Good room and service, but smoking is allowed everywhere in the resort. We could smell cigarettes in the elevator, corridors and common areas.
Hotel had amazing views of Lake Tahoe. The room was clean and spacious. The workers were friendly and helpful. They also have a great buffet on the 18th floor that had great food and service.
Very nice and a lot of fun if your thing is to play slot machines
My favorite casino in South Lake Tahoe. Always a fun time.
Not much of a casino goer, but the buffet is great, easy to access, and the arcade is a good time!
Located on main strip, prices were okay, typical smokey casino atmosphere.
This is my 2nd visit here & I can say that this time was better than the first. One reason is because I like the fact that the cashier is the same window as the Rewards window. It's just a little more convenient to get all your transactions done in 1 place. The second reason is because it was more livelier this time. The third is because their slots are looser now than before. It's a nice cozy place to play.
I love the rooms on the 11th floor with balcony overlooking Lake Tahoe and heavenly ski resort very plush and very cozy
It was one of the most beautiful places I ever seen
The rooms are very clean, the service is excellent and they are very attentive.
Good atmosphere. Good food. Didn't stay so can't comment about the hotel.
A friend and I were locked out of our room for over 4 hours as Lacy at the front desk is super super incompetent and didn't care that we were locked out. Despite promising to get it fixed, she didn't. When we turned up nothing happened. After she finally got her "manager", still nothing happened. We had to ask repeatedly to get a bell-hop to come up and open the room. Now we are stuck in the room and can't gamble. Calling the GM / front desk - no one cares.
TLDR: incompetence everywhere, and unlike most Caesars properties they don't care if you can't gamble.
Went to the casino. Decent service and friendly staff but not enough ventilation for all the cigarette smoke and the casino attracted a very weird crowd
The marquee was advertising their sushi restaurant, Sushi Kai, so we thought we'd give it a shot. Walked through the smoke filled gambling area to get upstairs, only to find the sushi restaurant was closed for two weeks, despite being advertised over the front entrance. Was not very pleased.
Very nice staff!! Buffett was so good, great variety & clean comfortable rooms.
Loved it!!! We started at Hard Rock but spent most of our time at Harrah's. Poker Room, plenty of tables, Cabo Wabo! Food was better there too. Staff was super friendly. Delaers and cocktail waitresses we're so nice. Highly recommend it if you are headed to South Tahoe.
Excellent cost benefit for anyone looking to stay in the South Lake Tahoe village. It has free parking and is close to the Heavenly gondola. The room is nice and looks refurbished. During our stay, we had breakfast in the room for free (very simple: Cage, juice, muffin and fruit). The casino and hotel facilities are a little old.
I played the slots and had a good time. I was a huge fan of one of the slots that had a wolfs on it. Great time!
Love their buffet and the American River Cafe. It's also nice that they have an arcade/play area for children.
It's not the worst casino ever but Monte Blue next door is better.
Much cleaner than Harvey's across the street. There was a good selection of table games and a Starbucks in the lobby.
When I win this place is amazing. When I lose this place sucks . But that's gambling. And I love this place.
Only go there at Christmas for the special buffet every year. Used to be really good, but the last two years have been a disappointment for items offered at the rather high price.
Room was huge. Could only connect two devices to wifi without being charged.
The Diamond attendant at checkin was super rude and not answering my questions .. very just trying to get me out of the room ..
Wonderful place to stay for a visit to South Lake Tahoe. Walking distance to shops and good eats.
The Harris Hotel in Lake Tahoe needs a definite facelift it was very gloomy and drab not like the hotels in Vegas at all, the heavenly resort next to the Harris was very nice it's a ski resort and it was gorgeous that's where we'll stay next time
The staff at Harvey's is amazing and the rooms are spacious, but I do find the food choices to be limited and very much overpriced. The casino floor isn't very large, so it can get super crowded on a busy weekend making it hard to get a spot at a table. There always seems to be a fair number of slots open however.
Good amenities, friendly staff. Rooms are standard. Entertainment options are varied and restaurants have a wide range of cost and quality
Had dinner in hotel. Not bad, not good. Servers were very nice. Casino waitresses didn't seem to exist on floor. Starbucks inside had the most unpolite servers.
Rooms are very clean, food and multiple bars are very accommodating
I enjoyed my time. Fairly priced and fun atmosphere.
Harrahs was a new experience for the friend whom I was traveling with. I had fond memories of being in Tahoe years past. It was one destination I had truly used when I wanted to impress a new girlfriend . I had gotten rooms in Caesar s and Harrahs and wowed the date.
I didn t have a favorite though I stayed at Harrahs many times. Harrahs , in my opinion looked run down and poorly maintained at this time. I was looking at the finer details and they were all untucked. Now maybe I just got to it on a bad day, but I was realizing if I had taken a female there this time she would not be impressed like I had so often done in the past, because I clearly was not. So I left disappointed and wondered where the charm had gone that I once loved here in the beautiful city of South Lake Tahoe.
Rooms were nice and clean with amazing views! One of the nice hotels with a casino at South Lake Tahoe!
The floor needed a little vacuuming the first night, but I left a note and they cleaned it up. They also left me a razor and shaving cream in response to another note, which was really kind. Overall it was a nice stay.
All the casinos in South tahoe are full of friendly and helpfull staff members did not stay in the rooms there so no input on that sorry!
Large rooms with double bathrooms.
Best Bartenders at Highlander Bar with great views. Friday Station on 18th, try the Snoopy Salad.
Had to pay $13 parking fee for four hours even if I used the cosine and the restaurant. Not reasonable!
The good - Nice hotel, good restaurants and service.
The bad - Three was a scheduled power outage that wasn't communicated as well as it should have been.
Didn't stay too long, played some blackjack and had a couple drinks. Nice place
Great place. Harrahs for a modern room, Harvey's for an older, themed room. Regardless, great service all around.
You can tell they used to be amazing rooms!... Back in the late 1980's when they were last remodeled. The hotel was/is very well taken care of, but it is definitely dated.
This place has it all. Dinner, drinks, gambling, arcade and more.
Diamond Plus... stayed at alot of places but management is non existent. i have been told multiple time a manager and a host will contact me. i have left messages...calls, voicemails and in person nothing for two days. i would explain all the problems but I don't have the time or energy to white a book. Never stay in this hotel. i have two days of this left.
The dealer was friendly helpful and attentive. the place has great food and atmosphere
It's had a great adventure here. The staffs and VIP Service are very friendly. The Casino floods neat and clean but too much smoke. The room are wonderful and I can see the city and beautiful lake and mountain background. Yes, I don't mind return again.
So, we went to Harrahs for their 18th floor Buffet. The buffet was NOT at all worth it. This is a popular Casino. You would think that they would put out food with good flavor that is cooked well especially for the price. The chicken was dry, the prime rib had no flavor, the BBQ ribs were dry and seemed to just have chilli powder rubbed all over them. The steamed crab legs were okay but the cold crab legs were so wet that we couldnt eat them. Big props to the Korean ribs though. They were amazing. I would have loaded up on those for sure. Also they did have a very nice dessert section. And their staff was very nice, courteous, and helpful. I would not go back. Don't waste your money.
Great buffet, casino and arcade. great location too
Its been a blast! Great location and walking distance to everything you could want! Right on the State line.
Been here many times. It's a decent place to stay. Rooms are clean. Staff are nice.
