Undescribable beautiful historical and most popular hotel in downtown Nice. Every floor has own thema with pictures, statues, artifacts and other expensive elements, like Chinese pitcher. Everyone has to visit the hotel just look around if you don't have much money.

No matter what you do in Nice, spend an evening in the wonderful bar at the Negresco hotel. Just relax, have some conversation, put your phone away. The live music is great and the drinks are great. The bar is a slice of life from another time. I really can't recommend it highly enough.

A lot of fuss, but unable to make the right order. And then for that money ... ambiance is of course great !!!

Dive into the 1900s in the hotel bar adorned with beautiful tapestries and period woodwork. you can take the opportunity to walk around the Great Hall and admire the modern sculptures mixed with the old.

Well preserved and pretty paintings. Hotel full of charm and character

Right on promenade des Anglais, easy to access and really beautiful. You won't miss the doorman and attendant at the lobby who are dressed like the royal guards. To the left is a a room that mirrors The Palace of Versailles, you'd wonder if Marie Antoinette would pop out suddenly. I visited the bar, and enjoyed the calming live music, this is a plus. The waiter was also very kind to offer directions to other places for a fun evening even w/o asking.

Real museum. Atypical place. A bit dated but comfortable rooms

Beautiful place! The deco is absolutely amazing. Very colourful with cheecky cute amd bright colours. The food there is exquisite and everything is immaculate.

Some restaurants should take example, it was a treat and a real moment of relaxation

Luxury hotel located on a hot-spot of Nice! With its strategic position on Avenue Des Anglais, it is just a street away from the sea and some 10 minutes walking distance from the old city. It is a 5 stars hotel, with a 5 stars service! You can have a lunch/dinner at the hotel's balcony or enjoy your wine sitting in a first row of Avenue! Unique experience!

Very beautiful hotel, just went in to see, walked like a museum

Unhappy due to the following reasons:

1.We came in early at 1200 and the consieage told us to come back around 1500. When we arriaved at 1530 ish, they told us to wait and we only checked in until 1600 in a room located on 1st floor.
2.It was supposed to be an anneversary trip with my gf, so they prepared a card for us, on which they indicated that we should have been stayed in a room based on 3rd floor.

4. gf got bitten by bed bugs.

To conclude, I would rather pick another 5-star chain hotel even in Monaco as they will at least treat all their customers the same if not better.

Enchanting place, a real museum. A super efficient staff, smiling a must

If you want to spend the night at the museum, then you are here! Quite nice hotel, but no place to charge phone, doors are broken! Breakfast is quite tasty, but again the dishes are battered! I rate the hotel at a solid 3, I can't give more!

This is a landmark hotel in Nice. Lots of art. Please take a look at the toilet. The lounge has a calm structure and you can have a cup of tea and rest.

A superb setting, the rotunda, quality products, but overwhelming service ...

Poor service and drinks, but great location next to the beach.

Old but still conserves its charm. Rooms are ok, on the larger side. Their lobby is a work of art.

Beautiful building had to get tea to see the famous pieces but I believe they have a guided tour too. Do go see their tea room. It is designed like a caresole !!!

Bad reception service and very impractical bathrooms

Not a bad hotel, but did not give 5 stars, the renovation is very old, especially in the rooms, very dirty furniture in the restaurant where breakfast is, and the breakfasts are scarce.

The meal is excellent. The starter and the perfect dish, the dessert a little too simple.

A stylish hotel with a lovely and classic decorated bar. We had some cocktails and they were perfect but a bit pricey.

Review is for the delightful bar. The prices are over the top, but that s part of the fun. Incredible service and historic ambiance ensure you will enjoy yourself. I consider having a drink here a must during your visit to Nice.

We went there for dinner, my son and wife ran into indoor playground which provided by Hotel Negresco, I was smiling at security guard at front door and stop me there, he ask if I am a guest with a room number, I said we are here for a meal, he seems don't understand what I am talking about and immediately telling me that place is private until my wife come and speak to him using French, finally we got release; It could be language miscommunication issue, I could understand after the attack security level need to be increase, but I wasn't expect this at all.

Very nice place. I have lived in Nice for 20 years ... And I started working at the rotunda especially since 1976 ... super pleasant and very good staff, they are good ones .. I worked 30 years in the nice hotel. Have a good day to you all ... jeanlouis .....

Loved our stay, although the room we were in was in need of updating, but was a very positive and memorable experience, the staff were great, and we will go there again.

It s the first time to have a meal here, everything is not familiar yet, so I can only provide a basic introduction

3rd visit, with 2 nice experiences; I went there today but it was very disappointing. The menu changed suddenly there are no more lobster or lamb shank tagliatelle so I took rack of lamb with ratatouille, which was not enough at all. I was still hungry even after dessert. If we talk about the quality, it's good but we must not be too hungry. On the other hand, the veal time was good. I waited about 40min and the waiters only spoke to one person at our table. We had the feeling of being well ignored. I had high expectations but was disappointed.

Listed as one of the best hotels in the world, the hotel was founded by the Romanian Henri Negresco, former director of the Nice Casino. It looks great on the outside, and the interior is a work of art!

Great conference hotel, located directly on the beach promenade. Sea view rooms have a fantastic view!

great hotels in NICE, high class I love, magnificent little breakfast in front of the QUIET SEA, to be redone but good rates not attractive

I was very disappointed with the Negresco we stayed in for 1 week! For a 5 star hotel it left a lot to be desired! The room is shabby and very loud! For 2 people in the bathroom, despite several interventions, there was no towel for the bidet, apart from 2 bath towels only one normal towel. The hair dryer was unwieldy, no cosmetic mirror available; the TV much too small and poor reception. The breakfast was only mediocre, which was more than confirmed over the course of the week! I also think that dogs have no place in the breakfast room and certainly nothing on the seats !! Since usually Most visitors only spent a night or two there was heavy through traffic at the hotel. The only positive thing is the great art collection that is second to none! However, if I want art and culture, I go to the gallery or the museum!

Such a beautiful place, the interior is spectacular and interesting, the bar is lovely and historical.

The hotel is very cool and corresponds to the declared class by 5 stars

A historic institution in the literal sense - the service and environment reminded me of France under German occupation

Nice place for an intimate cocktail. An attractive room with comfortable furnishings. When we were there - a jazz duet to set the mood but not so loud we couldn t talk comfortably.

It is truly a construction that deserves the nickname of "mythical"
