My family of four including a 13 and a 15-year-old had a wonderful time on the river with Maria. She was wonderful funny and informative about the train and spotting wildlife on the side.

I highly suggest the full day trip as it gives you an opportunity to Get used to paddling prior to eating the rapids which I must. Great for the whole family. I highly suggest this trip.

We took the full day rafting trip with a 7 and 9 year old. The trip was very well coordinated, safe, and fun.
We all had opportunities to float alongside the raft and the children loved it ( as did the adults). The guides were fun and ensured we were comfortable and gave clear directions for paddling.
We will be back for sure.

Our Saddle and Paddle half day experience was amazing! We spent an hour on horseback riding around the beautiful ranch lands above Gardiner (near Jardine) and then rode raft through fairly calm water (good for our youngest child) 8 miles down the Yellowstone River. Our guide was great and the family that joined us for the rafting trip was a lot of fun as well (which is something that Yellowstone Rafting Co couldn't control but worked out for us anyway). I wish the instructions to get to the ranch for riding was more clear and I recommend they distribute maps for those of us without smartphones, but still a 5 star experience. Next time we'll do the more rigorous trip through "Boat Eater" rapid! Thank you for a great experience!

We originally booked the scenic float and the guy at the front desk said the half day water rafting your would be better for my boys 15 and 10. I'm soo glad we did. Kevin our guide made us feel safe and comfortable the whole time. He also gave us good recommendations for local places to eat and other activities. Even on the ride back was fun where you can write on their school bus to leave your print

The Yellowstone Raft company is the oldest in town. Craig was a great guide, we all had a wonderful time. Splashing other boats, boarding them like Pirates!! Book a trip, you will love it.

At the time of booking, we had a few questions. It was weekend and late and yet they got right back to us. We arrived early and found the guide to be very interesting and engaging. Although he was ALL ABOUT THE SAFETY, he was very funny and made us all feel very comfortable. Our trip down the river was filled with stories of the area, it s history, the wildlife, and lots of interesting tidbits. He allowed us to enter the river and swim around for a bit. It s something I never would have done except that our guild made us feel so safe and confident in his abilities. Even though it was a 2 hour trip, it was over so quickly because we were having so much fun!!

We did the combination 2 hr horseback ride and whitewater rafting trip with our family (3 kids ages 8, 10, and 11). The guides for the horseback ride were patient, professional and very easy to talk to. They were training a new horse during our ride, so we were able to see some of the techniques they use. The whitewater rafting trip was also great! The guide gave some history which was interesting, the rapids weren't too exciting but it's late in the year. Our kids were able to "ride the bull" which they loved. Overall, awesome!

We had a great time on the Yellowstone River with TJ and Bucky! The place has a very casual feel, but very professional product! We were a group of 8 - including a 6 and 9 year-old along with grandma and grandpa - and had a wonderful 2-hour river trip. The safety briefing was short but we never felt unsafe. Our two youngest did get cold, but we were all cared for very well. I would higly recommend!
The photo package was also well worth it! Brilliant photos!

We had a great time rafting the Yellowstone River. We went at the end of August and the river was pretty low, so rapids were much less intense than we had expected (level 1, maybe level 2). However, it was still fun and our raft guide did an excellent job making the most of the river and letting us make the most out of our trip! Would recommend!

Awesome experience! Our guide was amazing and the crew were a ton of fun. I would recommend booking a trip with a bit more of the intense sections.

We had a great time! Our guide Patrick was fun and engaging and even though we were on a freezing day, we all came out with smiles on our faces.

The staff was incredibly accommodating...My 13 year old and I loved the rapids, however, my husband and 9 year old wanted only the scenic ride. The staff arranged for my son and husband to meet us downriver in order to share the experience, but miss the rapids for the two who did not want to do that. Joe was our guide and make sure my 13 year old and I hit every big splash we could. He was well informed of some interesting historical markers and land formations along the way.

We had an amazing time on our trip! It was our first time rafting and the River was a nice mix of rapids and calm waters with serene views of Yellowstone. Our guide Summer was fun, witty and she made our experience memorable for all. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend! We did the half-day, 8 mile trip with our two kids, aged 6 and 8 and it was perfect. Just the right amount of rapids and "flat water." The wife and I paddled while the kids sat in the front of the boat and took the brunt of the cold water. Our guide Kelly was great and ensured that all of us had a fantastic time.

The ride of Our Lives

Our guides name was Adrian but before we met Adrian we met Sarah and Hayden. Hayden is Sarah's niece. This is a family-run business. It is very wholesome, very friendly, and very accommodating. What a wonderful place to spend a day with your family. These people are well-trained and very friendly. I cannot say enough good about this company and how they took care of our family; from the moment we walked through the door they were there to help us in every way they could to have the best day of Our Lives. Adrian was a top-notch guide on the Yellowstone River. Adrian took our six-year-old under his wing and kept her close and helped me relax and have fun myself. He was so well trained and so professional but also relaxed at the same time. He has a great personality and I cannot say enough good about him. We really had a very good time and just want to go back and see Adrian and Sarah and say hello again. They made us never want to leave the north entrance to Yellowstone and Gardiner Montana.

They do a great job of safely getting you down the whitewater with fun and beautiful scenery, including bald eagle and several osprey.

Nate was knowledgeable and entertaining. The place had a very casual atmosphere and a great location. I was the only person on our boat that had rafted before so he kept the ride fairly tame but made sure I had fun.

We opted for kayaks instead of the group raft and had an amazing time. It was actually our third time rafting in a different river in a single week and this was by far the best experience. The rapids were much larger and much more fun than the other two experiences we had recently and what made it especially great, was our guide, Kelly. Kelly was easily the best guide we have had experience working with. If you have some experience and want adventure go for the Kayaks.

Very nice place people were so friendly. My family and I had so much fun! We would recommend to anybody and do this again when we come back to Yellowstone.

Took the last float trip of the season on the Yellowstone River above Gardiner MT (Sept. 15th). Perfect Indian summer day... with a few animals showing up for us (young bull elk on river bank, distant elk and pronghorn, ducks). We were a group of 7 guests on the raft, plus Nate, our Guide and rower. Nate was knowledgeable and friendly, explaining that at this point in the season, water flow was down to about 1600 cu ft, compared to peak snow melt in June of over 20,000.There were enough riffles and a few spots of white water that the trip was varied and fun.

The rafting was great. The guides were great. The river was beautiful. But having to lug your boats down a pretty steep rocky hill. Not cool. Not cool at all. If they had a better entry system, I d have given them a 5 star rating.

My 17 year old and 13 year old wanted to try whitewater rafting, but couldn t talk any adults into going with them! Yellowstone Raft Company was great with them and they both had a fabulous time!

Great trip, Danni was awesome with the knowledge of history and geology of the local area. The kids had a bunch of fun and it was a nice brisk swim in the river in the calm spots. Thanks a bunch, we will definitely come again.

Best white water rafting experience ever! Our guide Craig was so fun. We had some good rapids to go through. We had 5 people in our family who went and all 5 listed this as their best experience of the week! Would book with these guys in a second!

My family was standing at the rafting starting point in Gardiner, MT discussing possibility of whitewater rafting. A young fellow from YRC named TJ approached us, gave us details and encouraged us to go with his company. Booking was easy. The rafting trip was a blast! My large family thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Our boat commander was Izzy. She was an absolute delight! She was skilled and had vast knowledge of the river and sites. One thing we found out was that all boat guides at YRC were the only ones in town required to complete Swift Water Rescue Certification. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YELLOWSTONE RAFT CO. !!!!!

The views were incredible of the wild life, the guide was pleasant and knew the area. In the middle of a pandemic wearing a mask is important to slow the spread of Covid19. Otherwise the float was great and my son had a lot of fun!

This was really great. We did the full day trip which I highly recommend. Our boys (12 and 9) said it was the highlight of our week long trip. Kyle was our guide and did well with kids and was very engaging and informative. This company was recommended by a buddy who is now a doctor but was a yellowstone river guide in his younger days. He was right.

My wife and I took the half day kayak trip on Saturday September 12, 2020. I am 65 and my wife is 61. We had kayaked some in Oklahoma but never whitewater. Patrick was our guide and he was excellent. He was patient and was very informative along the way. The equipment and water suits were in good shape. We rested halfway through, I think just for me, as I was getting tired. It was a refreshing stop, making the second half very enjoyable.

Maria was an incredible guide. We did a half day whitewater raft tour and had my father, wife, and 6 and 9 year old boys. They had an awesome time and we were able to hit some great rapids. Definitely recommend it.

We did the Saddle and paddle combo pack. The view on the horse ride was amazing, the horses seem to be well taken care of and the ride itself was fun. I was not aware that 30+ people would be on the tour. We have 3 daughters and weren't able to share the experience together because we were all split up. It really defeated the purpose.... I had my go pro on and guess who was on it? Not my family... Now to the rafting portion, for starters they have you carry the raft down to the river.. for the cost that should be taken care of, It was difficult considering the group we were stuck with mostly consisted of kids. Again we were crammed in a raft with another big group. I finally stopped paddling after consistently being hit with a paddle by the child in front of me. We were again all split up, unable to sit together.. same issue with my video, all of other people. I did really like our guide Summer. Really the only upside of the rafting trip. For the price we paid for a family of 5 the least this company could give us is a heads up... I would have paid for a private trip. This was basically like we were teachers on a field trip. Disappointed.

Maria was amazing! Due to it being late in the season, the rapids were not as rough. We were able to bring our 4 year old. Maria made sure that everyone was safe. She has a wonderful personality too. This was one of the highlights of our trip!

Wow! My wife and I are hooked now! I used to think that kayaking down a river with whitewater was only reserved for extreme athletes, but Yellowstone Raft Company showed us that this sport is possible even for beginners. Our guide was great and made us feel comfortable and safe, and made sure that we had FUN! We ll be back again for sure!

YRC provides a great rafting experience. I ve rafted a number of challenging rivers and they made it fun for our whole group regardless of experience level. Great job!

Had a great time with TJ on the short tour. He knew his stuff and we hit some good splash spots! The kids in our boat sounded like they had a good ride, too. Everyone wrapped up drenched and laughing, which is probably a good sign for a river raft ride.

My group had a great time with Maria on the 2 1/2 mile white water. I was worried about not being strong enough to keep up but it was really easy to pull my weight with the rowing. Pretty much anyone could do this. Great scenery along the way. Only thing not pointed out before hand was the very steep gravel descend to the river. After that it was a breeze.

Had a great 5 hours rafting with these guys. Tucker was our guide and he was awesome. Told us some great stories and kept us laughing. He even told us some great spots to check out in Yellowstone. definitely worth the money.

We had the best time! Everything was spot on! We took our 3 kids 2- 6 year Olds and our 10 year old son! We had a blast!! Our guide TJ was fun and totally knowledgeable about the area!

Knowledgeable guides who love to have fun . . Very good safety talk before floating to help us enjoy the river . . They allowed us to get out of the boat and float . . Love to try it when the river is at a higher water level . . Highly recommend to everyone!

My family and I all had a blast!! Eric was a great guide and was very easy to talk to! He was super accommodating to our three kiddos (ages 9, 10, 11) and made this an experience to remember!! We would do it again in a heartbeat!!

My wife was apprehensive at first but the guide reassured her and poked a little fun, which made the experience great. Maria our guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole boat ride exciting. Definitely would recommend for any family trips or honeymoons!

Very rude guides - think they own the river. Very little respect for their surroundings - go with another company who isn t just trying to shovel money into the boat...

We ended up being an hour late due to our phones not updating to the correct time zone, however when we got there we were greeting with the owner who had called the guides back to make sure we got our scenic rafting trip. That in itself was above and beyond. Our guide was Abby and our driver was Nate, extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the entire area, my kids, husband and I couldn't have had more fun. I definitely recommend this company don't miss out. Very worth it can't wait to do it again in the future.

My family of 6 showed up to go horseback riding on our first day to Yellowstone. After being told that they would be open, we showed and they were not open(this trail company has nothing to do with Yellowstone Raft Company). Needless to say we had a disappointed family. So imagine our surprise the next day when we made our way to Gardiner, MT and stumbled upon this shop, and found out that they could arrange trail rides! So we booked the rides for that day. One issue, my wife had open toed shoes and the rides required closed toe shoes. The young lady was very helpful and allowed us to borrow a pair a closed toe water shoes.The ride was amazing! With only one glitch, my 6 year old was scared and decided she did not want to ride a horse. So my wife stayed back with her. Yellowstone Raft company issued us a refund. Great experience and would highly recommend!

Our family of 4 did a full day white water rafting trip today with Nate! He's was awesome! He made sure our 10 year old was having fun and hung from a train bridge with out 17 year old, who now wants to bring his girlfriend down to do this. Lunch was great, best part was the pink lemonade! Such a great experience on the Yellowstone river! Don't miss this!

This was my first time rafting and I was super nervous. Our guide Kevin did an awesome job and the whole trip was a great experience!

Our family went with a group whose ages extended from 9 to 66. Every single one of us had a blast. Our guide, Brady, was very funny and an expert with the rapid. We hope to come back to Yellowstone National Park, and we will make sure to stop back by!

Went on a "full day" rafting trip (actually 3.5-4.5 hours, depending on river levels) with 4 adults total. We had a great time, far better than my last Yellowstone River rafting experience which was just a "half day" trip, because we got to experience the rapids in Yankee Jim Canyon during high water. Our guide was experienced and knowledgeable and we felt safe the entire trip.

If you want to experience a rafting trip where they deliberately take you through the rougher rapids that can flip your boat for the thrill of it, go with another company. If you want to experience the river with experienced guides, safety boats following along, and routing through the rapids in a safe way based upon the skill level of your boat, this company is for you.

This is our third time with YRC/Paradise Rafting. We keep coming back because of the fantastic guides whose enthusiasm is contagious, and how well organized and easy things are. TJ was our guide this time; he was fun, knowledgeable and friendly and also was good with our silent awe of our surroundings. He made good on his promise to eat a bug when we agreed to go for a dip in the water. Awesome staff and owners.

Where to begin? Pat- our guide- was amazing! This has been on my bucket list for a while and it did not disappoint! We did the full day trip with lunch and it was worth it. Yellowstone Raft Company has some of the best staff we encountered on our vacation. They were very friendly and helpful, as a first timer I didn't know what to expect but they walked us through everything and made sure we had fun. We made some awesome memories that I know we will be talking about for a very long time!

Why was the owner/guide so aggressive with my 65 year old mother? He made her cry. Why were there jokes made by the guides about drinking alcohol? Not a good experience

We had the best time rafting with Bucky. He pointed out some great things about the river and had some interesting historical knowledge. We saw a bald eagle and lots of other cool birds. Would totally recommend.

Awesome experience late in the season in September. Had a wonderful time and plenty of room on the raft with just four riders plus the guide. Our guide was excellent and our professional pics turned out great. Would do it again with this company.

I have rafted with YRC since 2005. Great then, great now. My children loved them and we plan on many return trips. Make YRC your bucket list rafting company. You will love them too.
