This hotel surprised me, very good staff and rooms, but the breakfast staff was problematic and disaffected. Would still stay here again.

Beautiful hotel...restaurant/bar un lobby was great!!! Food was fabulous especially the pastrami Reuben!! Best reuben i ever had. Literally melted in your mouth, that's how tender it was!! 5*
Very good accommodations, a little bit old. But good space in the room, well furnished.
Went here for Dexcon. The hotel was a great venue. It was clean despite the number of people. One of the elevators from the parking garage refused to open to let us out on our floor. The emergency help person was very professional and helpful. The elevator released us on our original floor. We took the stairs, lol.
It's old, terrible parking options and nearby road make it difficult to access
The location was nice and had a cozy feel and the conference room was comfortable as was the service
Accommodations were adequate, staff was responsive with supplying extra towels and bedding, floor staff was reasonable overall.
This is a great, centrally located hotel. Everything is clean and well kept, and there is a lot to do in the surrounding area.
Simple luxury in a great town. I visit once a year and I'm never disappointed.
Don t stay here. We got there and they gave us a room. For a very hotel. With no view. The windows were frosted. The bathroom were dirty. We left yesterday (Sunday 2/1/19) and we were feeling sick. We are now going to get tested for the flu. Go down the street to another hotel or stay at the Madison. This one is dirty with bad customer service.
Very nice well kept and clean hotel with a nice bar. Good for throwing formal parties and conveniently located near some good restaurants with in walking distance. Parking is in a parking garage.
The suite that was booked was not the accommodations that were received
Was here for an event. Event space was small for the particular event
The walls were thin. I could hear the conversation of guests in other rooms with near perfect clarity. The hotel was located near the city center and we were able to walk to several nearby restaurants and bars. The pillows were possibly the best ones I've ever used. They actually supported me instead of going flat within the first five minutes. That being said, I didn't sleep particularly well on the provided spring mattress. The bathroom was nicely accommodated. I had everything I needed to prepare myself for the day. The shower had good pressure and soft water, but the shower head wasn't my favorite. It was really nice that the mirror had an embedded defrost element so it didn't fog over during the shower. The waterfall faucet had too much pressure, and I was sprayed by it as I washed my hands. Not fun. Breakfast was not included with the hotel, and prices were expensive. For a hotel of this class, I would expect breakfast to be included. We decided not to dine at the Hotel.
Rooms were very nice. Shower took a long time to warm up but other than that they were great.
Nice hotel great location. The room with nice but the furniture was not in de condition that you expect on a Hyatt Regency hotel. Had water marks, chips, etc. I will say also the overcharge ($15) for overnight parking and should be included with the room. Not a 5 Star hotel.
I was there to pick up my bib for a bike ride. The staff was very kind and courteous. I will go back there again
Visited for First Night. Hotel was clean and accommodating.
They didn't let us sit on the floors and water was $3 a bottle.
Nice view, comfortable bed, clean rooms, and breakfast
Service is impeccable, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is good, as hotel food goes. Lots of amenities in and around the site. Got a free upgrade to a loft, which was nice.
Nice hotel with plenty to see and do in downtown Morristown. Within walking distance you'll find a park that is usually pretty lively during certain times of year. You'll also found a row of shops and restaurants. For a great meal/steak, try "Ruth's" (not Chris).
Super old building but it's decent and the staff is great.
Excellent service in all categories. Best gluten free pizza I ve ever had. Thank you! Ken you are a ROCK STAR for sending my left behind ipad overnight!
Very convenient location with good restaurants and shopping nearby. Loved the food at the hotel lobby restaurant.
Rooms are okay, there was a huge stain on the outside of one of our windows which was kinda gross, seemed like the windows hadn't been washed in a long time. My biggest discrepancy was having to pay for parking, if I'm paying 16 dollars a day maybe they should be cleaning or maintaining their garage.
Front desk was kind and helpful with check-in and even remembered that I called the day prior to request early check in.
Hotel only has 4 luggage carts. On Sunday getting luggage to the car is a nightmare.
One of my favorite hotels to visit. Lovely atmosphere with great staff.
I didn't stay at the hotel but have passed through multiple times and it has always been a pleasant visit.
Very good and clean.. kids friendly.. many stores and restaurant nearby.
I had a good comfortable stay at the Hyatt. I will definitely return.
The server at the bar area was very nice and hospitable. Overall would stay again.
There for a focus group only, but the area of the hotel that I experienced was nice. Good food as well
Location is ideal for all party occasions but the staff is incompetent when it comes to handling troubles within the hotel and is not compensating in any way.
Comfortable and conveniently located in a walkable neighborhood. Came for a convention and was happy to be able to take the train in and function in town without a car
Great place, clean rooms, nice decor, super friendly staff! Great experience!
Compared to other Hyatt Regency properties I've stayed in, this one needs some TLC. The carpet and furniture have seen a lot of use and ceilings are cracking. The same can be said of the Concord meeting room off the bar. Thankfully, the staff and service are very good which is thus property's saving grace. Great location and nearby restaurant selection.
I was at an event tonight at the Hyatt. Upon leaving, a janitorial staff person (older gentleman in black glasses) in Headquaters plaza yelled at me very rudely for accidentally walking across an area that had recently been mopped. I admit I walked there and shouldn't have, it was an honest mistake. But, to be yelled at from across the room for having "no respect" was, in and of itself, hugely disrespectful to a paying customer. Needless to say, I will not be back.
Nice staff. Conference rooms were spacious. Did not stay overnight so no opinion on the rooms
Everything about the Hyatt was excellent. There's an AMC movie theater inside the hotel along with 2 great restaurants.
Not a bad hotel. Rooms are a little dated, but the location is great. Also, free parking with hotel stay!
Great business hotel in a great city
Lot of restaurants around the hotel.
Clean, friendly staff, and positive overall experience
Great hotel, nice rooms and wonderful area to visit
Good service, good location, good housekeeping, great restaurants nearby.
Top notch. Just no sunrise views for not customers.
Room was OK, comfortable bed and nice view, but nothing special. I was really disappointed by the pool and fitness area. It was why I chose this hotel over others. The pool and fitness area has severely restricted weekend hours and is located outside of the hotel, down a long, bare corridor, that is the local movie theater's corridor between the ticket agents and the theaters. Both weird and unpleasant.
I visited to pick rider materials for Gran Fondo NJ. It was a good venue because of the parking garage. Also, free parking was arranged which was validates by the front desk. It made getting in and out quick and painless.
Large hotel in downtown Morristown. Good fir conferences although parking around the area can be tough. They have valet parking in the hotel but it s pricier than finding parking in the street potentially or at one of the other lots around.
The hotel was great overall. Nice rooms, quiet, front desk staff was pleasant and helpful.
However, cleanliness was lacking. Bathtub had several Grey smudges, carpet was extremely dirty and was not vaccumed properly. In addition furniture had a layer of dust.
They need to get their rooms cleaned better, because other than that it's a really great hotel.
Very nice atmosphere, clean. Although I didn't not get a chance to stay in one of the rooms their ballroom was very nice.
Stayed here after my friends wedding. The breakfast in the lobby is not free like EVERY other hotel, I ate my meal then was informed I was being charged $45. That is unbelievable ! All I ate was a muffin and some eggs. Then after spending hundreds of dollars on a room, they have water in the room but it s $3 a bottle. Stay away this place is a rip off.
Our stay at the hotel was great. Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
The rooms where very nice and clean! The staff was quite yet polite, i have no complaints. Will definitely come back to this hotel.
The room was not very clean and can hear noise easily. The bed was slumped in so bad that I couldn't walk the next day. They changed my mattress so they made up for the poor bed.
I liked the first floor, and the room had a window to see the city.
Nice hotel with great location in central Morristown. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and bars. Very friendly staff at the hotel, although rooms are dated and in need of refresh/update.
Helpful, considerate staff, excellent catering service.
Overall, the hotel is nice and has Hyatt Regency touch but needs renovation. Update rooms, decor and electrical ports is must. Beds, furnishings and decorations to include window curtains are must as they are worn and old. Been coming to this property for long time and it is about time. Love the breakfast in the morning. Fresh and colorful as they will delight any hungry guest. The property is located in downtown Morristown at its prime location. It is close to shops, restaurants and business financial district. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Staff and service are good, but the house itself has seen better days.
2.5-3 stars, room condition isn't fit for 4 stars. There was a 40 year old modern chair in my room that is typical of a 1970 design. Mattress probably from the 70s as well since it is well sunk. I couldn't sleep so well. Location is perfect though, many choices of restaurants and a CVS within a 500ft radius.
