Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa Review

After being closed because if Covid-19, I had my wonderful long-awaited massage. What a treat! Donald was very profession and listened to my concerns.

My first experience at hand and Stone was outstanding! From the time I walked in to hand and Stone on Hooper Avenue in toms River I was treated like I was the only client in the room. The massage therapist was very professional and very knowledgeable. I had a great massage and in the staff and the receptionist everyone was wonderful. I can t wait to go back again

Amie is your absolute go to girl for facials and waxing. She is so knowledgeable about what your specific skin needs are and how to treat it. She is beyond gentle with her waxing skills, and always making you feel comfortable and super professional!!! She's the reason I go to this location!!!

I have been a customer of the Toms River Hand and Stone facility for over seven years. I continue because of the fantastic service I always receive. I get massages and facials on a monthly basis. I recommend without hesitation Lillian for your facial and Tony for your massage. Both deliver outstanding service, professionalism and care. If you are thinking of getting a either one of theses services, think of the Toms River Hand and Stone as your choice.

I signed up for a membership a few months ago and I am so glad I did. I am loving the relaxing massage once a month and the option of scheduling either a massage or facial monthly. I love the extra add-ons and I am excited to try each one. I just booked a massage for my birthday with the cold stone facial add-on. Lucy does a great massage and she always makes sure I am comfortable. I highly recommend her.

My massage with Kristin was great! The pressure was just what I specified. I was so relaxed that I just wanted to lay there forever...lol. the counter staff is very friendly as well as helpful and pleasant. The updated venue is spacious and welcoming! I've been a member since Hand and Stone started in Silverton. I've never been disappointed!

The service is fantastic, from the receptionist to the masseuse. There is no waiting, you get in at your specified appointment time, the girls at the desk are professional and very nice, the place is extremely clean and relaxing. I absolutely love going to Hand and Stone.

I have been going there since November and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is calming and pleasant. The massages are amazing and they make sure to ask specifics about how you want your massage and if there s a place you want to focus on. The staff are all sweet and at the end they provide two types of water, either normal cold water or the other type they have that day. I m so happy I became a member it s really helped me so much.

We are members and having tried many of the services by various employees who all are great, here are my two ABSOLUTE FAVORITES!!!!!! Lynne for massage and Lillian for facials, no ifs ands or buts about it they are the top in their fields. The whole staff is friendly, and the environment is clean and friendly, all are very good but my two fans had to have a special shout out!

Was not impressed. The first time i had a massage that the face was the last part of the body massaged after working on the feet.

I put medium because i did not want a deep tissue massage, however their was hardly any pressure applied. Seemed like the person did not care.

Another fantastic massage with Nikki. Left relaxed and less stressed!

Went in for a prenatal massage and a facial. The facial was nice but the massage left me feeling no pain relief. I came in with problems with sciatic pain, neck and shoulder pain. Majority of the time was spent lightly massaging my arms and legs and what felt like 5 minutes on my back, where I most of my concerns were. This was my first time getting a prenatal massage. I don t know if that is what a prenatal massage is but I left feeling no relief at all.

Had an amazing facial with Danielle. She is so good and really understands my skin. The place has been renovated and it is nicely done and clean. Front office staff is very nice.

Hand and Stone in Toms River is always a great experience! No matter who your therapist is your massage will be relaxing and help ease any aches and pains. Everyone who works at this facility is helpful, warm and welcoming and they are ready and willing to make sure that your experience is exceptional.

I am a member and look forward to all of my visits. In fact I have a 5:00 appointment today with the best therapist in the world, Breanna.
I have gone to Punta Cana and had spa treatments and they are totally different than what is offered here. Breanna knows exactly how to work on your most troubling spots. She is always so kind and professional. I can not say enough about her. I just love the low tone of music and just the right amount of light in the room to force the mind and body to relax. After all, isn't that what we all pay for! The relaxation starts in the lobby. The girls at the desk are friendly and professional. If you have never treated yourself to a full body massage, it's a must do bucket list item. It took me to the age of 54 to learn to do something for myself at least once a month and the Toms River Hand and Stone Spa is it.

The new renovations are beautiful. Judi is wonderful and very knowledgeable. I tried the CBD oil for the first and it was amazing. I will differently will try it again. I go once a month.

I needed a product while quarantining when I received an email about ordering from Hand and Stone in Toms River and I decided to give it a try. It was a great experience! Michele got back to me right away and we scheduled a time for pick-up. I texted her when I arrived and she gave me a smile and a wave & placed my order outside the door where I could safely pick it up. Payment was made over the phone so I was good to go!

EXCELLENT!!!! Went here for a couples massage and was so concerned my husband wouldnt be comfortable (his first time and it was a surprise!!) but it was awesome. Great therapists! WOnderful, relaxing atmosphere! Couldnt ask for better!

I have been going here monthly for years for facials and other services. From the employees to the atmosphere, it s always a fantastic experience. They are always adding new services and enhancements to stay current. It s a great place to go and relax!

I got a gift card for Christmas and ended up signing up for the monthly membership. So far I ve been twice for facials and I have enjoyed them very much. I will continue my membership in hopes to keep my stress levels down. The new renovations of the Toms River location are lovely. They seem to have expanded their skin care/retail section as well.. something I look forward to monthly now.

My husband and I went in for a couples massage on Saturday and mine was a prenatal massage. It was a first time at Hand and Stone for both of us and we were extremely impressed! We had Kelly and Holly for our massages and both were fantastic. We wound up booking another for next month before we left!

I had a dermalinfusion facial with Lisa about a week ago and it was a great experience. Lisa is great, she is very knowledgeable, she explained the process to me and also introduced me to skin care products that is right for my skin. The Toms River location has been renovated and is just beautiful, very relaxed environment and a friendly staff. I will be returning again soon.

So happy to have found Judy! I ve gone in with a headache and the first place she touches me is right where the pain is coming from. She is intuitive and so talented. Make sure you call in advance because she gets booked and you ll need to schedule in advance to get in with her!!

I can t remember my massage therapists name I think it was Cris?? But she was great! I always have horrible pain on my right shoulder blade and she helped work some of it out! It s gonna take more than one time to make it better and continuous help but thanks to her I m starting to feel better!

My therapist is amazing! She unlocks my stiff muscles and creaky joints.

I always leave Hand and Stone feeling refreshed and relaxed after my massage. I especially like the rejuvenating effects of the Himalayan salt. It is a monthly gift I give to myself.

During the Covid-19 situation I was leery about getting a massage, but everything in the store felt very clean, orderly, and professional. I was desperately needing a massage due to a shoulder issue and I left there feeling much better! Jennifer in the Toms River NJ location did a great job! The staff was also very friendly, I appreciate that.

I had a wonderfully relaxing facial with Lillian. She always recommends the perfect services that make my face look amazing! The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful as well.

The people are super friendly and my massage therapist was so nice but my massage was terrible. I asked for firm pressure and I couldn't even feel it. I asked for more pressure after a few minutes and no difference. I'm not a deep tissue massage person either but I do like to feel it. I think I might have fallen asleep at 1 point because I felt nothing. I was going to let the girls at the front desk know but they never asked. Also I'm not a member so I paid $109.00 to nap.

Follow up to this, the manager called me and helped me find a wonderful therapist named Kelsey and she is wonderful! She is the best massage therapist I've been to in a very long time so thank you so much for all your help and I have become a member. Great management helped turn a terrible experience into a great one. Thank you

I have been a member for a long time and have always been satisfied but lately no one answers the phone so it has been very hard to make an appointment?

I had an amazing first time there tonight in Toms River on Hooper Avenue. I received a gift certificate for Christmas, from a friend, and I went for a waxing. While there, I noticed the atmosphere felt different than massage envy, where I have been going for 1 year. While waiting to be called in for my waxing I noticed the difference from Hand and Stone and Massage Envy, right away. The workers greeted people by their names and said things like, I remember you from last time and it's great to see you again and it was genuine. I was told of the points system you have here and this is something that Massage Envy does not have. The energy felt different in there to me, it felt light and relaxing. I haven't ever felt this with Massage Envy. Because of the feeling I received while being there I called Massage Envy when I left and cancelled my membership which expires next month and I will be a Hand and Stone girl going forward. Thanks for the warm welcome, I liked what I saw.

I came today for my first facial. Everything was pleasant from the moment I walked in, very clean and welcoming. . I had lori she was fantastic, she informed me so much on skincare and was absolutely amazing at giving a facial. She really showed interest in my skin and what was needed to be targeted the most. Shes excellent and I will be back with her once a month!

I've gone to Hand and Stone before (different locations), but they really blew me away with their Covid precautions the most recent time I went. It was clean and well-organized, and I felt very safe.

Sorry I seem to be the only one. But, friendly staff however I feel like I paid $150 to have oil applied to my body. I won't mention names, my massage therapist just wasn't into it.

Great massages but the staff working the front aren t always the nicest so I d rather try other locations

The SPA has a very positive vibe. I didn't feel rushed, or pressured to purchase any products or services that I didn't need/or want. My experience was amazing. I will return.
