Horrible first and last experience. Placed order and paid for expedited shipping on 3/14. Nothing ever received. Called them on 4/12 to inquire about status on 4/12 and was told that they had received the product, was stocking it and would be received in "about a week" but never received anything (and at that time was told they would take off the charge for expedited shipping). Called back again today and was told that the order had been cancelled and the customer service agent actually had the audacity to ask me if I had mistakenly cancelled it when I called them on 4/12 (really?). After I told him absolutely not, he placed me on hold to see what happened and came back with they had too much of this item on backorder so Healthy Pets had cancelled the order. I asked if they routinely did so without even emailing or calling the customer to let them know, and he said that "we could do that but since they are transitioning to a new system did not". What a joke. Go with a legitimate, reputable company with real customer service like Chewy or Pet Food Express -- and skip this company.

Prices are reasonable, website is quiet easy to use. However, delivery and customer service are terrible My $100 worth order was missing and the customer service told to wait for an extra 5 working days to check what went wrong. Do not expect an apology as you will not get one. In the mean time, my dog prescription was due and had to buy the drug from a local vet. Won't buy there again.

I placed an order for a tartar control product for my collies in August 2015. The site claimed the items were in stock while other pet product websites were out of stock. I'm in luck! I placed the order and my PayPal account was charged. Two days later I receive an email stating that the items are on back order with no estimated date of delivery and no offer to cancel the order and refund the money.
I sent a refund request by email and contacted the company by phone requesting the same. Days pass and no refund. I contacted PayPal for a resolution. The refund eventually was processed. The time and effort to get this resolved really added up. This is what happens when companies deliberately sell out of stock product. Starting in early September, I began receiving promotional email from the company, they clearly lost me as a customer, and every time I received one, I would use the "unsubscribe" link to stop it. It's now mid November and I have made a total of 21 requests via online/email and 4 phone calls to the company that have resulted in ZERO response. I received another email promotion today November 18 for Black Friday.
This is what you can expect from Healthy Pets:
1. Sells and charges for product they know is not in stock.
2. Lead you to believe a product will be in-stock by stating it was "delayed due to an unexpected and temporary backorder".
3. Completely ignore numerous requests to stop emailing you with promotions.
4. Waste your time.
In my opinion and from my experience, I think the company uses dishonest selling practices, this was no mistake, and they obviously could care less about their customer's time. I would avoid doing business with them.

This is a scam website specializing in bait and switch. It will pop up a big banner saying "You have QUALIFIED for free shipping! ". But when you take the bait and go through the entire order process the free shipping will vanish at the very last step just before you hit return to accept the order. Don't give them your money.
You will notice that HealthyPets posted and response and if you go to their site you will find the entire response to be false. First of all none of their website works the way they say it does. Secondly, when you say "You have qualified for free shipping" . and, at the very last step, the free shipping goes away, having an asterix somewhere, does not make it any less bait and switch. If there are yet exclusions to apply you May have qualified, would be correct. In short, HealthyPets, your pants are on fire.

Like others have experienced i made the mistake of ordering from this website thinking they were a reliable online store. After over a week with no order update i sent and email and received no response in 2 days. I then tried calling and gave up after being on hold for 25 minutes. I have now sent another email adding another of their email addresses. Terrible, non existent customer service. Will not do business with them again and will be attempting to cancel and get a refund. I revised this review to 2 stars (from 1) as most of my order did turn up after 2 weeks. However, communication is lacking! No email telling me it shipped, no tracking details, no details on where the remaining item is or when i will get it an phone support non existant.

What a joke this place is!! Horrible customer service, poor communication, and now I can t even get my refund for a cancelled order. I ordered from them for the first time a few weeks ago. After about a week with not even a shipping update I had to call them to find out the item was on back order. They were suppose to call me with an estimated time of when they would get the item and nothing. I called again to find out it would be out of stock indefinitely. I cancelled the order last Tuesday and have yet to see a refund post to my bank account. Very frustrated and I will never order from them again. Ordered item from someone else and it was here in two days.

My wife and I placed an online order for a 6-pack of Pet 'n Shape Lamb Strips Dog Treats (18 oz) from Healthy Pets on 4/17/20 for $23.99 + $3.35 shipping = $27.34. My credit card was charged 3 days later on 4/20/20. We never received the Lamb Strips but instead received 6 packs of Pet 'n Shape Chik 'n Skewers, which we never asked for. My wife has called your offices about this many times and either (1) is told that the Lamb Strips are on the way, along with a return authorization for the (unwanted) Chik 'n Skewers or (2) is left on hold for extended periods of time; then either hung up on or transferred to a voicemail where she leaves messages that remain unreturned. If the Lamb Strips were out-of-stock there was no indication of that on your website - else we would not have ordered them. I want you either to (3) send the Lamb Strips and return authorization for the Chik 'n Skewers right away at your own expense or (4) I will be forced to contact my bank to reverse your charge and file a dispute against your business. My (unfulfilled) Order # is 2075958; I am providing that so no more time is wasted on this. Make good for what you charged me for and I will update this review to a more favorable one. I have used this company 3 times. The first two times, they were great. But last time I ordered, I paid for next day delivery as my pets are both on special diets and I was running out of food. I don't know what's happening to Healthy Pets lately but these past few months they have gone downhill in terms of service. Deliveries have been delayed and their courier is shocking. I emailed customer service a few days ago and ago and no one got back to me. Disappointed, I hope this is not how it will be from now on.
