Great place to enjoy a concert. gamble and spend the night.

So much to do, the casino is fun and staff is friendly, the rooms are beautiful, the pools are wonderful.

We went for a show and decided to do the buffet too. The show was the best I've ever seen so this isn't a review of the show or the ability for the casino to bring quality acts.
First off. The casino floor must be walked to get anywhere, and smoking is allowed. So I couldn't breathe when going from point a to b, etc. Which sucks a lot.
Second, the buffet is the worst I've ever been to. The only good thing about it was I did not get food poisoning... We went on prime rib and shrimp night. The lighting is very odd so that I could not tell if the cut of meat I got was well done or medium rare. The first slice I lucked out on and it was fairly good, however the next was so well done it was pasty (I thought it was a medium piece). The shrimp was small and there were only 4 choices. A horrible "Thai shrimp" it tastes like it was slathered in orange chicken sauce and hot sauce was dumped in also to make it spicy. A shrimp scampi that was in watery butter, the frozen fried butterfly shrimp, and then cold shrimp cocktail. The food selections were small and not good. They somehow made potatoes taste bad.... I don't know if I would ever recommend eating at the casino. It is beyond me how it has won any award for food. My only guess is that it is the only restaurant in 100 square miles....
Thirdly, the area that the show was in was just a very large conference room, with a stage at one end. There were maybe 4 steps leading up to the stage so it wasn't very high, you could only see above the performers knees (which there were times it was very important to see below that...) I was only sitting maybe a third of the room away from the stage also.
Fourth, I don't gamble ever, but when I do I play the penny games. It was very hard to find a penny game. Most games were 50 cent minimum bets or more.
Fifth, they make you give them your personal information to get a "players card" even though you only came for a show and a player's card has zero to do with what you are doing there! I now have a dumb card in my wallet forevermore....
The good part is that they didn't charge crazy prices for the show, and it was a very good show. Which I will hopefully see again, but the show is the ONLY reason the casino isn't getting 1 star.

Lively and fun. Though I really don't win very often. Play bingo black jack. Gave up slots. Machines too tight.

Large casino, payouts were not good, takes your money fast. Hold percentage is high.

I thoroughly enjoyed this place! The casino's nice the buffet is awesome! The hotel with the giant outdoor hot tubs is amazing! Loved it! Five stars from me!

The food in the buffet was pitiful. Hardly any options and the ones that were there were mediocre. Then my husband and I spent $50 each and went home empty handed. We didn't even win a tiny bit once. Horrible date night. We don't get nights without our kids but a couple times a year and we wasted it going there.

The hotel is fabulous I recommend staying there to anybody

I bought tickets to see Grand Funk Railroad, and the week of the show I found out that Mark Farner (original member) was not touring with the band. I saw Mark Farner a few years ago and it was a fantastic show. I didn't think that the band would be able to compare, so I emailed customer service and asked for a refund. It does state on their policy that they don't do refunds or exchanges, but it was a sold out show, so I thought they might make an exception for my honest mistake. I corresponded with Ashley, who just restated the policy and informed me that the show would be "amazing". I did go to the show, and I had a good time, but I am glad that I found out Mark Farner wasn't performing with the band beforehand because I would have been thoroughly disappointed. The band was alright, and like I said I had a good time, but the band definitely wasn't on par with the level of performance as Mark Farner. Not what I would call "amazing". I would not see Grand Funk again (without Mark Farner), and I would only consider going to a show at Prairie Band if it was a band that I really wanted to see. (and confirmed the band was actually who I wanted to see, unlike this present situation.)

I always have fun when my wife and I go. The only complaint I have is the smoke. Smoke.does not usually bother me, but at the casino, it can be a little much sometimes.

Lately the machines have been cold and the beer has been hot. The dead machines would be a little more tolerable if you could drink a COLD beer while your poking your money into them.

Had a good time. Clean and gave us casino credit for donations.

The room was alright and it was a comp room the machines are very tight but the thing make me the most upset is at the coffee snack bar I bought a cup of coffee and they had no sugar they some kind of artificial sweetener which has something in that I can't have for health reasons

Me and 2 of my friends went last night. The odds was definatley against us. We won absolutely nothing. My first casino experience was @ Oaklawn in hot springs, Arkansas and it was much much better than this one. I wouldn't recommend going unless you just want to give some $$$$ away...

This place is awesome! Some casinos are'workaday'. Not these guys! Its clean and happy! The buffet is SO worth it!

Staff is always friendly. Even though there was some construction going on, Everything was easily accessible. Well LOVE going to prairie band casino and resort!

After 1 day of stay we are ahead cash wise. My significant other did not get piece of luggage as they ran out. He got 15.00 instead.

Just like the Kansas Star... The machines don't pay out worth anything. There were 10 of us total and not a single one of us ever went above the amount we came in with. That's just not right.

Always a great time. Hopefully I'll win one of these days.

Had a great time n got a little lucky for once. It's always good advice to quit while you're ahead so I did...lol.

Very nice place here. Staff we're very polite and welcoming. Never felt so comfortable in a casino before, loved the location especially because away from all the crazy city life

The motel room was very nice, gaming was as expected.

We booked a room over a month ago. For a play and stay. Husband and his friends had a 10:00 tee off time. I have been waiting to check into our room since 9:30 a.m. since I don't golf. You would think they would work with people in this situation. It sure didn't bother them to run my card the day before we even checked in. Check in time is 4:00p.m. but you have to check out by 11:00 a.m.

Beer should be free if you are gambling, just like In Nevada.

Free room, free buffet, And i won $700 what a fabulous night.

Do not bring your service dogs to prairie band casino. They pick and choose which service dogs are permitted in the casino. No emotional support dogs allowed so if you have ptsd, adhd or other emotional illness your dog will not be allowed to be with you in the casino. I even showed Victoria C the security supervisor her certification out of the kindness of my heart and she still would not allow her to be with me. Must be nice a casino can break a federal law!!!!!!

Pleasant atmosphere. The staff was quite friendly and helpful, but the games were not to my liking.

The Sunday brunch buffet is fantastic and loaded with options! Totally worth the price tag.

It was fun and the rooms are nice. Pool is great and very beautiful

The casino is a lot of fun, the free soda is reasonably priced, and the free valet service is a definite bonus

IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY WOULD LOOSEN UP ON THE SLOTS A LITTLE! WE KNOW Y'ALL DIDN'T GET PER CAP LAST TIME CAUSE OF COVID-19, BUT THAT SHOULDN'T JUSTIFY THE ROBBERY I EXPERIENCED YESTERDAY THAT THEY LIKE TO CALL " SLOT PLAY"

If they didn't allow smoking I guess that it would be alright

The employees were nice, friendly, helpful, accommodating, and professional.

The VIP Suites are Awesome! The Staff is quick to supply you with any amenities you may ask for. Amazing service and cleanliness. Definitely worth the stay!!

I love staying here, the hotel is great and the buffet is always amazing.

Love it but, if you are in a smoking room it don't need to smell like smoke just because it's a smoking room.

Always a fun time but 4 stars because the cigerettes can be overwhelming.

Clean and just big enough! Friendly staff. Doesn't smell like cigarettes. I have seen people win some big money! Just wish it was me...haha!
