Hôtel Le Negresco Reviews

Accustomed to 5 stars to drink a cocktail, we wanted to try the Negresco. Everything went well except with a kind of security guard inside who wanted us to consume before visiting the premises. I found it very very average as a welcome for a 5 star. I explained to him how it was elsewhere, hoping he would take it into account. This will therefore be the first and last time for the Negresco. I also advise him to go to the Ritz to take a few hospitality lessons ... The cocktails were, however, very good

Very beautiful, but still expensive for what it is.

Meal OK! New decor of the Rotunda totally null. It used to be classy and colorful, now the gray ceiling looks more like a bunker.

Amazing history, interesting setting (I especially liked the works of art), but the building really needs major repairs

Room are old, renovated rooms a bit better. Service In the bar is very weak, staff not trained and has no any knowledge. Staff was not able to explain the difference between 2 items!!

I went to the Negresco to surprise for a birthday. A little dated hotel but decorated with superb works of art. Superb room with sea view but a bit dated and damaged in places, I was a little disappointed, the flush for example was not working too much. Restaurant le 37pop expensive for the quality of the food served, I ate a better socca in town and much cheaper. I would have liked a little gesture for the anniversary knowing that I mentioned it at the reception.

Staff not pleasant among themselves, who throws spikes in the sight of customers. I did not find it very classy.
The service was still slow even though there were not many people. (We arrived at 2:30 p.m., thank you for accepting us)
Foie gras as a bland starter, it lacked taste, My fish (sea bass) was good, my average friend's tartare not up to what we expected.
We did not have dessert.

Restaurant Rotunda at Negresco, very good, the setting, the excellent service, the refined and delicious food, the little attention for the birthday, cake and candle and digestive. Special mention for Steve. Only downside, we would expect to be better seated.

The hotel is historic and has so much potential but needs more work and attention. Their service is non existent and they charge you 10 Euro for empty plates... Also, there are a lot of art sculptures and paintings which if don properly could be nice but needs a lot of work. The hotel needs to work on the ambiance and vibe of the hotel.

Great even if there is a time difference between the aging bar and the rest of the more modern establishment, tasted in the afternoon at 39 opulent and gourmet

Five star hotel, full of history, beautiful. The staff assists on a different level, lugging luggage, car parking, concierge, room service, reception, cleanliness all with a smile and an amazing charm. Quiet, clean, very spacious. For those who want to be pampered with a lifetime experience this is the place.
The English promenade is opposite the hotel with bike lanes, beaches, restaurants and plenty of seating for the Blue Sea.
Lots of seafood and Italian restaurants in the area.

A magical moment, the cocktails are expensive but the setting is exceptional

The place has lost its soul both in terms of form (the rotating decorative elements have been removed) and content (good food but very poor value for money)

wonderful place a little museum a little outdated but that is its charm ..

We come here on my husband birthday, they prepare the champagne and chocolate for us. The view is perfect!! You can find a lot of famous artiest work, like Dali and Niki de Saint Phalle.

The catering is really refined and the service of the top level ... never been disappointed, whenever we have the opportunity, we never fail to stop by!

One of the most beautiful and impressive buildings in Nice!

Stunning! A dream location everything is superlative, it is the most famous Hotel in Nice, you can consider that you are accommodated in a Museum ... Each floor is different no room is the same, you steal the landscape anyway since accessing the hotel everything it is impeccable! At the accommodation the hotel charges a guarantee fee which is returned at the end of the stay (100 euros per day) I will let the pictures "speak" the conclusions you draw dear ...

Without a doubt the best hotel in Nice! Super friendly staff, impeccable service and great location. Its got everything!

Nice but not exhilarating. The loup de mer was very tasty ... the side dishes less, the service slept ...

This is the place to be in Nice . One day we'll stop over here for more than just a water :).

Comfortable bar, and relatively consistent with what I expected. Still seems to play a little on its notoriety in terms of price. One of us had hot chocolate, admittedly relatively inexpensive but not exceptional. My Aperol spritz was very good but not exceptional either. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff.

I did not stay at this hotel but got a chilling welcome just looking to visit the lobby and ask for room rates

The hotel bar is an outstanding place to go for a cocktail. Excellent relaxed vibe with live band performing mostly covers. Good service and the free snacks are delicious. Quite pricey but worth it - we were only going to drop by for 1 drink but loved it so much we stayed for another!

Beautiful classic hotel where you absolutely must go in to have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere and architecture. Shame about the extension that is not in style.

Beautiful hotel! It's a very old hotel. 1 star of because it seems they don't have shower. You have an old fashioned tub and curtains with a hose.
