Harrahs Resort & Casino Review

Harrahs is an absolute joke. Not only have I had a bad experience before covid with my pool bartender writing herself a $200 tip after paying and tipping her cash while renting a cabana we recently stayed again to give it another shot and were surely disappointed. Upon making the reservation one day before arrival I was asked what time I would be arriving and I told the guest services agent early because we wanted to go to the pool all day, not once did they mention that you had to make reservations to go to the pool and you can only be there for three hours then they kick you out even if no one else wants to come in. Also if you buy a drink at the pool expect to buy a minimum $6 food purchase for every drink purchased instead of just opening a tab and ordering a food item like everywhere else in California. The pool manager will also argue with you because he is ignorant about how the rest of the country has rules unlike Harrahs rules in response to Covid. We will not be giving Harrahs another chance after this awful experience.

Free EV charging.....slow 120v, but at least it's free. Friday night is free show by the pool. Best cover bands ever. Sometimes they sound better than the real thing....eg. Ozzy show, Boston and Fleetwood Mac were absolutely incredible. Pregame in the parking lot.... 8 bucks for a lousy beer is outrageous!! Free show though makes it worthwhile!!

Easy to drive there instead to Vegas. Rooms are clean, plenty of slot machines, and my host Ken Gilmore makes it very easy to make a reseevation.

Location is a good distance away from other surrounding casinos. Service was decent.

Room could be better. Was put in the older room. Otherwise a nice casino hotel. Far from other attractions. Takes an hour to get to Legoland.

Always fun here. The staff is pleasant and professional. Celebrated my 60th birthday here. Enjoyed myself.

I absolutely love Harrah's. Their pools are heated. Their staff is awesome and helpful/friendly. Their spa is so enjoyable. Drinks are great priced too! Did you know Harrah's is in Funner California? Rincon for the locals and David Hasselhoff is the Mayor there too.

Stayed at one of the cabanas with a group of friends to enjoy the pool/Jacuzzis and some drinks. The cabana setup was cool and the service we received was great. The lazy river was also very nice for relaxing in. I also went to the buffet for lunch and found the good to be pretty good. There was a nice variety of food available and I thought it was well worth the price.

Love Harrahs. Sadly the weather was cooling down so not the best pool weekend, but this location is solid none the less. Finally offering take out from the restaurants which is nice given Covid. Will be coming back soon!

Amazing time at the pool, those bubbles really tickle me! The suite was gorgeous and the shower super fancy! Love the place.

Had a great room with a wonderful view of the mountains and valley. The lazy river is awesome. Spent all day by the pool. Great cocktail/food service there, and reasonably priced. The buffet had every imaginable possibility, and was fabulous! Every employee had a smile, it must be a great place to work. They do so many eco-friendly things. From recycling the hotel guest soap to help save lives in underdeveloped countries to recycling their own waste water. Highly recommend and can't wait to stay there again!

The hotel rooms here are really nice! Well above average. Clean and modern. We came for the pool and the children would have stayed all day! So much fun! Buffet wasn't too bad either.

Went back in 2009 with some co-workers and hadna good time.

Horrible service. Visited with my two elderly grandparents. Couldn't get any help with our bags. Took almost two hours to get someone to help even then I ended up doing it myself cause even thou the gentleman on phone said someone would be there to help after about an hour of waiting I just did it myself. Started trying to leave at 7:30 didn't get out of there till 11. No gambling involved in that wait time . Don't think I will be coming back to this place.

Harrah's has beautiful rooms and friendly staff. If I had one thing bad to say, it would be that they charged me more for my deposit than the room cost and that was a big surprise to me.

Would be a lot better if they could pump out that cigarette smell like they do in Vegas.

Great lazy river, free valet parking and reasonable prices

Best resort in the area for family. Its a bit further into the canyon but it is worth the extra travel as it have a good pool and lazy river for the kids, a good size of slot for the adult. Also ther is a good buffet and good variety of restuarants in the resort so you do not need to leave the site for other stuff. There is also a 7-11 gas station right next to the resort so you can pick up extra food or gas.

Everything is okay, just don't plan on using the water. The water here is just filthy. I first noticed this when I was wetting a paper towel; I accidently spilled some juice in the desk and was going to wipe it with a damp paper towel so the desk top won't get sticky. I wet the towel and I noticed that it had turned a tan color upon contact with the water. I did this with others and all of them ended up with the same result. After this, I decided to do another experiment and wet the countertop of the bathroom. Using one of the white towels given to you here, I wiped the countertop clean finding that the white towel had also turned tan. They need to get that fixed. Who knows what could be contaminating the water? For all we know, it could be harmful to us.

Liked the place. Hate that people can smoke in there. Great pool area and service out there. I also liked the spa service. The restaurants we were able to go to weren't so good.

Awesome, classy Hotel and Casino. All Pros and no Cons. Harrahs is good to their guests. Love this place . They are located off the beaten path and surrounded by the beautiful nature of orchards, fruit crops, vegetable gardens and peace, no sound of freeways, planes, trains, skate boards or dogs barking. Just a beautiful Classy Hotel with bright stars and the view of green crops that are abundantly growing everywhere. Comforting and relaxing atmosphere.

Very nice casino. Room was large and well maintained when we checked in. Hotel restaurants have a good variety of options and the food was very good. Desk staff, dealers, and restaurant staff were all very nice and helpful.

Everything was fine but the fan in the restroom was super loud could not sleep all night it was me and my wife we got up early and checked out cause we couldn't sleep cause of the noise. We informed the front desk during check out all they said was sorry.

A pretty small casino floor but a good selection of games and not that hard yo get the one you want. we are at pinks which was fantastic. drink prices in the casino were not too bad though my wife got a Moscow mule that tasted terrible. have also been here before to use the pool area. we rented a cabana and had a blast. drinks are way less affordable on the poolside but the adults only lazy river is a nice touch.

This was a fun place. We stayed the night. Hung out mostly at the swim up bar and floated around the lazy river. Giant cups and long islands are the way to do it.

Went here for a birthday party at the pool. Got a cabana. The drinks were super expensive but you kind of expect that. Service was bad because they were understaffed. There were 2 bartenders for about 50 people and only 2 waitresses for the entire pool. Took forevvveerrr. Bloody Mary was weak,beer wasn't cold, and they fish tacos were some of the worst food I have ever eaten. TV in cabana wasn't working either. Really piss poor execution.

It's an alright place. Feel like Casino is a little smaller but it didn't feel super crowded there.

Fun atmosphere, good service, great dancing venue w DJ, on Fri and Sat. Wonderful concert venue. Excellent pools and areas to get massages, spa treatments.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. The room and hotel was clean and it didn't smell like cigarettes!

We had a great time at the hop heads and dreads event, and enjoyed our stay. The only complaint is that we could n9t chexk in until 4, but the even started at 2 and we had to carry our bags with us for hours

Had a very nice room and the overall hotel/casino/dining experience was very pleasant. I wish I would have know staying in the Dive tower meant loud music would he playing outside our room until 1 am on Saturday.

Was there for a concert. Grabbed a bite to eat and a beer before hand. It seemed like a nice place and clean.

Great amenities, visually stimulating, awesome service, plus great food and drinks. I've won more than a few times here, and after all the excitement, the rooms are cozy and a perfect way to end the night. They have an outdoor area with a few pools and jacuzzis as well. The actual casino area is decently sized and well organized between penny slots, newer machines, older machines, and table games as well. There is a sports bar in the very back and a casual, well decorated bar in the front. There is also a Starbucks, Robeks Juice, a clothing boutique store, a souvenir store, an awesome chinese restaurant (KJ I believe), and a high stakes room as well. Would recommend even to non-gamblers!

First time visiting this casino since the pandemic. Face masks required but no one enforcing. Temperature is taken when entering. Ate in the cafe which was set-up for social distancing, but also made the wait times longer. No other wait option but waiting in line with no distancing. Chinese restaurant next door had tables that were very close to each other. Buffet was closed. Seem to be a lot of people smoking (no masks). Not all slot machines were separated for distancing. The removal of tier benefit lines at check-in, restaurants, etc. disappointing.

Disappointing- poor service - could not get anyone to even get a soda - over priced food

Machines seem to be pretty tight... And I have to be honest hate the music.. Change it over to classic rock..

Easy distance from Vista, where I was staying. Fun times and low buy in tables.

We stayed in the Dive Inn rooms, the view was spectacular, the pools were great, the buffet was fantastic, everything clean, tub was huge, and I loved the shower head. My only complaint would be no staff not selling things on the pool deck, so kids were being really roudy and people wee hoarding the inner tubes (making stacks on chairs to hold them when not really using them)

Harrah's Resort Southern California is a grear place for a vacation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the pools are amazing! From the family section with the lazy river, to the adult area with the swim up bar and fire pits, it is a fun and relaxing place to spend the day.
