This past weekend we bought a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and the experience was phenomenal! We went through many options of vehicles and payment options, and through the whole thing Ronald Sumption was just the best! He explained everything and made the whole process easy and very chill. Bought a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited a few weeks ago after being told to go there by a friend who has purchased vehicles from his client (she is the used car sales manager.) WHAT an experience. She turned me over to an old woman who had been with Hall Mitsibushi and knew NOTHING about jeeps. Having been a wrangler owner since 98 I knew exactly what I wanted. She, again, knew nothing. Five hours at the dealership and purchasing the car I went for (new not used) and being told I got all the discounts (sales person said we were Military when we were NOT) so they took the $500 away just like that. Then lied to by the slick Willy who said you can't get out of a deal once you sign papers in VA (um NO you have 72 hours if not in possession of the vehicle.) Had to leave vehicle so they could put on running boards. Finally called Monday to say NO running boards and would have to wait 5 weeks. Then called and made a fuss and was told YES they have them. Finally picked up the car on Weds after purchasing it on Sat. It wasn't ready. Trunk full of water as they left the back door open. Some other person NOT my sales person came to "show me how to use the car" - his major concern was setting up the phone which he could not do and taking off the doors. NO explanation about any of the computerized equipment. That I found out on my own by trial and error. Waited another 2 hours for them to get the car ready and then husband had to go find it, tell detail person to vacuum water out of it and husband brought me the car and we drove off without even a thank you or good bye. Wal-Mart of dealerships as far as I am concerned. Was told after complaining I would get extended warranty package and a form from Jeep to fill out (customary) and to date have received NEITHER. Stay away from the used car dealership here and Patti and Denise. Stay away from KJ the supposed New car sales manager. Maybe others have had a good experience but to date just lies, lies and more lies. Hey they got their 35K and I got my Jeep - now I guess I take it to Southern for Service. I should have paid a bit more but maybe I would have been treated as a customer. Still also waiting on Sweatshirts promised by dealership manager (that was along with that promise by Keith the supposed service manager for the extended warranty and form to fill out) Yeah, I will be sure to go back there and tell others to do the same - how about NO!

Stan Wilkins, also known as "Stan the Man," is the absolute best! He treated me like his own daughter throughout the entire process. He went as far as to wash my new car himself in order to make the process faster. He is an asset to any car dealership including Hall Nissan!

I have been using Hall Ram VaBeach service center since2014 and have been beyond satisfied with their customer service there as well as the work they had done to take car of my Durango, so much that I went back just this past weekend and bought a brand new 2018 Ram 1500. If you are looking for an outstanding, non pushy, friendly and goes out of his way to get what you want please ask for Charles C. I can honestly say this is one of the best experiences I have had buying a vehicle. Thanks again to Charles, Mark, Desiree and Julie for an outstanding job.

Took them all of maybe 15 minutes to set the change oil light. Most of the time we were waiting for the people in front of us. No complaints.

I had the best car buying experience at Hall just yesterday. I currently live on the Outer Banks and went to our local dealership only to be disappointed. Long story short, the dealer there tried to talk me out of the car I wanted so I would buy his much more expensive car. I ended up at Hall after searching and finding a great internet price on their site for a 2016 Jeep Renegade with all the features I needed/wanted. After calling and setting up an appointment we drove two hours to the dealer where we were immediately offered water or coffee. I was introduced to Martin who is BEYOND fantastic. He showed me every detail of the car I could think of without sounding like a pushy salesmen. After test driving the car and deciding it was what I wanted we began paperwork. Unfortunately since I was a new car buyer it was a long process but the team at Hall made it much easier! We were offered refreshments a few times, while we waited for the paperwork to go through Martin sat and talked to us about the car further, and there was no attempt to change the price we were quoted! I was offered many upgraded packages, but again, I did not feel like I was being pushed into buying one.

I had such a fantastic experience at Hall and I definitely recommend Martin because he was just awesome. Should I need another Jeep in the future I will definitely return :)

They had a nice selection of cars, however I had to speak to the general manager concerning my credit issues. I met with a woman named Abby Meeks. She was very rude and offstandish, and it felt liked she didn't want to help me at all, and told me that. I was a loyal customer, and I had bought 2 cars from them in the past. Her tone was belittling and I will never go to them again.

Update: I probably won t go back because it takes way too long to purchase a car at Hall.

I bought a Jeep Wrangler 1 year ago and the experience was great. I called today to ask a few questions about my service plan. Peter and Devin were awesome. I expected poor service when I called because I wasn't buying anything, but they exceeding my expectations and then some! I like doing business with companies who provide great service when you are buying something from them AND when you need help and support. I will definitely return to Hall to purchase a vehicle.

Traded in my 2014 Cherokee for a 2018 Wrangler. Courtney Norsworthy was very helpful salesperson in getting me what i was looking for and answered all my questions. Scott Hintz also helped out with the finances even when i was at my bank getting the loan.

I have to say I always dread going into major dealerships.
That all changed with this trip to Hall Chrysler. My sales rep Pati was not the typical high pressure sales professional,and the atmosphere was also very relaxed. I can't say enough good things about how I was treated from start to finish and how my needs and interests were addressed. The deal I got was the reason I drove from out of state and avoided shopping locally. I am sure I would never have found such an enjoyable shopping experience anywhere else. I know that I will be a returning customer for sure!

Ben Stewert was my sales guy and was super nice. I had some issues with a car i leased. I had it for a few days and had to take it in to get serviced, which ended up being there for close to 2 weeks. Got it back and the issue still wasn t fixed. I came in wanting to replace it with another car. He made the transition very smooth and as fast as he could. I m really happy and loving my new Jeep! very very unsatisfied with this dealership! customer service is non existent in the service department. driving up to the express lane is my worst nightmare. there are no greetings, no direction and no organization. i've only ever gone by appointment which seems to be completely unacknowledged and useless when you're there. anytime i've been there i was treated more like a burden than a customer. i would NOT suggest this place to anyone!

**after posting my original review i recieved a call asking if i would like to bring my car back in to make things right. when i went back i felt much less like a burden and felt i was treated with better customer service. they worked with me on my situation and fixed the issues with my jeep. i appreciate them reaching out to me and have an overall better liking for this dealership. in this situation i noticed that saturday morning seemed like a better time to come in than a wednesday evening.

**Update, May 28, 2019** Mark Eckert fully accomplished what I originally submitted the 1 star review about. This was completed and checks received well before the projected timetable to receive the checks. Thanks for the prompt response and fast turn around.

**Update, May 15, 2019** On a positive note: Mark contacted me yesterday and was able to complete everything I have called numerous times before to accomplish. It took him no time at all to get me the paperwork and make it easy for me to complete.
I just find it a shame that when I called the first few times that I was put to a voicemail with no response, and the one time that I demanded to speak to a manager or anyone at the time of my call that could help me, that person said they would do research into my request and call me back and did not. A Negative review in the Customer Service field should not prompt an attempt to satisfy a customer. This should have happened from the start. I am happy with the help Mark has provided me and feel that maybe others should know how to deal with the same issues. Thank you, Mark.

**Update, May 14,2019** I was contacted by Mark Eckert (Finance Director) from Hall Dodge.

I want everyone to know that Hall will take care of you up to a sell then let you hanging after. I have tried numerous time to get answers in getting a return on gap/maintenance plan that I purchase 2 years ago on a vehicle I just traded in. The dodge dealership I purchase my new car from told me to contact Hall for a partial return I should receive. I called numerous time with no return call. Demanded to talk to someone that could help me without leaving a message. The person I spoke to that said the could help said they would call me back because they needed to find the corporate policy. That was a week ago and no reply.

No communication with me. I called several times with no call back.

I purchased a new Dodge Ram and my sale rep. Shane was the best! This guy is the guy you want to buy and car or truck from. I think he was more excited about my purchase then me haha! He is so into the Ram s and we spent a good half hour just sitting in the truck and going over everything that the truck offers. He is zero pressure and just passionate about what he does! Hall should have 100 of Shane s working there!! He cares about you first, then he helps you make the right purchase. In my experience car sales is always about selling the product but when dealing with Shane, he had my back and helped me pick the perfect car at the perfect price! On the lot, I saw a familiar face. A year ago I ran into Courtney. She was going door to door in the snow and sold my wife and I Verizon Fios. She and my wife had a great rapport and got my wife to invite her into our home. Couldn t place her face at first, but she remembered my Star Wars lightsaber collection.

She picked out the perfect van. A Chrysler Pacifica. Nice gas mileage, great safety features, and stylish (for a van). Courtney also mentioned some gadgets that my wife would love (technology goes over my head.) I m sold. My wife is going to be so excited to see Courtney again. Will make the birthday present all the better. Funny how the world works. First she sold us Fios now she s going to be our car girl.

I showed up to look at a vehicle I saw online and it had been transferred that morning for another potential sale. I knew that was my fault for not calling and confirming, but Chuck offered to follow up with the other lot to see if the sale went through. He called later to let me know it didn t sell and he was kind enough to request and hold the vehicle for me. I showed up the next day, test drive it, loved it, and bought it. I will agree that the customer service is dreadful. It's clear that Hall's concern is not to keep customers happy, but to make a sale and keep it moving. I ask to speak to a manager, an I get pushed to a voicemail with not even the courtesy of a heads up. Top it off no call back either. It's not like I called to complain, bought my car brand new not even two months ago and twice my check engine light has come on. Save yourself the headache and go to Checkered Flag or any where else!

Mr. Tharrington Battle was incredibly easy to work with. They were a little off on the price I wanted to purchase the vehicle for, but in a very good way as their price was even lower. Very easy to deal with.

We had a good experience until it came down to getting treated like crap with the money part. Being told we didn't make enough even though we made well more than enough. Not getting phone calls returned. Oh and to top it off thought and I say THOUGHT we bought a vehicle A MONTH AGO. HAD THE VEHICLE IN HAND AND TRADED IN OUR OTHER VEHICLE TO BE TOLD NEARLY A MONTH LATER THAT OUR STUFF STILL HAS YET TO GO THROUGH. DON'T DO IT DO NOT GO HERE. Tharrington Battle is amazing. He sold me a 2019 Jeep renegade. He was very patient and knowledgeable.

Horrible service. Made an appointment for a oil change and 3 hours later my vehicle still was not ready. Supervisor made excuses...I told them to just give me vehicle back and I left the lot.

I lovey Jeeps. But never ever have I ever been sent away as many times after a complaint. Fast forward almost a year and now I escalated my continuous problem to Chrysler... Now my Jeep is getting worked on. Just in time for our military family needs to drive it from Virginia to California. If I run into a problem that is related with issue......I will become the hulk.

I got a recall on my 2010 seabring, made a appointment for 7:15 am on the 31st of August, went to my appointment,left the car went down the street for breakfast part wasn't released from Chrysler until the 11th of September, nobody bothered to call me before my appointment. Not going back to that readership again.

I purchased a new Chrysler 300S on April 21st, 2107. I had an amazing experience with this dealership. Benjamin Stewart was an awesome salesman who was was very informative, patient, and did not possess any aggressive tactics or schemes you expect at many dealers. The financing staff was very courteous, forthcoming, and did not hide anything throughout the entire process. A wonderful place with a great staff. Why can't most car dealerships be customer oriented instead of being aggressive and greedy.

Update - The car I purchased was totaled in a no fault accident on August 8th, 2017. I went back into the dealership on August 8th hoping to be a repeat customer with Benjamin Stewart who did an awesome job during the first purchase. He was able to find another vehicle with the same specifications but a different color. However when it came to sending the buyers order to my credit union to start the financing process it never happened after several attempts. When I asked the finance guy who was working the numbers which wasn't Mr.Mark Eckert on the day I was there if we could wiggle a little on the price the response was " I can't do that because the higher ups would not allow that and that Chrysler is very strict about the pricing." I know that all dealer sets the final prices and even if the price is not ideal you will still make money on back end through extended warranties, gap coverage, protection packages, service visits, etc and the salesman will get his commission. So while I would have loved to have been a repeat customer and continue the business relationship I had to explore other options

I had a great car shopping experience here, I was looking for a Toyota and even though this dealership mainly sells Jeep, RAMs etc , my awesome salesman Derek Vonkuehlman was able to find a pre-owned one in their inventory. so he worked with me to get what I wanted!z The car is pretty much new is in great condition, he did his research on the car and the walk around and test drive went smoothly, I got a great deal on it and I m very happy with my purchase. I just had my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limitedx first service done. This was by far the easiest process I've ever experienced when coming to a dealership for a service.
