Harrah's Casino, North Kansas City, MO Review

I'll never go back, my family will never go back. Booked over a week in advance had a confirmation number and waited over an hour in the lobby with no one concerned one bit about our situation. The next day the bank said we were charged over$100.00 for a room they did was never booked. It was my 50th birthday and people were coming from out of town. Finally upset and not knowing what to do because they didn't offer to help in any way we left for another casino. Thankfully it was a much better experience and even though it wasn't their fault or problem they payed for my dinner. Thankfully the people at the bank are smart enough to take the charge off the card but this should have never taken place in the first place. I'm red hot mad and will never use the establishment again (

Dead after 2 am, people must not have the spending money like they used to

Have you listened to your outdated phone message! It your sites aren t managed and trying to find out your opening date is ridiculous. Things change daily and your messages are days weeks months old. Take some pride and value your guests more than this. Very poor communications!

Usually have a fair amount of tables in the high limit blackjack open and lower limit tables also. Good sized enclosed poker room with good action. I don't play machines so I have no review for them.

The place has not been updated and most the machine are old slot machines.

Just sat at the bar to watch basketball games. The service was pretty good and the food wasn't bad. Had a few beers and buffalo chicken nachos.

Real hole in the wall. The decor looked like something from the early 2000's and it honestly looked like that was the last time the room was cleaned as well.

I ate it winning streaks and the chicken tenders were so hard I couldn't eat them Abby the new waitress did not even get a manager it was very disappointing and then I ate at the new restaurant downstairs and it was terrible $6.45 for two little biscuits and gravy they couldn't give me a refund because they couldn't find the manager another disappointment we spend too much money playing to get back food that is unacceptable

I always enjoy myself at Harrahs. Everyone is so friendly, and goes out of their way to say hello.

The hotel is acceptable. It has some stains in the halls ad on furniture but nothing too major, just normal wear and tear. The lady that we talked to at the front desk acted like we weren't worth her time. All the other people we interacted with though were great. The bathroom in the rooms in the Las Vegas tower is amazing.

Friendly staff, good sized casino. Very small non smoking area on the second floor.

I had a great time yesterday. They have so many new slots. I will be returning this Thursday to play the new Buffalo slot, it has up to 5 times multiplier.

I must say this was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The room was falling apart. The wallpaper is coming off the walls and they desperately need some repairs and paint. The bed was comfortable though.

The casino was mediocre at best. Not enough open tables and slow drink service.

The sports bar called Winning Streak was probably one of the worst experiences ever. We had a group of people and went to the restaurant that was mostly empty and were told there was a 25 minute wait. The group decided to go somewhere else but my wife and I stayed. It took 17 minutes for them to get our drink order. Our dinner arrived before our appetizer and the food was not very good. I could understand if they were busy. However there were at least 7 people working and there were only 20 customers there. Terrible service.

We went to Harrah's to play craps. I was pretty shocked you're actually still allowed to smoke inside the casino, however they seemed to have some pretty good ventilation because it wasn't terrible, but still kind of stinky. It's not a super fancy place, and is looking a bit aged, but the staff was nice, and the people were helpful.

Always a great environment, fun people. The go to spot!! $$$$$$

Room was good and clean, walls need to be painted, bathroom was good. Stayed overnight and had a good stay, nothing to brag about.

The dealers at the casino we're very polite and sociable. There were also plenty of open seats at the poker tables to accommodate everyone in our group even on a busy Saturday night.

Lot of nice people live in North Kansas but you don't mess with the police they are not nice. The attitude I got with my ticket prove that. Lol

Smoky atmosphere and a fight near the craps table didn't make for the best of nights. Lots of gambling can be done though, so that's fun (if you win). Free WiFi if you give them your email address, which is nice.

A fun and easy stay. Kids and mom and dad enjoy it.

Nice facilities, but not too nice... Nice, big playing floor, but not too big. Good option if you are having trouble deciding between Ameristar and 7th Street... Ha

Very Nice, but older. No microwave, no safe. Free Valet with Stay. As upscale as Harrah's is suppose to be, they should PROVIDE BETTER/MORE COMPLIMENTARY PERKS DURING YOUR STAY.

The hotel rooms are nice, super fluffy pillows. But the water is almost slimy. Then I have rarely even gotten bonuses when i play the slot machines. It hit or miss...

This place has the most unprofessional staff. The rooms were over priced and dirty. Also the phone line did not connect to the front desk nor the operator. I will never be coming back.

We ate dinner at 39 steakhouse. Great meal and the service was very good.

Worst hotel and casino in KC, Mo. Would not stay here. Broken elevators. Poor service at front desk. Dirty rooms.

Good place to chill and have a beer.. You win some you lose some.. But Argosy is the place to be if you looking to see pretty women.. Guaranteed

The room that I stayed in had dirty linen with blood on it and the tub and there was roaches in the tub. I'm very disappointed in my room.

Good for a night of fun. I have been to better casinos by Harrah's.

fun place , if you can win . I hear and see people win often to be honest. Not my luck though lol , but still a good place to go . Lots of fun playing slots.

It's all glitz and glamor, bells and whistles and beeps and lights, flashing and blaring, in other words, your typical casino. The help is very polite and very helpful. The machines are no easier to win on than any other machines and most people go home losers. A few makeups out of their losses from prior visits, but never all of them. It is a nice place to visit

Did not stay in the hotel or partake in the food available to patrons. The casino is fun though. Good service and good games! Will return when I can afford it

I have been going to Harrah's since they came to Kansas city, they consistently treat me like they know me and mostly they do. It's not too big and the food is always very good.

If they had $5 hand 3-2 blackjack every day I'd give them 5 stars, but most of the time the $5 table is 6-5 blackjack.

Very outdated room. Expensive bar drinks. OK casino.
