I was walking with a backpack, footmen stood at the entrance, their faces were unfriendly. Standing on the stairs, they rudely asked what was needed. I asked the price, they said 800 euros per single. I thought with this attitude and the euro would not have paid. I myself have a bachelor's degree in hotel management, such administrators I would have kicked out right away.

A unique experience in the world. One of the most beautiful palaces on the French Riviera. Restaurant, ultra cozy bar open to the public. Proper dress required, and that's a good thing.
this old-fashioned place, with "lackeys" still in livery, this perfume from another era is very sympatric, like the setting. But in the rooms and the services, there is modernity and efficiency as long as you pay the price
This jewel of Nice is to be seen. Go for a cocktail in the evening to enjoy the pleasant music. Thank you for this beautiful moment and the impeccable service.
I stay here when I m in Nice , the service is amazing . Great food and drinks . Not too keen on the boardwalk . Construction and I felt like I was in Morocco:/(
Seen better times, no doubt. A tired decor, rude floor staff (chased me around atrium, until I gave a room number). At breakfast time, wheel chair exercises took place in the atrium. The large chunk of the building is now taken by apartments. There are far better and considerably cheaper hotels on the promenade. Still, the bar looks good and the Blue Mountain coffee is excellent.
This is the first time I go to Negresco, and the restaurant of the Rotunda is far from embellishing the image ... we do not expect it to return to this beautiful monument. We have already ordered seabream ceviche, and we are brought back some bluefin tuna without telling us that there is no more stadium, the waiter almost spilled the glass of wine by 2 foid at table, we had to ask for a bread basket, plates (empty) were not removed by bringing back the coffees and in the mint tea order we were brought back a bag of green tea ... for a hotel tem the Negresco is a fairly average returned image. I speak only of the service, because the dishes were very good.
The staff were very rude and showed no interest. There were complications at check-in and we were also given the wrong room. In addition, they did not take our car from the parking lot, we had to walk around the hotel to the car. There were three employees standing in front of the Ferraris and nobody wanted to park our car, probably because it wasn't a Lamborghini. An absolute cheek. For this price, it's not worth it at all.
Wonderful evening! Magical setting! Bravo to the CSE for choosing the Negresco. This majestic architecture in a setting that is renewed with each visit is the guarantee of a successful evening.
Security guard who literally blocks you at the entrance in a rather indelicate way! Waiting too long for a tarte tatin ... French hotel with a lot of foreign staff ... imagine an establishment of this kind must be up to the services provided!
It is undeniable the hotel is beautiful, the service is excellent, the breakfast is top notch but the room was average so a value for money quite inconclusive in view of the price charged!
Just amazing! My 2yo toddler and I had a lovely and relaxed stay here, for 4 days. The room was bigger than I had expected, with a very big bathroom, living room area, and dressing space. The bedding was so comfortable I had to struggle every morning to get up :) On top of this, the staff is extremely kind and pays attention to every little details to make adults and children feel welcome (restaurant service, bar service, room service, reception, doormen, concierges). The hotel is very central, in front of the beach and 10mn walk from the center of the city of you'd like to shop. Last but not least: the hotel is a living museum! Art pieces are everywhere... Wandering in the corridors is a delight. I strongly recommend this hotel for families, couples, or just single travellers who are looking for some relaxing time.
Beautiful property. The bar has a great drink selection and friendly staff, but be ready to pay. It s very expensive. They had a band on Friday night. Dogs seemed to be welcome there.
It is like being in a museum. Beautiful. But any guest you ask will tell you that the breakfast is very disappointing from the food to the service. I've heard this over and over. When you have to ask three times for a cup of coffee, something is wrong. I've been in Nice working for two weeks and staying at various hotels. The Aston La Scala, Novetel and especially the NH Hotel all had much better breakfasts than this place. The scrambled eggs looked like soup. Potatoes and pork share the same serving utensils. The manager walks around with a suit on and is the least helpful person of all. Think about it.... From the beginning of each day, you are making people wished they had booked elsewhere. It is no excuse that your regular restaurant is undergoing renovations. The location is not the concern. A little care to label and present a better breakfast has nothing to do with location.
A chic hotel with a great history !! The famous Negresco luxury neoclassical hotel on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, the symbol of the French Riviera. The hotel, which opened on January 4, 1913, was named after the Romanian surname of its owner, Henri Negresco. Among the famous guests of "Negresco" are Coco Chanel, Ernest Hemingway, Marlene Dietrich. Under the dome is a four-meter chandelier made at the French glass factory Baccarat (two chandeliers were made - one for Emperor Nicholas II, who placed it in the Grand Kremlin Palace, and the second for A. Negresco). The hotel has 121 rooms and 24 apartments, the style of which is not repeated. Camus, Cocteau and Sagan stayed in the "Hollywood chambers" "Negresco". Since 1957, the hotel has been owned by members of the Ogier family, who have managed to restore the hotel to its former glory.
The building and room really nice. But i had a problem on my staying. I have the beach package all included. In spite of checking my room number that proves i have that service paid, they said i have to pay again. Anyway, they told me they will be giving me the money for one day of beach. The wifi is not so good, connect and disconnect all the time and the signal is quite poor. The other things are good
Very nice building and rooms. But I had a little mishap, I had beach service. They fixed my room number and also told me that I had to pay for something that I already had included and paid for. They also told me that they were going to refund my payment for a day at the beach. WiFi is not very good. It connects and disconnects all the time. The signal is somewhat poor. Other things are fine
The best in Nice, the best in the Riviera, one of the top hotels in Paris. Lives up to its name totally. Absolutely superb service, starting from Housekeeping to the incredible Concierge. Houses a brilliant two Michelin starred restaurant Le Chantecler, and another newer restaurant La Rotonde which we tried, which we think might well be on its way to earning its own Michelin star soon, under the expert guidance of Virginie Basselot.
The building is a palace, and also a museum in itself. This is an experience that we miss already now that we are back, and plan to revisit again when we are back in the Riviera.
Highly personal, extremely eclectic decoration. Very professional staff who worked to give us complete satisfaction throughout the stay! Rarely have we been so enthusiastic about hotel amenities!
I used it on my honeymoon in 1996. I will never forget one merry-go-round style restaurant. It is a good old memory to have brandy and cigars after a meal.
