I am a regular at Caesar's properties but this one was way overpriced for what you get. you couldn't play blackjack for less than $25 which I can deal with, but what I can't deal with is a crab's table that's a $25 minimum. The people were out of control with Corona virus rules in some areas and then it was a free for all in other areas. Really disappointed in this Caesar's property and I absolutely love Caesar's properties.

Stopped by to kill some time gambling. The interior air is pretty smoky, so we didn't stay long. Played some penny slots and saw that they had $5 blackjack tables - may come back for that in the future.

Harrah's Lake Tahoe has clean facilities and friendly staff. I've been to this casino many times and have yet to be disappointed. It's conveniently located in Stateline so you're right next to everything you need. The slot machines are fun and varied. Table games are $10 min, however, so if that's your thing check out Hard Rock.

The only problems I had with the peppermill is that their restaurant cannot serve eggs and the cooks have no pride in their work. second problem was the elevator ride that took us 40 minutes to leave during checkout make sure to leave before.
Other than that the peppermill had the most sanitary environment and partitions for all their games. I just wish that people knew how to play craps without slowing down the table.
my room had a hot tub and a steam shower which was the best part of the trip since everything else is shut down. We also did the couples massage which was totally awesome and worth the money. Again do not eat at the Milano their food has no integrity and it's $50 for breakfast.

Tuesday night blues.. this was super fun! It's a local band and they do the best cover of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" that I have ever heard... wow.. the band plays first hour with their lead female vocalist and then second hour with a guest vocalist.

First time in Lake Tahoe. I came to this hotel for a seminar. The checking process was fast but the lady never told me that it will be a fee for parking. I parked the first 2 days for free and the third day a very rude man without any manners approached to our car asking for $13 parking fee. I tried to explained that we didn't pay for parking the previous days and nobody told us that there will be a fee for parking, but He was so aggressive and I got scare and paid with a credit card. When I went to the front desk in the hotel the lady explained me that it was something new that the parking it was no free anymore, but she never explained that the first day. She called the supervisor and he waved us the resort fee for one day for the inconvenient. The hotel is in a good location the room was clean and the indoor pool was good also . I am giving the 4 stars for the parking inconvenient. If I come back to Lake Tahoe I will stay here again

So FYI according to Sharron the manager of the hotel the rooms you see online are the same as the rooms they have. But what you see is not what you get. The room I had booked a was a Executive Mountain View Spa Suite. I did not get that room. I was told I did but the pictures speak for themselves. Furthermore the front desk associates are very aggressive and even attempted to speak over me with a forceful tone and proceeded to give me misinformation. I do not feel like this long drive to enjoy a getaway as the offer I was given stated is going to be anything that I imagined. 3 stars for now. I will update this soon

California bar at Harrah's is one my favorite places to grab a drink and take in the sights. Probably the busiest casino in Tahoe with a convenient tunnel linking Harveys -especially useful when it's 10 degrees outside.

We are sitting in our room as I type this. While I completely understand the Covid related changes, there are a few things that seem arbitrary. We booked through our credit card as a way to use an accumulation of points. I am aware that doing so makes our reservation a "third party" reservation. What bothers me is that I don't believe this type of booking means service and accommodations need to be compromised. Particularly during Covid when books are low and profits are reduced. When we booked, we paid extra for an upgraded room with a king bed. We hop d that this would translate to an updated room with a view. What we received, however was an older room on the side of the tower with a view of the parking structure and adjacent second level parking over the main entrance. We were not given a room with a king sized bed and when we expressed our dissatisfaction, the woman at the front desk was abrupt, and responded with an attitude that basically told us that as "third party booking customers" get what they get". (Translation? Rooms on the side of the tower, not yet updated)

Most of the staff during our visit has been nice. I see plenty of personnel cleaning throughout the casino. Cocktail staff have been attentive, but it does seem that they are understaffed, and managing large areas, which makes it a bit challenging to find them. They are, however pleasant and swift once you place an order.

The two full sized beds are comfortable, albeit, small. The linens are soft and the pillows good. The room itself is spacious and having two bathrooms is a novelty that ended up being kinda nice.

The fact that our reservation included the "resort fee" is an irritation because resort fees are fees to cover the "extras", but during Covid, there a fewer amenities that are basic, much less extras. So...that should be waived during this challenging time. Seriously. The fact that it provides the wifi I'm currently using is comical as it is quite S L O W. Makes me wonder how they can charge when the hotel is operating at even 50% capacity.

Our room was disappointing mostly because we paid for an upgrade and had expectations in line with photographs on the website. (This is not uncommon, I should know better than to trust the property photos)

None of this has ruined our trip, we knew going in that things would be different; we are not unreasonably demanding, we always manage to have a great time. We travel in a variety of ways with a variety of accommodations. We initially planned on finding an air bnb or cabin, but thought it might be nice to gamble when we weren't skiing.

Hmmn..I guess we should have gone w The the initial plan....
