Hello my name is Clifford Wyatt I had a most enjoyable visit to your jeep service department I am from Oregon and my jeep was running very poorly on Sunday during an excursion to kill devil hills. I call Monday to your dealership at 9:00 am they were able to give me a 10 am appointment and got me right in upon arrival. AL my assigned service writer was extremely professional and courteous. They were not able to verify my complaint but did find a PCM reflash that did fix the problem. please pass KUDOS to your staff Al the tech and receptionist all were very helpful and we are back on vacation in Williamsburg and getting ready to head for D.C.

I picked up my 07' Dodge Charger Tuesday from this...

I picked up my 07' Dodge Charger Tuesday from this location from having some oil leak work done to it. While driving down the street after picking my car up I notice that it is smoking. I'm thinking that's the oil burning off the pipes that previously leaked out. Once I am almost home I stop at a gas station to get gas and something tells me to check my car. After doing so I see that my car is still leaking oil badly. Everything was fixed except the actual things causing the oil leak because of a lack of knowledge and very poor communication from the mechanic who diagnosed my car. My service provider and I had a miscommunication in which she told me I had a valve cover gasket leak. That miscommunication was and is on me, but the reason I am writing this bad review and will be going back up to dodge and will be speaking to a supervisor to make a complaint and something will need to be done to help me is because the mechanic who diagnosed my car failed to inform my service provider that I have a oil pan gasket and rear main seal leak. I don't know how you can manage to do so, but he or she did. Me driving my car home could've caused my engine to lock up and thaqt could've cost me 3K. I will be in touch dodge!

I went there to help my friend find a car, I have to say it was very pleasant. Normally when I go to a dealership I expect for the sales people to be all over us, this was far from the case here. Our salesperson David Pridgen was delightful, he knew what he was talking about and worked with my friend to get her drream car. He wasn't pushy, and after meeting my friend he found the perfect car to fit her personality and needs. The vehicle she ended up driving away with was a 2016 jeep renegade. The car was well taken care of and they detailed it while they filled out paperwork. I would highit recommend you give David Pridgen at hall auto a call! He will take care of you!

She gave me suggestions and his advice, but was in no way pushy what-so-ever. After I decided on a car the process was absolutely painless. So quick and professional. I wish I didn t even have to give them one star. By far, the worst experience I have every had in my entire life. If you have the chance, PLEASE take your car elsewhere for service.

It all started when my husbands truck wouldn t start. We called GEICO (who was phenomenal) and towed out car to the nearest repair facility for a scheduled appointment at 4:30 pm on Thursday. Let me point out that is was a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. My husband and I didn t think that it would be finished Thursday but the shop is open late... I believe 9:00 pm. So, we thought there would be a pretty good chance we would at least know what was going on Friday morning. Nope. My husband rides by the shop after he leaves work (on his way to pick me up and take me to a doctors appointment from work because now we have only one car) and sees his truck still sitting in the same spot. A little frustrated, we give them the benefit of the doubt and waited until about 4:00 pm on Friday to call. My husband calls (the service advisor has not reached out to keep us updated) and the lady who answers has no idea what truck he was talking about because it hadn t yet been put into their system. A little more frustrated, we gave them the benefit of the doubt yet again and waited around until about 12:00 pm on a Saturday to find (after WE called) that the truck still had not been looked at. My husband goes up to the shop and asks what the hell is going on and we got the sorry excuse of sorry, we got backed up. Then, we ask for a loaner vehicle because my husband can t get to work on Monday and we were told that they didn t have any left but there s an enterprise up the street.

Furious, I finally called myself (4 times) until I got to speak with a manager and magically, they had a loaner car available for me at that point. We still had to speak with the same manager again because the vehicle wasn t looked at Monday either. Tuesday, we re out of $500 to find out that there was a bad wire.

The amount of hassle and poor customer service I had to go through just to pay them my money for something that could have been fixed in a few hours was simply not worth it. I never write reviews but I had to post this one in hopes that no one ever has to expierence this.

Service department made me change the brand new air suspension compressor twice, I had to pay $700 dollars but compressor was working perfectly fine. This people don t know what they are doing. Please try chesapeake jeep deeler, they are very honest and professional and you are not going to believe but a lot cheaper.
Virgina beach jeep dealer will charge you $293 to tell you what s the problem with your car.
Chesapeake jeep dealer will charge you $119 to tell you what s wrong. Plus they get it right at first.
Please think twice before you take your car there.

I just had my car checked by Kevin and Ron. They fixed my loose vent and confirmed that nothing else is wrong and no further damage from the snow. They did not charge me anything to for tightening the vent tube. This was really nice and helpful ! Thank you very much! I believe they will be my mechanic form now on!

Desiree Decker and Benjamin Stewart were both fabulous to work with. The vehicles I was interested in were waiting and ready for test drive. Benjamin showed a ton of patience walking me through all the "bells and whistles" on this beautiful Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 with the altitude package. Love the Rhino color and the service was over the top. I'll be back...in 39 months. Thank you Benjamin and Desiree!

Jamal is hands down one of the best sales people I have every come in contact with. Usually the process of car shopping is not something we look forward to, but our experience with Hall made it pleasant and fun. Jamal listened to what I wanted in a vehicle and worked very hard to find something that fit my needs and stayed in line with my budget. Everyone in the show room and finance department were amazing, but Jamal by far made the car shopping experience truly enjoyable.

Went into Hall dealership while being in a pickle financially and just hoping to get something done with the current loan and truck I own. Had an appointment with Deek and he made sure I was taken care, after several attempts Deek never gave up and was able to get me a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 with a lower payment and really helped me financially. I really can't thank him enough for not giving up on my situation and making sure I left happy.

I drove 8 hours from South Carolina and bought my last vehicle from Hall just to work with Philip Hassler. I've always bought all my vehicles from him so making the trip was worth it. its always been the easiest, most educational, and most expedited purchase process. Last time I was in to purchase, Philip paired Chuck to work with me and he was awesome. I've recommended a bunch of friends over to Hall because of Philip, and I've heard wonderful things about a gentleman named Eric as well that a few of my friends got to work with. The whole sales staff was awesome and even though I was the guy who came in 10 minutes til close (sorry again), they were all still smiles and the energy was nothing but positive in that place. I wish I could relay the message to everyone that Philip Hassler and his staff have revolutionized the stigma of the car-buying process and made it what it should be. Easy, simple, hassle-free, quick, efficient, professional.

Previously gave 5 stars, but now 1 star. Went online to research truck and logged in to find internet price< which was same price advertised, and within a minute received a call, email, and texts. Told them was just researching and wasn't going to do anything until end of year. Still received calls, texts, and emails. Asked/told them to stop. Now still getting 2 calls a day! Lost my business. I will look at Greenbrier or Southern now. A simple request, but they have to continue to be overbearing. Lost my business also for servicing my truck.

So I purchased a 2016 hellcat charger from the used sales department back in October 2018. The SRT rep butch, who is stellar, led me to a great rep at that time who handled my sale wonderfully I had a overall pleasant experience. Thinking that this would transpire over to this week when I went in to willing to purchase the 2018 widebody hellcat they have on the showroom I assumed I that pleasant experience would carry over. I was wrong. Eric Osborne was who I dealt with initially and he came off as a solid salesmen. Little did I know he was as grimy as they come. He was already dealing with a customer but heard the words hellcat and ran to "assist me". I waited hours to get legit assistance from him due to him trying to juggle multiple customers. If he was busy he should have gave me to someone else but of course "hellcat" you would think I'd be priority. After coming back with a ridiculous price for a car that's going to be 2 years old I was insulted by his comments in regards to "my budget". He came off very condescending and arrogant as if I lacked intelligence. I'm not going to pay for a 2 year old car the price as if it was the year you ordered it brand spanking new. So after he was frustrated from me calling him out for disrespecting my and my wife he storms off leaving me with the manager Devin. Devin then proceeds to say he can't lower the price. So even after this I wanted the car so i left to go meet with banks in regards to financing. They told me if they dropped the car $5000 they would sign off due to the value of the car. It's priced at 78k the banks value it at $60k bc it's old. Even then I was willing to still commit with the sale. So I call again the next day and discuss with Devin how his salesman Eric was horrible and made me want to take my business elsewhere, Devin brushes over this and tries to focus on the car sale and wants me to come in still. I get there willing to talk and Eric is sent out to "assist" again. He never once apologized for his actions and tries to come up with panzy schemes to figure out a way for me to apply for financing instead of dropping the price of the vehicle to what it's actually worth or even to the number the banks would approve it at. Eric gets frustrated once again bc I am not falling for his tricks and storms off again! Devin comes out and shows me a final offer of almost $80k. I asked him to drop it another $1000 and I'll sign on the line. He refused and after all this I left. Overall a HORRIBLE experience for a car that's been sitting in front of Butch's office since he ordered it. A customer willing to buy it and I was treated terribly. Unfortunately this is one of the only dealers in the area that receive hellcats so I will probably have to travel now bc I have such a bad taste from this horrible experience with this dealership I wouldn't even give you my business again for a top of the line vehicle. If anyone goes here avoid Eric Osbourn at all costs he is the most manipulative salesman I have ever dealt with.

Update: the owner claims a sales manager tried to call me. Never occured. Also been attempting to call the number provided and never answers nor responds to voicemails I leave. I'm totally over this horrible dealership as a whole. I'll tell all my friends looking forward to buy the new 2020 widebody charger to take their money elsewhere. Totally ridiculous.

They are blessed to have Courtney Norsworthy as a sales person. She is organized and had everything ready to go with my sale! She is quick to followup with any questions or problems. My issues have all been with the service department. Left the Jeep there after purchase to have problem addressed/no response to multiple calls to check status. Had to show up, given Jeep only to find out problem never addressed. Had scheduled appt for another issue and was informed then they were scheduled to "take care" of issue @ this time. Greg was wonderful and was in contact with me via text. Unfortunately the second issue was not addressed. Took three service appts for what I believe should have been taken care of in one appt. (rim issue & charging port)

I have bought a Jeep wrangler and Jeep Gladiator from Eric osborn, the most recent being the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, due to the COVID 19 pandemic and just having a baby it was difficult for us to make it into the dealership, but thanks to the help from James Loeven and Abby Meeks the process went great. My family will continue to do all of our car buying from here due to the great people and service we receive time and time again.

They had the car I wanted and Ashley was great! But the dealership was more concerned about end of the month numbers than taking care of me. I had to make 4 return trips to complete the deal and I had to stay on top of everything. Once they made the sale, they didn t care about what was owed to me. I had to pester and call them. They said they would expedite my ceramic coat and have it done when I picked up my car. That did not happen. The service department however, was great! I m dealing with a manufacturing defect, but hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Will write my full review when I receive. Trayvon was very nice. He listened to what I needed in a vehicle. Part...1 After talking and then getting the wife all started to go good. Jeep seemed top be what we needed ; but no hitch. Add it HALL helped by cutting install price { fine} needed for handicap lift. RV hook up wouldn t match old jeeps. HALL cut price again. I am waiting now to get the back up camera repositioned due to the lift blocks camera. 3 1/2 STARS.

Took my car in for a regular servicing plus an engine flush, tire rotation, and rear differential servicing. Had previously been a patron out Southern, but their service department was truly awful so I made a switch. Glad I did because I had a great experience at Hall today; waited only an hour, and my cost was nearly one hundred dollars lower than what Southern had quoted me at for all this work.

On the drive home my car drove like it had when I left the showroom with it many years ago. My only regret was ever going to Southern in the first place. Thanks, Hall.

I honestly could not have had a better experience. I live over 800 miles away from the dealership. I called and was able to work out everything over the phone with Kimberly and Joe. They were both fantastic! Made the whole process super easy. They didn't add crazy fees to the price of the car either. I showed up two days later and was in and out in two hours! And now I have my dream car thanks to Kimberly at Hall Jeep! You rock!

From the moment I arrived I was treated with respect! It wasn t like the hounding you get when you show up to a dealership which was great! Kevin my salesman showed me what I wanted to see and treated me like a person not a sale. I ve bought vehicles from quite a few dealerships over the U.S. and I have to say by far they are the best, I was working with another dealership in Virginia and two in Ohio (where I live) and they worked to get me the best deal! Even the two finance men I dealt with weren t pushy and listened to what I wanted and needed as far the extra warranty goes. I had one issue with the woman that was retail or finance manager where she was less than friendly when it came to me finalizing everything because it was an out of state purchase. She came to me with an attitude and kind of combative but other than her everyone was phenomenal! I would definitely consider my next purchase from them!

From the first phone call Lindsey was very helpful and didn t sound like she was trying to reel someone in for a quick sale. She was very nice and actually got back with me as she said she would each time even though I was clear we were looking for information and not planning to buy for some time. James our salesman was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions completely and didn t seem like he was just trying to get a sale either, he was very friendly and talked with us as long as it took till we were sure about all of our concerns and questions. Not to mention the test drive was perfect, even being sure to mention all the features we didn t even realize were there. This place feels like a clean quiet place looking to make friends that ll will be back for life, not just customers. They have my wife and my business for sure.

I recently had a fantastic customer service experience at the Service Center. I went there to have a screw removed from a new tire that I had purchased 3.5 weeks ago. The Service Manager advised me that I needed a new tire due to where the screw punctured the tire wall. The gut punch was that it was going to cost $175 (est, includes tire + labor). Much to my annoyance, that was an unplanned cost since the tire was less than 1 month old. The Service Manager was AMAZING - he was willing to check and to see if a warranty was offered with the tires. He asked his boss, went to the Parts Manager, and low and behold, I was able to get a replacement tire for free due to an unknown warranty. Two takeaways - 1. It doesn't hurt to ask. 2. In 1999 my husband and I chose to purchase a jeep and they tried to go up on us over $125.00 on our monthly payment then what we wanted and the sales person told us well it's only $125.00 more then what it was supposed to be...and I was like yeah that will pay a gas bill or something else. Anyway I had paid them $1500.00 for a deposit and they weren't supposed to cash the check till we were able to talk to finance. It went on for over a week and we told them not to cash the check till we got the financing worked out. Well needless to say they didn't do that.

Then comes 2000 my husband walk in there and decided to give them one more time and he told them at the beginning that he was not comfortable to be there after what they did to him the first time. He explained to the sales manager what had happened he rest assured that this would not happen again. We got a good deal and were very happy.

Now present time. I would like to purchase a jeep and went through the USAA to build my own jeep and found that the one that I wanted was in Va. Beach. So got with the internet sales people and Julia I will say was excellent but she had a difficult time for anyone to help her. She jumped through hoops to try and get me this jeep. Well on my USAA build my jeep the sticker price came out to be $28,000. with everything I wanted on it....exactly everything. Well it's been 2 weeks that we have been going back and forth, mostly us calling them cause they wouldn't call us back and tell us what is going on. I was trading in a Mustang GT premium package with a sun roof that I had put in and tinted windows. It was one step under a Shelby and with only 27,000 miles on it and in perfect condition. They only wanted to give me 21,000, for it. Then the price kept changing on my jeep and instead of getting their act together so that they could send the paper work to my husband's credit union so that we can get it financed and I can drive from Mississippi to pick it up they put it off and it doesn't get done. So now they won't be open again till Tuesday. I didn't receive a phone call till 4pm today to tell me that they couldn't get the financing there...but yet they want me to give them a $500 deposit to hold a vehicle that is non-refundable. I might live in Mississippi, but I wasn't born here. I have more buy time then they do sell time. All they had to do is come off of the price $1600.00 Which I know they will have no problem making it up in my car. Well hence management has changed again and they don't care about the customer it's the final line. They don't realize that when they give someone a good deal cause it happens all the time, that you are going to get more customers that are happy then they are frustrated. This customer is frustrated...and hence back on the wagon of never buying from Hall again!!! I've been buying cars long enough to know that words can make you or break you. It has taken me almost 2 weeks to get through all of this and received nothing but a big headache from it all and another bad taste in my mouth.

I will say though our sales person Julia tried very hard to make this work for us...it was the other's on her team that held her down. She was very professional and considerate of our feelings. Like i told them before I had a car...and it was in excellent condition. I just would have like to have had a jeep. They would have made a sale and an additional 7-8 thousand dollars on my car.

Thanks but no thanks!!!! Buyer beware...all kinds of digits end up on your invoice by the time you get ready to buy. If it seems to good...it usually is.

3 stars because this time I got Matt and he took good care of my truck.
Prior experience, I took the trick in to get the recall done in which they said "yes we got the part". When actually they didn't and only got the state insurrection done, and a TON of concerns with what I need done! When my husband had just did these things a few months prior! Next...
They said they would call me when the part comes in, never got a call so 6 months later I take in with valuation the part is in! To find out, there was another recall the part wasn't in yet... I'm OK with that but let's see if they call me this time?

Well, it's been a long and grueling month for all 3 of us. I hate to say it, but especially for me. So I took a little bit of time for myself to go look at something I've been wanting....and I left with it. I cant thank Frankie Lewis enough for making the process SO easy and painless. You are a great friend and a great salesperson!!!! The entire encounter was awesome and fast!! My head is still spinning lol!! Well, I guess car buying really isn't as hard as I have always thought! I purchased my Dodge Ram 1500 new in 2004. I has served me well and is my second Dodge Ram 1500. I put over 125k miles on that good ole truck.

I had to have a State Inspection Sticker...don't we all?
I went in for a State Inspection Sticker knowing I would need to have my headlights, that's plural, working. I figure that was going to cost, and it did...$800.00+. Are you with me so far? State Inspection Sticker $15.00 plus the $800.00 for the lights. As it turns out there were some other defective discoveries which needed to be corrected. The spark plug wires, spark plugs, and the upper and lower ball joints, and the rack& pinion steering. OK, so the truck is a little older, but drove into the service department just fine.

After getting my inspection sticker put on...$4000.00 later. I drove my good ole truck out and it just didn't drive the same. The steering was terrible and the ride loosened my fillings. Great, more dental work, not to mention my poor kidneys.

I intended to get the truck back in for a second look at the front end suspension work because the rider just kept getting worse. I procrastinated too long. about 60 days after the work was done I was driving home when the front end began to pull hard left, then right, then left again. I managed to limp it home and called Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Virginia Beach, VA. After trying to speak to a manager...good luck with that. I called and got the phone forward merry-go-round three times. My final effort ended in a conversation where I told the live person that if they put me back on the phone merry-go-round I would continue to call back. Eventually, someone asked if perhaps he could help. I explained the situation and they asked me to drive my truck down to their service department. I refuse to drive the truck in that condition. The sent a tow truck to tow my truck in.

They invited me down to look at the damage and asked if I had been out off-roading...I am 53 years old.

The shock on the front passenger side was completely bent and they said they had never seen anything like it. There was grease from where the CV boot split open and of course both those gears would now have to be fixed. I don't understand why the service mechanics did not detect these issues which would present me with such an exciting ride home only 60 days earlier.

They were not taking any credit for my misfortune nor could I relate any of the front end work to the mishap. So, in the end I need an additional $1,600.00 worth of work done to my front end 60 days after having them put a State Inspection Sticker on my truck. I will have spent more than $5,600.00 from January 16, 2015 to March 18, 2015 (which is when they said my truck would be ready...Perhaps tomorrow) I really should be grateful, because they did not charge me anything for the $15.00 State Inspection Sticker. What a good deal.

I highly recommend getting your vehicle service at Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Virginia Beach. They may give you a break and not even charge you for the Inspection Sticker! How cool is that?

My wife and I had an amazing experience working with Eric Osborne. He was able to be flexible enough to go from the possibility of me trading in my truck for a new truck that I really didn t need to us throwing him a curveball and deciding instead to get my wife out of her terrible car into a brand new 2019 Jeep Cherokee and despite the change that we threw his way he never got frustrated with us even though we made him stay late two nights in a row. Would definitely recommend anyone to buy from him and Hall Chrysler in general as everyone we worked with was amazing! Would definitely shop here again!
