Didn't stay, we just toured the hotel. It's a great building.

My stay at this hotel was perfect, the hotel is sublime, luxurious and the service is truly 5 star. The staff are attentive, the hotel bar is perfect whether it's for a snack at 4 p.m. arriving from the airport, or for a cocktail at 10 p.m. with friends. Certainly, some rooms are in need of renovation, but we forgive that. Room service is taken care of for you. To do at least once in your life when you go to Nice.

The Negresco Hotel is amazing, but pricey of course because this hotel is in front of the beach and the "Promenade Des Anglais".

Big disappointment since the change of owner.
Very poor reception, poor organization in the course of the meal. Example all the hot dishes were served first and the tartare was then prepared, so we all ate cold. The tartare fries arrived at the end, the glasses of wine also staggered. What a waste for a really poor birthday meal, we expected a much better quality of service.

Living in the area I have no interest in the hotel but in the bar they make Pina Colada from another world (I would keep their secret for what is so good); o). I have tested in many places but for the moment that the Negresco remains for me the reference. All accompanied by some delicacies to nibble, in the menu of dishes to order everything is excellent, staff to care. A place to spend a good evening without being disturbed

Hotel which has a charm by its age, but you should not look for a swimming pool or jacuzzi. Part of the hotel has been redone and it could have been the opportunity to put a more modern center, swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas dry and wet, place of massages and well-being. A gym exists now, but it is a bit deserted. The nice points are having employees who recognize you from a second stay, and enhanced security (more tourists visiting at the foot of the rooms)

Most disappointing Easter brunch. The kitchen team very friendly ... but none of the buffet dishes were kept cool. Placed at room temperature ... (mayonnaise, foie gras ...). The team in the room is not very professional.

The best bar in Nice. Amazing how the classics do. The Aviation highly recommended. They have an extensive menu of very good Martinis and Old Fashioneds. In addition, the living room is decorated with wood from 1900, with original paintings from 1600, it is a marvel. Safety pin. Amazing hotel, the brunch was great and lovely staff.

Good welcome. The menu is quite varied for starters but limited in main course and desserts. The dishes we took were good on the other hand disappointed with the accompaniment (seasonal vegetables). The dessert was wrong so I had to wait longer to be served. Overall it's okay to do it once but I don't think about going back.

Nice place. This is a one of a kind hotel. In addition there is only one Negresco in the world and it is in Nice.

Superb place, nice for a drink in love, to share the heartbreaks of a girlfriend, or for a night out with friends. Beautiful setting nice service and drinks are served with moultes "good little things" to nibble.

Iconic Nice experience! Is it an art museum or hotel? Needs to be experienced on both counts

Stayed 2 nights in Nice's iconic hotel, sea view. The room condition was really good without saying anything, and it is in a fantastic location to enter the beach while enjoying the beach in front of the hotel. Inside the hotel, I used to feel like a small museum with a pretty antique look. If the price is low and I go to Nice again next time, I will worry, but if I have a chance to stay again, I want to stay again. The lack of a swimming pool is one of the very small drawbacks. From the airport to this hotel, you can take a city bus at a time and it only took about 15 minutes. At night, riding a bike and strolling the beaches of Nice will be a good memory. If you have more than 3 nights, you may want to visit Eze, Saint-Paul, and Monaco together for a day.

Hotel Negresco is a luxury hotel located on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. He received his fifth star in August 2009.

It is one of the few survivors of the hotel industry from the beginning of the 20th century and one of the last independent establishments of this class. Its facades are based on a neoclassical frame, with an opulent, quasi-baroque ornamentation. It appears like the Sacher hotel in Vienne, the Ritz in Paris or the Astoria hotel in Brussels, among the legendary places of luxury hotels.

The bar should choose between lounge (its general appearance) or after (the live band that plays pop / rock at high volume), on the other hand the Chanteclerc restaurant is a marvel!

Cold welcome by an unfriendly lady who speaks to us in English while we are in France and French. She gets offended and gives us a table, telling us that it is the only one left while the terrace will remain half empty throughout our meal.
Bland, dry, uninteresting aioli, sole served cold after a tedious slicing by the server with fries!
Expensive, tasteless, no interest. The atmosphere and the staff are period,
damage to the place.

Falsely Advertises As Non-Smoking Hotel - Poses Life Risk To Those Truly Allergic To Cigarettes

SUMMARY: If you would like a hotel that tolerates smoking that penetrates your room and makes you sick, the constant smell of mold, stained carpets, non-working air-conditioning, only one elevator that constantly breaks down, and a dismissive staff that will offer you a worse room than you paid for if you dare complain about your horrible experience then look no further than Le Negresco. For anyone who doesn t know true luxury and has seriously low standards, this is the place to stay.
