I had a 12:30 appointment today, I arrived 15 minutes early for my 22K service. Angel Lopez was my service agent and he did a great job. He said that it would be about 1 hour - 40 minutes later he called to let me know that my car was done. Everything was check, fixed and covered by my policy - no cost.

Quick, totally transparent and low pressure. Started with the internet listing and followed up with a test drive - no bait and switch, nothing different from the web listing. Car was as advertised and in great shape. Really like the separate Used Car group; made buying my car easy and stressless.

I have purchased 5 cars for me and my family here with pretty good success over the years. The service department was never my favorite though. But this review is for used car they sold my (older) father yesterday. (he dident have me come BIG mistake) The car was an old rental that was trashed. It had been in an accident that was not disclosed, mud all over the under carriage, broken wheel liners, replacement headlights, rusty exhaust system. The car has 40,000 miles with all these issues he could have bought a new one for 5k more.... DO NOT TRUST THEM ON A USED CAR

My husband and I started looking for a Toyota Tacoma about 3 weeks ago- we have always owned Toyota's and have never thought of purchasing anything else- we were initially looking into used, thinking that was our best option. We looked into several dealers in our area (Montclair, Pomona, Claremont...) with no luck (on what we thought was a good deal for us). My husband came across a 2017 Tacoma which we were considering. We had to go out of town (Ensenada) for the weekend and had planned on doing this on Sunday on our way back from Ensenada, which was a 4 hour drive.
Fernando Leon from Hamer Toyota, called us Saturday morning on our way to Ensenada to notify us that the 2017 Tacoma had been sold but that he could get us a better deal on a NEW, 2018 !! WHAT!!, I of course had a lot of questions which he answered -- I explained the situation to him and told him a price range where we were comfortable with-- he promised to work on a good DEAL and keept in touch with me throughout the weekend. We finally came to an agreement on a price... i explained to him that I was going to come straight from ENSENADA and did not want to hassle. He assured me that was not going to happen.
He refereed us to STEVE DENSON -- who contacted us immediately with information and prices. Steve stayed in contact all weeked... who does that??
Long story short -- we came back from Ensenada Sunday morning drove all the way to Hamer Toyota - mind you we had not eaten and were not in the mood to hassle. We though "okay lets see if they keep their word?" Steve was very nice, helpful, informative and professional. He gave an even better price that Fernado had qutoed us--SCORE!! While we were with (ERIC IN FINANCING) also nice- Fernando came in to introduce himself -- super nice.
We drove off with our NEW 2018 Tacoma -- Steve even helped us with Bluetooth and setting up my husbands contacts-- WOW!! that's what i call customer service.
thank you again Hamer Toyota -- we are very pleased with our purchase!!

Arrived to no line. Routine maintenance that usual...

Arrived to no line. Routine maintenance that usually take 45mins to 1.5hrs when busy. Been here for over 3 hrs. Everyone has left that came after me. Mr Daniel Ochoa was no help to me. Very unsatisfied. Will probably take my business elsewhere next time.

Vic Espinoza helped me out with leasing my new Corolla. It was the fastest, easiest experience I ve ever had at a dealership. Federico Ayala also helped me with financing, and he also made the process quick and painless. Would definitely get another car from Hamer Toyota because of them :)

The salesman, Federico Ayala, is very accommodating. I have been a Toyota owner for more than 10 yrs.and have been leasing all my cars from Toyota. I am very satisfied with doing business with them till present. Moreover, this is my 7th Toyota car on lease.

It was a fair experience, Angel took a lot of time to show me around and did not pressure me at all , he only told me the normal amount of not true statements you may expect from a car salesman.

The manager seemed to be a good person, he did not want to give me the price Hamer had accorded with True Car, but finally he did.

Shuttle/customer service is non existent. I waited from 10:30am until after 4:00pm for the advisor to schedule to pick me up, at home, to pick up my repaired vehicle. I hope the repair is better than their customer service. I don't know what's changed at Hamer; I've dealt with them since 1979 and I've never seen a mess like this. I guess it's whom you employee these day's!

So a week ago we decided to come to Hamer Toyota for their good reviews and better selection. We were in interested in this beautiful XLE Red Flare Pearl CHR. We spoke with Hector Sanchez (salesman) started off nice very knowledgeable about cars. We then told him we were trading in a 2017 Corolla. He then comes back with a different attitude basically telling us it's not going to work the payments are way to high. We said ok we shook hands and that was the end of it. The next day my sister through her job gets us a discount for the car she then sends a message to Hamer and we then got a call from Nicole a consultant.

She gives us this really great offer we couldn't refuse basically right on budget mind you we told her we are doing a TRADE IN! We then said are you sure we are coming from BAKERSFIELD we were just there last night. She said "DONT QUOTE ME BUT ITS A ESTIMATION" ok we thought ok what big of a difference can it be she is say$309 with trade in. Maybe we can get it somewhere in the high $300s When Hector wanted a $500 minimum. We come in spoke with Hector and his attitude was way different basically says we cant give you that monthly low payment with a trade in. We asked him to call Nicole he refused he kept talking to his manager. So we then said let's speak to the manager. The manager was not budging either he said with the work discount was enough off. Long story short they dont care to help go to Frontier Toyota you get better customer service and you get treated like family. Nicole Quest had great customer service and was caring about our situation.

Hammer toyota is the worst place to buy your car.... When we went to buy my dads car They get us all confuse with alot of numbers and if u dont agree with them for what they are saying they get mad and as first buyer they sell u all they want. We were first time buyers as u know. Its the worst place people please dont buy in there my dad got a truck on 2015 renting to buy when he explained to the saler he wanted to buy he say ok but in the papers he write down renting long story short they told my dad to not worried that he can buy anytime they told him he would pay the difference and after he paid for 48 months $578($28,197) then they told him he needs to start all over for 39 months more but the difference is instead of paying $578 he will be paying $723 for 39 months..again in others words he needs to pay more than$27,744 so total amouth for a toyota tacoma para un primer vez comprador es $55,941 dlls WORST BUY EVER AND I FEEL GUILTY BECAUSE I CONVINCE HIM TO GET A NEW CAR

My experience was nearly perfect. One person almost ruined my entire experience for everyone. Raymond, Reno and John were all great. They were able to answer all my questions. Understood what I was looking for. This was 5th dealership I had been to that day and I had many offers on the table. They offered me a good enough deal for me to decide to go through with it.
(This is where it turns) I let them run my credit which I know is in great condition. Some manager guy (who I had not met yet) comes up to me without introducing himself and started feeding me lies. Told me that he can t give me anything lower than 6.7 apr. I said then we don t have a deal and I ll go to my bank to get the loan. He then said that in order for my bank to give me the loan I would need to sign there contact at 6.7 apr and then I could come back with my banks loan to pay it off. I knew this was BS. I was ready to leave. Then the original people I was negotiating the deal came out and offered me the apr we actually discussed. 0 stars for the manager. 5 stars for Raymond. 5 stars for Reno. 5 stars for the John! At the end of the day I walked out with a car I love and a deal I was looking for

I ordered parts online, after a stressful experience during shipment, Hector- from the online parts dept assisted me to get my order handed to me. ($300 value) Hector kept me informed every step of the process. Wow, soooo impressed. Being a female we usually get pushed around in the auto biz but Hector made me feel comfortable after explaining my situation to him. I cannot thank him enough. Thanks, Hector!!!
