad place, but could be remarkably improved with some fairly minor changes. That said, there are cheaper alternatives with no pool so if you want the pool as I did, then make sure it is functional before you book.
There are better alternatives out there, so buyer beware....but as I say not top notch, but not a catastrophe either.
Gym facilities are one of the best I've seen. Very clean. Staff permanently on hand. Great steam room. Easy to get to location wise. Would highly recommend.
From the welcoming smile of Rupi and the other Marriott Angels on front desk to Abdul (the man who turns being a concierge into an art form), the staff are key to making this hotel be more than just another business trip layover.
Cleevan and Yogendra are ever present and if you need anything, then just ask... there is rarely anything these guys can't or won't do for you in what is an impressive example of a customer first approach.
Great work Marriott Heathrow / Windsor!
Nice classic hotel
A bit worn but the staff makes up for this.
The breakfast is typical English with a large selection of pastry fruits and cereals.
A big plus point is the gym area with an indoor pool and a large bright modern gym area.
The TV sets are modern and can be paired with any smartphone via wifi.
Otherwise, unfortunately, no channels outside GB.
Friendly staff, very keen to help and want guests to have a good time
Good value, great food, friendly staff, large comfortable room.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff. The rooms are a bit on the warm side though even in the winter.
Great hotel, spacious lobby. Not noisy as its close to Heathrow
The location of the hotel is not the best . It's far from everything by bus took me 1 hour to go to Hounslow. The food is nice .better than other uk hotels standards . No free WiFi for guests though . You have to spend 15 pounds at least to avail for free WiFi.
Lovely place for a wedding reception with very attentive staff although the drinks are very pricey.
Standards are slipping.Noticed on this latest visit compared with about 12 months ago.We normally stop here before going abroad as prices are reasonable but will look elsewhere from now on.Breakfast has slipped not as food the bacon was very poor quality cutting costs doesn't always work.Lady on reception didn't answer our questions properly caused confusion whilst this is not that important the breakfast quality is.
Great place for events, well organised and great service for all ages. The staff could achieve anything if the worked more as a team.
Met with friends to watch the football staff were very polite and helpful.
It's ok. Staff are helpful. BUT.....It's a bit dated. Like everything in life - you get what you pay for. Saying that it's ok for the odd night and a couple of beers.
Stopped off for buffett breakfast on the way to Ascot Ladies Day Food was good and plentiful service lacking, bit disorganized e.g.no side plates no butter no knives to cut the cheese
Lovely hotel, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Lovely Easter theme going on too for the children. Rooms nice and clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Pleasant stay all round.
Good hotel close to Heathrow airport. Have to pay for the shuttle bus to and fro from the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing in the vicinity of the hotel but a couple of pubs and Indian restaurants so not many options for food. Good for short stay
Very disappointing. I was booked in by a Legoland agent and was told that this was a 4 star hotel. On arrival the reception area was very impressive and the staff seemed quite friendly. I was given the key to my room which was standard, noting out of the ordinary and certainly not in my opinion 4 star. A spider which looked dead was hanging from the ceiling. The TV kept switching itself off. The sink to wash my hands etc was blocked and the towel in the bathroom wasn't washed but still dirty and another smelt of urine. To make matters worse for the time myself and daughter entered the room we where itching until we left and to top it all I had to chase a cot that had been previously booked and should have been in the room on arrival. The pool looked nothing like it did on Google and the Marriotts website and I was only made aware on trying to enter that I needed to book a slot in advance. Be warned that if you have a toddler or younger there is no nappy bin supplied in the room so you will need to call a porter to come and take away the nappies each time unless you want a smelly room.
The only reason I have it 2 stars was because of the breakfast buffet which was very impressive as was the seating area to eat. I will say avoid the scrambled egg unless you like it in the form of porridge, it was so gooey I just couldn't eat it.
I definitely wouldn't return.
Nice place, very nice and helpfull staff and people.
There for a Christmas party, not allowed on dance floor without shoes :) some friends had sore feet from shoes that they wore. So stricted on dances - not good.
There was trash on the floor of the room, but the bed is good.
The staff is wonderful. The hotel is in desperate need of updates, total 90s.
Pleasant check in. Over priced bar/restaurant (13.99 for a fish finger sandwich??) So went to Harvester down the road. Our bath had a huge ball of hair in it - apparently all the cleaning staff had gone off duty so they wanted us to change rooms! Couldn't be bothered with such hassle so they found us a cleaner and offered complimentary glasses of wine . That arrived 45 minutes later when we were dozing off, so not very impressive . I probably won't come again, which is a shame as I am a frequent traveller
Every thing seems so perfect......how can that be, I tried hard but could not find a flaw...
Its was a nice overnight stay
I think the wifi charge could be more clearer and written larger.
The welcome pack should be placed in a more obvious place in the rooms and not all over the place in drawers
This would allow easier accessibility to prices, information etc.
I think we were change double for breakfast by mistake But I Cant be sure as the electronic receipt is not that clear with costing
We pain a.seperate package for breakfast and parking.
And the breakfast was deducted from the deposit too.
Staff are accomodating, polite and friendly
Our rooms were spacious and clean.
Room service was great.
Very wheelchair friendly.
A few changes needed but mostly happy with stay.
Stayed here twice nice spacious rooms friendly staff and food is well nice
Is an old hotel which has all the facilities like swimming pool, sauna restaurant . Nice English breakfast and helpful staff . You will have all the confort and space in the room. Pay attention at the acces key all the time, if you keep it next to the phone is getting inaccessible. The tv cannot be connected to your i pad or phone so you need to call the technical department and bring the apple remote. Is quite and friendly.
Good you are the first thing that you know what you know if I am looking forward to be a few days and I
Management unwilling to take responsibility for phones, electricity Etc not working. I was charged $33 pounds for a failed phone call because their phone are 50 plus years old and broken. Disconnected due to speaker not staying in phone and phone falling out of the wall due to aged cords. (They likely cost $20 for a new phone)
Dear manager, with what you charged me, please replace the room in room 117. This failure cost me lots of time and $150 plus the $33 phone call.
Future guests, there has to be a nicer hotel with management who cares about facilities and guests... right?
I am a 55 year old woman and well- traveled. Fortunately, this is my first negative experience with Marriott.
All my Marriott exec friends will hear this story!
I was getting married near this hotel and chose this hotel as the one to stay at to get ready before my wedding and regret doing so. The decor was dated and I was told that my room had been 'upgraded' to an 'Executive Room' which was smaller than the room i initially booked. The sleep quality is bad with the pillows being ultra soft and the breakfast was poor. What was the most shocking was that in a room with two people, we were only given one bottle of water, one robe and no slippers that were supposed to be there.
Nice hotel, attentive staff and the food was nice. Bar was overpriced though so if you can, take your own alcohol.
Rooms are a great size, beds are comfortable, food is decent and hotel staff are thoughtful. Conference facilities are extensive.
Its not a grt place to stay i would not recommend.still they charge you15 pound for internet.
Nice hotel, good location for London Heathrow. Good location for air port long stay parking. Friendly and helpful staff.
Nice cozy beds, friendly staff, very nice "Brew bar" and superb gym. Food could have more options but that is no problem when it comes to the drinks.
Excellent service staff helpful. Breakfast had everything you need and more. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Building may be old, but it's a great hotel. Fantastic service, good sport facilities. Definitely will stay again.
Great hotel. Amazing service. Minus one star because the package in the website is so tricky and it made me missed the breakfast deal!
Great family hotel. Clean and comfortable with an amazing breakfast. Good value stay and the hotel staff were really helpful and personable.
Great open car park, the reception is also very welcoming and a nice warm atmosphere within the hotel.
Nice and clean. Breakfast is fantastic. Service staff are quite nice. Only thing is that the soundproof is not good, there was someone knocking on the door opposite to our room many times through one night and we were waken up several times.
Was not staying at the hotel but for a meeting. Found it very good and was looked after by really nice staff.
I would give them a 5 star simply because the staff are really great and helpful .. the bed is of course always comfy... quiet place to rest ...
Very expensive parking but otherwise nice enough hotel
Absolute pleasure to stay here whilst we were visiting LEGOLAND and Windsor Castle. Fantastic restaurant and other amenities including gym, swim spa, sauna and steam room. There was a bar area which we didn't venture into but looked nice and reserved. Will definatly stay here next time we visit LEGOLAND or go abroad as they do airport parking too.
Fantastic staff hotel always clean and tidy and room very comfortable
Good hotel with friendly staff. Comfortable beds with a spacious room and very clean. Breakfast was tasty and great value.
Visited to look at the suites for hire for a wedding reception. Turned up without notice and staff member was very accommodating. Checked to see if the rooms were in use and took us to visit them, gave us all the information we needed and let us take lots of pictures so we could compare with other venues.
The service is fantastic, but the hotel itself is a dated. Hallways smell a bit dank and the room furniture a bit old.
Marriot windsor hotel
Near heathrow airport
Parking space available
Facilities include free wifi, breakfast
Gym
Swimming pool
Sauna
Really nice staff, rooms are ok, excellent gym , pretty poor room service
Have ur 3 star for location. Unless you have a flight, no point of staying here, far from city center
Helpful staff and comfortable beds. The children enjoyed the swimming pool
