Happy's Pizza Review

I had to wait almost two hours for my food! They also got my order wrong! They were extremely rude on the phone and when the delivery guy finally delivered my food he informed me that the store manager was answering the phone! That made me even more upset that, that was the store manager being so rude and disrespectful! I'll spend my money elsewhere!

I've been a true fan of Happy's since the day they opened about 10 or so years ago on Schaefer and 6 Mile and the food was always awesome, but lately everything seems to be going down hill. I placed an order two weeks ago for pickup and when I went to get it they said they didn't have my order and I showed them the time I called on my phone, now they gave me some burnt stuffed cheese bread. I'm just wondering how the person that preped fhe food after it cooked didn't realize the breas was burnt...wow!! You guys need better srandards when food goes out to customers. My son had to wait over 2 hours for a delivery order that was messed up. This is not a good look...smh!!!

They re always burning the stuffed cheese bread, forgetting the sauce on the side & the rib tips are horrible. One time they delivered the completely wrong order to my house, and when they came back they asked for it back so I m assuming they still brought it to whoever ordered it which is nasty

Called at 11:34pm in an attempt to place a delivery order. Employee only said, "walk ins only" and promptly hung up. Very rude. Will never bring future business to this establishment.

Dear Happy. I am not happy.

1. We asked for wedges. You gave us regular fries.
2. The Cajun fries were terrible. Someone threw Cajun season over the top but the bottom was regular and the top was so concentrated that it was inedible.

I will not be getting potatoes from here again.

This spot is more miss than hit. It's saving grace is it's cheap...but you get what you pay for. I live a few blocks away but delivery is not swift.

I stopped ordering much in favor of Domino's when they were much farther away but quicker. Then they to got slow...and remained more expensive.

I just went last night and my chicken bacon ranch pizza had little ranch, tough chicken and a dry crust. NEVER GET CHICKEN ON PIZZA OR IN SUBS from that place, folks!

Captive eater though.... *sighs*

Just left very disappointed first and last time I asked that my salad have no cheese they put extra cheese customer service was rude

The cashier always has a bad attitude and the food isn't that great anymore. I won't be back.

Service was serious about hot food delivery .PRICES EQUAL / LARGE PORTIONS
VERY PROFESSION...CLEAN STORE AND HONEST ....PEOPLE....I LIKE THE WAY THE HANDLED MY LARGE ORDERS ...I HAVE RETURNED MANY OF TIMES ..... I LIKE THIS PLACE.....

The place seemed unsafe, had bars over ever window, the parking lot security came parked by car, i won't be back

Terrible service! These people have no customer service at all. They did not deliver my order until 2 hours later and it was wrong. They then told me to come pick it after I already paid the delivery charge. Never spending another dollar at this place ever again.

I Googled Happy's Pizza in metro Detroit and called to verify the the location. In doing so, the young woman who answered the phone yelled, "I can't hear you!" When I asked to confirm the location, she did so and hung up without saying anything further.
I can't think of any worse way to discourage patronage of a business than service with an attitude. I can't speak to the quality of food, but after that rude greeting I didn't want to change it.
This happened on Oct 24, 2020 @ approximately 6:24pm.

I placed my order at 3:35 pm Spoke With an young man At 4:45 pm and he stated my food was on it's way ,spoke with an young lady (whom was very nice) at 5:30 and she stated she just got there and I'm guessing she's the reason I have a free pop with my order. My food did not arrive until 6:00 pm I will never order from here again it's just not worth it then to receive my order cold and waffles from a grocery store ,a half of scoop of chilli on my fries . Just Cook your own food , less of a hassle

Love their food so much! Is it worth spending ? Yes it is.

The ribs are delicious and the meat is falling off the bone I am so happy that Happy's Pizza I would definitely order more and thank you for giving me the discount from off your website I am a very pleased and happy customer

i work at the near by hospital , we order large orders weekly , for the most part u cant BEAT the service..... fastest delivery in the city . the food is always right and very reasonable for my family pocket book . the STORE is clean and updated .... the 2 managers i have been wking with really care and make a difference .
NO ONE IS PERFECT I WK IN THE MOST PROFESSIONAL SETTING ,
A HOSPITAL AND ITS NOT EASY PUTTING OUT 250 TICKETS A DAY ............

TERRIBLE EVERYTHING....FOOD TOOK 2 HRS TO BE DELIVERED. THE PIZZA HAD BEEN SMASHED IN THE BOX. ALL MY TOPPINGS WERE STUCK TO THE TOP OF THE BOX. IM JUST PISSED THE HELL OFF WITH THEM. The driver was THE BEST. She was professional and kind and expeditious

The store itself, the Food was delicious..... pizza Hot and Good.... we ordered from another restaurant and waited 2 and a half hours they never delivered or apologized.... Happys took 30 TOTAL ....Happys will be our pizza spot from now on... Thanks guys for your great service and food!

I ordered a med meat pizza and 1lb boneless wings @ 902 it's 952 still haven't received my order

I placed an online order and after an hour I called and was told that they were pulling up. But still no show. Called back to cancel and was told that they could not cancel the order. Never order from the one on Schaeffer in Detroit.

Great after taking my order I asked young lady how long will it be before my order is ready she told me 20 minutes it was ready in 20 minutes

By far the worst experience i have ever had buying a pizza. First they made my order wrong. I asked for a deep dish pizza with double pepperoni, but received a deep dish pizza with double bacon. I returned the pizza and the re-made my pizza. This time to my surprise when i get home i have a pepperoni pizza but not double pepperoni. One slice doesn't have any pepperoni on it, two other slices have one pepperoni on it and the remaining slices have only 2 pepperoni on it. I could be tripping but if that is double pepperoni what is a regular pepperoni pizza.

Okay food. Nothing to write home about the bulk of the three stars come from the service. She was nice which most of the servers usually are. I don't know, it's just something about Happy's Pizza that misses the mark sometimes. At least Little Caesars has value and their food has improved.

BUT I will say their cheese bread has gotten immensely better!

Ordered food for my little sister and the delivery driver was very rude to her,For that I won't spend money here again!!!!

Ordered Fish and Chips. Batter Dipped. Got processed Cajun perch or catfish, can't tell. Called to let them know, TJ, told me they were out of fish and chips, couldn't help me, they gave them to someone else, incorrectly. TJ, from the Schaffer location, then proceeds to tell me that policy is that they can't give me more than a $5.00 credit! My meal was $9.99! I don't want or like their processed fish that I could've prepared myself from GFS!! SO UNHAPPY from Happy's Pizza on Schaffer!!

Completely idiotic business practices..I placed an online order, which was confirmed via the website and the email they sent me. Then they call, I guess to further verify the order (who does that), and get my vm....they leave a VM that says, "I'm calling about your delivery, I mean pick up" and then it hangs up. Meanwhile, I go to the store to retrieve my order and they inform me that they voided my order because I didn't answer their call. Number one, how many forms of verification do you need to know I wanted the food I logged in to purchase (my card, name, billing address and CCV matched), the sent me an email....should I have supplied a blood sample too or a CT scan of my empty stomach. Number two, what kind of message was that...it's 2014, we don't know how to leave complete voicemail's stating the intent of our call???, Number three, there was NOTHING done or even offered to correct the problem, not in the store, not by me calling the number that left me the VM; I wasn't looking for 200 bucks worth of free food, but maybe a free delivery for the inconvenience of coming out in 10 degree weather would've appreciated. Very very poor customer service and the LAST TIME I ORDER FROM HAPPY'S PIZZA. I'm quite happy there are other choices!

Whoever answers the phone needs to be fired! They can never seem to get the order right and has zero sympathy for your time and gas! Its seriously ridiculous and the manager might want to rethink his or her staff!!!

The service and food was great! From the order taker, to the delvery driver, plus the pizza tasted delicious!

We have ordered several times in last few months. Always disgusting tasting and cold, one driver was even talking on his cell phone when he delivered the pizzas another called to say he was outside rather than actually knocking and delivering it like we paid for. We will not waste money ordering from here again.

You think you are getting rib tips...you open the container and you get a bunch of bones...not worth your hard earned money... It's always like that there ...I haven't ordered there in years ...some things don't change... never again!!!!

I ordered one evening and they told me 45 mins. After an hour and a half I cancelled my order. Tried to order again 11 am week later manager called to tell me I couldn't order from them on Friday try again Monday. So I said ok I got it that I know what to do so he stated ok I got your address. Rude service and police report made.

This is a dangerous sketchy dystopian nightmare of a restaurant, decked out in thick bullet-proof glass. Who needs that kind of maximum security prison environment when they are casually going to pick up a mediocre pizza?

Asked for dinner specials lady says they dont have any Asked for rib tip dinner got it but the ribs were tough top much oil fries were over cooked and now my stomach is on 10. 12 hours later i have to go to work in pain and extremely gassy tough ribs overcooked fries and the portions were horrible too im not sure if the food was old but this has never happened when i eat ribs only here

I ve had two delivery orders today and yesterday night and the young lady who took my order seems to have an attitude problem, doesn t seem to listen well because she talked over me, doesn t like to be asked a question and hangs up without warning. She needs some phone customer service training because it s rude and unprofessional.
