Harrahs Resort & Casino Review

Lazy River is Awesome. Blackjack ....winning tables. Excellent Bar staff . Craft Beers as well. Absinthe served hot sugar if you wish also.....mmmmmmm.

Our room had a great view of the pool. Drinks were great, food was bland. Machines were paying out!! We had a blast with the kids on the lazy river too

Too smokey. Not very fun. Expensive drinks. Nice decor and atmosphere, but overall not as good as Valley View or Pala. And food was mediocre at best.

If you want to get drunk and hang with a younger crowd destined to drive drunk from the middle of nowhere. this is your place!

Sleeping rooms clean. Buffet great. Lots of machines to play.

Came just for the buffet stayed for the great atmosphere and awesome drinks at their bars. Great way to spend an afternoon

Just went there to gamble a little bit but didn't do any good.

We came here for the buffet and to play some games. We have in the past stayed here. They have very nice pools with a lazy river. The kids love it. They also have multiple restaurants and a Starbucks and a Rove's. If you get their players card, they give out free play, discounts for free hotel rooms, and other rewards. They are very generous for you to come back. Great place for the summer.

It has a lazy river pool and it is awesome. Romm are clean and people are great

Went here for Mother's Day for free buffet with players card and the place was packed! Lines for the buffet stretched to their other restaurant and took 2 hours. Valley View is worse because you cant even get in line once you were late for their ticketing system for the buffet. Harrah's buffet food is average and they do serve crab legs, shrimp,oysters and prime rib. Valley View does all you can eat lobster but like I said good luck getting in if you don't camp out. Slots at Harrah's were tight as usual, been here like 7 times and lose my budget all the time. I also haven't seen anyone win big in all the times I have been here. They put in some new machines and increased the size of their non-smoking section to almost half of the casino and they do enforce it. Its not smoky but you can smell a faint lingering odor of cigarettes. It did not bother me because I smoke. The staff is very nice each time we come and we have not had a problem rustling someone up when a machine would malfunction and refuse to spit out our credits. We usually do slots and video poker so I can not comment on the gaming tables.
All in all it's an average Indian casino but MUCH BIGGER than Valley View and Casino Pauma. Pala is still the best though so I would suggest going their if you don't get car sick.

Pros: huge parking lot, just 15 minute drive from Valley View Casino if you want to casino hop, acceptable food and variety of dinning choices,nice staff, large gaming machine area, lobby is away from casino and has comfy sofas if you want to stay away from the casino area, good comping system for players.

Cons: EXPECT TIGHT MACHINES!!!

I like that this casino isn't real far away from town unlike the rest of the reservations

As some views of the mountains bit theirs nothing around it to do. It in the middle of nowhere. The shower makes a popping noise after you shower all night because of air in the line.

There are 5 casinos, including, Harrahs within a 10 mile radius here. I didn't used to go to Harrahs because, I could go to 1 of the other ones that has cheaper drink prices, free WiFi for all guests and lower denomination slots, if I wanted. HOWEVER, once I started going again, the rewards offered have been great enough to keep bringing me back! Like freeplay every 3 to 4 days and pretty awesome weekly promos! I tend to like to support more "mom and pop" establishments, being a small biz owner myself. But Harrahs has proved itself a little bit more to me, as being a "draw customers in with fun free stuff" toe of place. And who doesn't like free??!!

We were looking for a short getaway amd discovered this place. I should've known that any place with a casino is no place to go with kids. Air quality was horrible with gamblers' smoke and the lazy river they advertise as a wonderful place to be with your family has a bunch of drunks making out on pool side while kids float around in their floaties. There 3 large pools with multiple jacuzzis with only lazy river accessible for kids, yet adults drink and smoke even at lazy river area, giving families no where to go to avoid the smoke. My mistake for choosing this place.
The buffet was great though, oddly, very Children friendly with unicorn cakes, candy vending machine, multiple flavor ice creams and a cotton candy bar.
We had a suite on the 20th floor and the rooms were clean, 2 televisions with one in the living room and one in the bedroom, but very small, like 26inch. The balcony was bigger than our bedroom, where we overlooked at the pool and extremely loud even with all the doors closed. The music at the pool was heard until 11pm. Jacuzzi in the bathrooms were quite old, and the shower water was very weak and the coffe maker in the room was old and they use cheap brand of coffee provided for the room.

I got off the bus and they were extremely rude to the driver. The two ladies had no problem displaying that they were in a relationship and that is not what customers should be viewing. Gay rights are important but you should not conduct your self in that manner at a place of business and be so rude to the drivers who get us here safe. We put our lives in the drivers hands every time we come to Harrahs it's not right at all.

Came here for the buffet because Valley View didn't allow kids under 21 to even walk through. But after coming here, this Casino is amazing!! The pools are nice a clean. Buffet was satisfing. Mostly the standard foods you would expect from any buffet. Huge bonus was that they warm up your carb legs for you.

Great spot to gamble and eat . Terrific service and very clean.

This place is very special tonight so I've been going there for over 12 years and I know all the workers I know the security Personnel head of security is an Indian native Indian woman she hugs me every time she sees me all the waitresses know me by name the bartender's Nobody by name when I walk into the casino was like walking into my home more than a casino and everybody misses me when I don't go for 1 week or two weeks in the time they all say Where Have You Been we miss you so much that you said the casino is my home all of the worker's love me and my friends and they care about me I am very happy to Harrah's Casino very happy I'm sure they like home it's very special

Security took away my 40 while i was playing a slot machine...oh well...at least the room was nice...and COMPED.

Two pools, adult side and a kids section with a lazy river. Good restaraunts well cooked food and great service.

The lazy river is everything!!!!!!! Right now they limit the number of people who are out there so you sign up for time shifts and its less crowded which I love. The Gaming has everything I love and the rooms are always great.

We are invited to attend the sake and beer festival and enjoyed it very much. The employees here are very friendly. The rooms are accommodating and very comfortable. There is a wide variety of restaurants and great variety of the newest slot machines.

The service and atmosphere is so friendly and professional. I am having a spectacular time with my amazing girlfriend!!!

I went in to update my player card. The staff was kind, quick and professional. I couldn't ask for a better visit

No water pressure, no hot water for over 10 minutes, 2 phones in the room & neither worked, bellman never came when they said he would be up right away, strange smell in the room, staff standing around in no hurry to help or provide quality service.

This was our second stay, and the last one was far better. Last time was during the busy summer season. Winter appears to be a bad time to come, sadly.

The location is ok, a bit of a drive from where I live. The room was great, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. I enjoyed the service, easy access to tv and internet. I do wish the room service prices were a bit cheaper. But other than that I enjoyed the experience. I also love how you can watch the same movies that they're playing in theaters

Arizona nights Casino we did lucky we walked out of there with a little money but people are real nice

The rooms are great! Stay away from first floor though. I had my credit cards stolen while staying there. All the other times, no issues. No cell service in most spots which forces you to buy their Wi-Fi.

I wouldn't say this place is fully 4 stars, but it is more than 3.
I stayed in a suite with a couple of gal friends for the weekend on the 11th floor. The view of the pools was beautiful, especially at night. Beds were very comfortable and room and living room were clean. Hospitality was nice as well. Friday night was not as busy as Saturday. Here's why I knock for the stars: not enough ventilation from all the smoking. Yes, there is a non smoking area for gambling, but still just not enough air flow. Overall, I would definitely go back and would love to go in summer for the full pool area experience.

No new member sign up freeplay when it said online new members get $25 free play. Didnt receive anything not even a food discount..:(

The last river in the family side is my favorite here. The adult side is great too if it's just you & hubby.

I'm a Caesars frequent-flyer, if you will. I've been to Harrah's Southern California a few times now and this is the first time I've been truly dissatisfied. From the food options for kids, to the room, to the valet!!! I guess your status doesn't matter at this property, unless you stay away for a while and they want to draw you back in. I will stick to the Las Vegas properties where we feel better accommodated!

I booked a dive-in pool view room, when my family got there, they gave us a parking view room wth is that!!! I called front desk, they reviewed my booking, promised to trAnsfer us to pool view room 4th F. After the struggle they called us, told us that our pool view room is ready at the 4th Floor and we need to come down to the check-in counter for the new keys. When we got there at the desk they gave us the 1st floor room WITHOUT a POOL VIEW at all. We asked what happened to the 4th F that they were talking about? They said they dont know, maybe somebody already have it. We're so DISAPPOINTED!!! We're already so tired from waiting the whole dAy for a room then transferring from 1 room to another. But then we still didnt got the DIVE IN POOL VIEW ROOM that ive booked. I felt that im being ripped off!!!

My friends and I travel to Harrah's at least 5-6 times a year for a good time, great food, fun in the sun at their amazing pool, and to try our luck at the slot machines. One rushed morning at check out, I forgot some items hanging in the closet. Frantically I tried calling and was transferred to a call center with no help or direction. After sending a message to the Harrah's Southern California facebook page, I was contacted within 2 minutes! I then was reassured by the Operations director, Vince Murillo that his team would look into it ASAP. 10 minutes later he personally called me with the good news they found my belongings and were mailing it to me! It was a holiday miracle and I was pleasantly surprised that their team were all hands on deck for me. THANK YOU HARRAH'S SOCAL - SEEEE YOU SOON!!!

Sort of hard to get to but most casinos are. Good place to have fun and spend a few bucks

Very relaxing, very family oriented, safe environment, clean pools ,great service @ Fiore restaurant.

Stayed after our wedding. Resort was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was even decorated per my request before our arrival. They had some sort of concert going on at the pool and we heard the music loudly from our room. That was the o ly negative but overall great experience lots of food options and lots to do.

Great atmosphere, love the pool area & the hotel is quite accommodating.

Very quiet on a Tuesday. Hardly anyone in the buffet...felt very relaxed, not rushed. Had a pleasant 5 hours at the resort.

The casino was really clean and the layout was very nice.

The only reason to go there is because of its total reward program so that I can go Vegas bound. Its far and if you are tmobile user, you won't have signal there.

Great Japanese restaurant. Pizza place should be open earlier

Very Las Vegas style, lots of lights, action, food and entertainment. Although it is definitely out of the way for a short visit due to its more remote location. I would recommend staying there for a few days and enjoying a concert or other activity while enjoying all of the casino's attractions. Not to great for a day trip.

Arrived Jan1st...cannot win on slots at all after 2 days; seriously NOT FUN and very disappointing to say the least. Waited 3 hours for our room, then got sent to a dirty room...went back down to desk got a different room, then never, ever won after 2 days. Bad luck I guess. Never again.

Too far out of the way to be convenient, too expensive to stay overnight, and unimpressive as a music venue.

Gaming floor was nice, very reminiscent of the Las Vegas strip. More than other casinos in SoCal; but I wasn't there to gamble, so I cannot comment on the games.

I had a great time it took a while to get some of the machines we wanted to play and the table games minimum were too high but we still had a great time

Bar was actually cheap and great, bartenders were very friendly.

Very crowded and hard to get on a machine due to the old folks and there are a lot of old Aristocrat, Konami, IGT, and WMS games with a few of the newer ones scattered throughout the casino. Casino is very smoky. Rooms are a little outdated as evident by the gold accented shower and the view was blocked by a tree on the 4th floor (room 426). Slider door opens to allow fresh air. Pool is heated with adult side and childrens side separated by the bar. The buffet was surprisingly good.

Harrah's SoCal is awesome as always! Everyone there makes me feel welcomed Like a Rockstar whether it's the executive in the three piece suit or the person that cleans the bathroom everyone there makes me feel welcome.

Amenities were very nice over all, but their IT needed some help. Most of the TV channels constantly were dropping out and wifi was very spotty.
