Very nice and historic hotel. Spacious room. Interesting art collection throughout the hotel. Great views. Wonderful bar with live music. Helpful concierge service. Would have liked for an iron to be provided for pressing clothes (they do not allow them).

Magnificent building, grandiose interior! At the bar the welcome is courteous.

Service conditioned by the head (and wallet) of the customer. You will only be treated like a king if you are deemed to be one. Which of course spoiled the experience. In addition, we had indicated to the room manager a serious allergy to nuts among the customers of the table, and I give it to you on the spot: a nut cake was served to us. And luckily, we narrowly avoided a disaster by tasting the dessert ....

An acquaintance advised me this hotel as I had to go to Nice I booked a suite. Honestly I think this acquaintance has never seen anything in her life or that she wanted to play an old joke on me! The sequel really not terrible, not to say catastrophic with big omissions. Big lack of maintenance. For more than 1500euros a night it is a good laugh a nice scam. Quite slow service on the whole big lack of responsiveness. By phone I am told that there is a private beach. Once there, I am told that there has never been that before there was a partnership but not anymore .. I do not even see the rest! Table reserved in the restaurant la rotonde more than mediocre quality, burnt in the dish I did not know. The plates are full yet I don't like waste. And the best for the end the catastrophic breakfast more than mediocre quality I do not even understand how it is possible in a 5 star. In the end a lot of manners and that's it! Surprised and behind nothing except mediocrity.

We had an unforgettable stay in this emblematic place. We thank the particularly dedicated receptionist. The Negresco and its 4000 works of art won us over. A cozy room, a hearty breakfast, statues, 17th and 18th century paintings, everything is done to make you feel good in this palace steeped in history.

Simply one of those "must do's" when in Nice! Their outside summer terrasse is an excellent place to relax after a long day of walking and/or swimming. Order yourself a whisky sour, breathe in and enjoy the Riviera

A completely racist hotel. Hotel staff kicked him out for saying he doesn't speak English. It's ridiculous that the hotel staff can't speak English. It seems to be obvious racism. Worst hotel in Nice.

Very disappointed with the Negresco, which previously left its doors open so that we can admire the works of art (will of Madame).

Establishment of great renown but which in our opinion does not deserve 5 stars. We pay for the history and the prestige, the view ... even if the service is of very high quality (valet parking, etc ...)
Surprising eg not to have a small coffee machine in the room or bath samples.
Soundproofing is limited ... (I'm not talking about the renovations, but footsteps and discussions in neighboring rooms). In short .... happy to have gone to this establishment but a little disappointed by the lack of those little extras that one would expect from a 5 stars

I 100% percent forgot my jacket inside of the room closet and the housekeeping department insist they didn t even see it, and didn t even reply my phone call. I mean is a five star hotel, they didn t prudent enough to take care their valuable client.

By far the most beautiful hotel in Nice. The entire building is pact with stunning contemporary and period art. The rooms are spacious, clean and have modern bathrooms. If you are not staying you can have a glass of champagne or a signature cocktail in the bar. The location is great and the staff speak english fluently. Great service and a historical venue.

I'm the room 412 there is only one key for two persons. The room is outdated. The reception wasn't helpful. I am deeply disappointed.

Amazing hotel on the water front. Each floor has a different theme in the communal areas. Rooms are spacious and v comfortable.

Our stay on the coast was perfect from start to finish

We have already stayed at the Negresco several times and always take a junior suite on the 5th floor with a magnificent view of the sea. Rooms and hotel are large and stylishly furnished with many works of art, even if they are getting on in years. The rotunda (breakfast etc.) is too small and too modern, doesn't fit here at all. The Chantecler evening restaurant is completely different, with lavish menus and wines. Service perfect. It is annoying to wait for your own vehicle, which is parked separately by the staff.

Luxury is: soft light, people who speak softly, a pleasant and comfortable environment, discreet but very responsive service, politeness and respect between all consumers, in short: it is pleasant to come and spend a moment there relaxation alone or with others. The decor seems appropriate to me although a little ... outdated but that's not a criticism. I mean it seemed to me to be in a cocoon. To discover .... absolutely!

The change of decoration has left the quality of the dishes that we liked before. The service is not up to the standard and the kitchen is little sought after. Very disappointing.

It is a mythical and legendary place in Nice .. a mixture of styles and eras (from Louis XIII to the modern art of St Phalle .. its "Belle Epoque" facade is superb and it overlooks the no less mythical Promenade des English.)

Elgent recommend valet parking. Drinks were ,$25 but worth it. Live music. Watching the people is worth it. The art in the lobby is worth it
