After touring homes from so many builders we looked at a Hearthside Home. The quality and attention to detail Hearthside s reputation has earned can be truly felt when you see one. My husband and I built the Cambridge 2 with Hearthside and we absolutely love it! The whole process was great. We enjoyed being able to sit down to pick out the colors, tiles, hardwood, stone, lighting everything. Everyone was so great to work with and so nice.

The price at which you get to build a semi customized home is also a huge plus.

Home building can be a trying process with unknown delays possible. Hearthside has a terrific system allowing you real time updates and online access on how the home building is progressing. As a project manager I found this very impressive.

We purchased our Hearthside home in August and could not be happier. We put the offer on the home part way through the building process and were still able to choose our options for finishes. When you say "Hearthside Homes" people always say great things about them and love their home. Our recent experience with this builder really confirms what people say...This was our first home purchase and I couldn't recommend a better builder than Hearthside Homes. The whole process from customizing the "final touches", buying, closing, and getting settled into the home has been great. Jamie, the builder's realtor, was very helpful answering questions and concerns. Their Brentwood office was open 7 days a week and they were there when we needed them. Their quality of work and hardware finishes are attractive and excellent quality.
We only have lived in our new home for about 3 weeks. Any small issue that arose, they were there to fix it fast. This was even before the 60 day and 11 month "warranty walkthrough". So far, my wife and I are very impressed with this builder and love our new home. Thank you!

My husband and I just moved into the Chapel Ridge subdivision, and we absolutely love it!
We were actually going to buy on the other side of the neighborhood but it didn t work out, we went house hunting knew we wanted to be in Chapel Ridge but we also looked in other neighborhoods as well to keep our options opened, we did keep coming back to Chapel Ridge and we found our home! My husband and I knew we wanted an HOA along with everything it has offered, as well as being close to the schools for our daughter once she is old enough to attend. We love the layout, Mike and Emily were wonderful during our walk through and answered all questions we could think of. Hearthside homes has been very responsive with phone calls and along with the numbers they provided in our book.

My wife and I truly enjoyed the purchase of our new home. We found Hearthside Homes to be easy to work with all the way through the purchase and through the closing. The house is well constructed and all the people we met were eager to make us happy. Mike did a great job of welcoming us and showing us around.

My husband and I just moved into our new home that we custom built with Hearthside Homes. We originally fell in love with another home built by a competitor builder. However each neighborhood we looked into people kept discussing Hearthside and veering is away from the other. So we decided and meet with Hearthside to see what they were all about, and we couldn t be happier! They were so accommodating to our needs and wants (I m an extremely anxious person who changes her mind frequently). John with sales was so kind, and helped me with all my questions! Lori in the office was amazing, we customized so many things in our home and Lori helped us get items priced and responded quickly! Jerry the on construction manager met us out at the property several times to answer questions and calm my anxieties! I know there are more names I m forgetting but everyone was truly amazing! From day one when they told us 6-8 months to build our home, my husband and I both figured 8+ months because it took most of our friends 9-12 months. To our surprise it was right at 6 months! The main reason I would recommend Hearthside is because they have a great system! Flawless, even their vendors agreed! The have an up to date app on your phone you can follow to watch the progress of your home with a calendar and pictures! You are able to see who is suppose to be at your home each day. It was spot on!

When we decided to build a new home we compared Hearthside's home plan to MANY others, and concluded that the Chandler II is the most functional, spacious and welcoming floor plan for our family. We ve lived in our Hearthside home for about 4 years now and for what we paid and what we ve heard about Hearthside, we really expected better. The realtor was top notch and the walk through tour before taking ownership was a really nice touch.

The home was brand new and we bought during a time when homes held an average listing time of about 0.34 seconds before being sold. It was the best of what was available in our budget at the time. All of my complaints, I voiced before buying and their tour guide guy was a wizard at not taking accountability. Most likely because he knew he could and we d still buy the house because of the way the market was. We definitely feel like they took advantage of us.

My biggest complaint is how haphazard our house seems put together. I remember seeing the property before they laid the sod and it was literally a gravel parking lot. I m sure there is dirt somewhere under our grass, but they laid sod directly onto a gravel parking lot and now we re spending extra on lawn care and maintenance to keep it alive and looking just okay.

Next is our driveway, before closing, I showed the guide a huge hole between the concrete and foundation of the house and they said it s nothing to worry about. A big gaping hole, where the driveway meets the house, and thousands of pounds of vehicles holding a family drives over every day, isn t anything to worry about.

The HVAC system uses exclusive filters that can only be purchased from the installer and the 3 different flues aren t labeled what part of the house they control so we re not entirely sure what parts of the house we re heating and cooling. The trim for our many of our doors stop short of the floors by about 1/2 and the master bathtub drain freezes every winter, rendering the tub useless for several weeks at a time.

Finally, I m pretty sure this house was wired by an intern. We have at least 3 lighting fixtures burn out 10 year bulbs about twice a year, and several of the light switches are just placed so stupidly. I ve lived here for 4 years, use these light switches every day, and still find myself reaching to where they make sense as opposed to where they are.

There are a bunch of other disappointments about the house and neighborhood, but I don t know if they re necessarily within Hearthside s control. We definitely learned a lesson in being bamboozled and I hope this can help other buyers avoid our mistakes.

Our neighbors are really great, which helps. Again, just really let down in how we felt we were handled in the process.

We had a really great experience building in Tiffany Woods with Hearthside. The process was really smooth and they were open to working with us on a variety of customizations we wanted to make with our house. The communication through a real estate agent went smooth. We are really happy with our house and always felt like we would get what we paid for. We did have to follow up on a few things that we noticed were off from our plans from time to time but those things always got resolved.

Love our new home! The Aspen ranch floor plan is perfect for our little family! 3 bedrooms on the main level and walk out patio off our kitchen. Mike did our walk-throughs and was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly! To future buyers the only thing I suggest is take your time during the final walk-through.. we were so excited we missed a few minor things! Also, the painter did an amazing job! Our daughter tells us daily how much she loves our new home!

We bought a spec home that we fell in love with. They completed the basement for us before closing and it is beautiful! There are a few things such as a plumbing issue on the day we moved in, wine rack that is missing one end, that we have had to contact people about after closing however they have been very responsive.
