Great great staff thanks for a great few days the hotel it's self such great history wonderful paintings pay the extra few bucks get the sea view it's amazing. Food was just ok we ate all over the town. Rooms are grand Hotel Negresco has to be one of the best in france and we just traveled all of the southern parts.

A hotel with over a century of history. Excellent external and internal appearance. The hotel has a hall with a dome designed by Efel. Centrally located in Nice overlooking the Cote d'Azur.

This majestic white building with its pink roof is unavoidable. Hotel Negresco is the most famous and exclusive hotel in all of Nice. The hotel was built in 1912 by the Romanian Henri Negresco right on the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels).

Two-part notice (part 1)

For art lovers (among others) you will not find better.

There is no longer any need to mention the Negresco, this place is so full of history and magic.

For our part, the most beautiful hotel establishment in Nice located on the famous Promenade des Anglais and the Baie des Anges.

Upon arrival we are impressed by the quality of service emanating from this establishment. We feel expected and privileged.

What splendor, what luxury, what elegance and know-how in the spirit of a palace.

As soon as we get out of the taxi our luggage is immediately taken care of and we are accompanied to the hotel reception for check in. One of the staff of the establishment introduces himself to us to share the history of this fabulously romantic place for a few moments. And then accompany us to our suite (512) located on the 5th floor of the establishment.

The suite is beautiful and incredibly spacious.
Upon entering the room, we once again have this impression of being more than privileged customers.
So in the bedroom a beautiful reception room, giving on the left an access to the superb bathroom and to the separate latrines (with bidet please).

In the main room proudly sits an extra king size bed and a desk with armchairs and period furniture.
At the bottom a dressing room in which is also arranged a dressing table with a huge mirror for Madame, lots of storage, a coffee machine and an extremely well supplied mini bar.

In the suite there are also 2 balconies overlooking the city as well as the promenade and the bay. View overlooking the West and thus allowing to watch the sunset.

Delicate sweets were offered by the establishment to welcome us (macaroons, quality dried fruits, a bottle of mineral water (produced within the establishment), and chocolates.

Delicate attention that we greatly appreciate.

Now here are the few points to improve (in our opinion) in room 512.

- the shower hose a little short
- the lack of amenities in the bathroom
- the shower screen a little short and which could prevent water splashes in the bathroom

- certain period furniture requiring in-depth control and which may give rise to snags on the clothes or even small (superficial) injuries.
- the adjustment of lighting is not always easy
- the inability to regulate the air conditioning yourself from a certain temperature. You have to call the reception which manages it remotely.

The positive points
- exceptional view
- impeccable cleanliness
- quality of room service beyond all expectations
- the incredible kindness of the room staff
- ultra-comfortable bedding and pillows
- the area of the suite (56m2 if I am not mistaken)

Each floor is dedicated to specific subjects or artists. The art being very wide, you will find throughout your peregrinations in the establishment many works emanating from very many recognized artists (the works are of origin and there are more or less 4000 distributed in the whole of the hotel)

2 lifts are at your disposal and from the room the second lift gives you access to the hotel bar. A timeless warm and welcoming place. Once again it is worth highlighting the very high quality of service from the staff in this other part of the hotel. Musical entertainment there all week with from the beginning of the week until Thursday, a dj who officiates at the decks and the weekends of live music.
The cocktail preparations in this place are fabulous. The sound quality incredibly clear without being aggressive.
One cocktail particularly delighted our taste buds, it is a cocktail rightly named "la vie en rose" that I strongly suggest you discover.

Never been in so nice and interesting hotel! In fact it is more gallery/museum then hotel - must be seen!

Mythical place! So many masterpieces! You have to have a cocktail there if only for this fabulous setting.

Quality establishment but frankly limited commercial service, given the pretensions of this hotel. Breakfast paid when booking but billed as a supplement when our card is debited at the time of our departure. After making a request, the establishment refused any refund but "offered" a voucher to be used for the day and only on catering excluding drinks, unusable given our return constraints.

Interesting and light menu with a fruity note .. the carpaccio of Saint Jacques is a delight. The service and the setting are satisfactory.

This hotel is like the little Palace of Versailles. Each room is different from the others. You don't have to know how your room is decorated, it will be very interesting hope!
The hotel is in a great location, very beautiful.
You can enjoy the scenery from your windows.
The service was also excellent.
The restaurants were as welcoming as they were gourmet.

It is already looking at it externally, the only way I could afford

Old ones do not have enough plugs in the rooms and even in the bathroom they lack them. Friendly and diligent staff. Good situation, needs a renovation.

I came to the Negresco bar, 37 Prom in July .... courteous welcome I must say, on the other hand we order 2 cocktails with Champagne, the Rossini. Complete disappointment for a cocktail whose price is still 25 eur ... I have no problem with that, it's a 5 star so that's normal, but I expect at least a quality cocktail which is very far from being the case. A real disappointment. I also order fingers croque truffe, always a disappointment. No taste, nothing fancy, not even towels to clean your fingers. I never post such negative comments but this is too much. I will never come back.

Love the hotel. Worth it to see the artwork and the decor. The dining and bar unfortunately lets it down.

A very beautiful hotel with a rich history. Very colorful. Notice the chandelier in the lobby, the sculpture next to the entrance, the famous painting and the concierge's uniform.
And if you live in this hotel, you can visit the cafe, which is decorated in the form of an old carousel (I myself did not visit this cafe because I lived in another place).

Every corner of this hotel interior is very artistic.

A dream location where you are always drawn to this beautiful hotel.
The only regret is not being able to take advantage of the lobby of this hotel to admire the richness of this place.

Old and dated. Overpriced and a lunch bag letdown. 22 EURO and up for a drink. Do yourself a favor and walk down street to Meridian and hit cool rooftop bar. Pass on The NEG. Big no.

Spectacular is certainly worth staying at least for one night

a piece of history almost unchanged over time. it would be worth visiting almost like a museum ..... if it were possible. You can stay overnight without "ruining" at certain times of the year. Look at the offers and treat yourself to a nice stay. Or go for an aperitif ....

The strange attitude of the hotel staff.

We did not stay at the hotel for a stay. But in all the books they write, this is a wonderful historic hotel on the Promenade des Anglais. 4 years ago we were in this hotel and we went to photograph the interior, because it is really beautiful. This year the staff blocked the way to the beauties. It was announced to us that he was allowed to view and photograph only and exclusively to hotel guests. When asked why we could do this 4 years ago, but not now, a polite girl from the staff responded, explaining that it was due to the terrorist attack that took place in Nice on the Promenade des Anglais . At the same time, we were immediately invited to buy something to eat or drink in the hotel bar, and then the hotel doors would magically open for us. Of course, I understand that the hotel needs to earn money, but look at the price of a hotel room! And the reference to the terrorist attack is very low for a hotel where a room costs 200 euros. Is there really not enough money for the hotel that you have to speculate on a terrorist attack? An incredible lack of respect for the memory of those who died at the hands of terrorists. Shame. I will never stay here again, because someone close to me died in the terrorist attack, and the hotel is taking advantage. Shame. If you respect the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack, do not stay at this money-making hotel in memory of your loved ones.

Walking through the corridors is
Like walking through a wonderland museum.

Comfortable beds. Room decor is sticking to old style, but clean and well kept.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much and will surely return if in town again

We wanted to have a drink and take a look at the hotel to decide whether we want to stay there or not. Although in the off-season, they were only rudely asked to leave the hotel.
Of course we didn't book then.
Appraising - in today's age is a big mistake!

But the location is great!

Very nice culinary experience. A cuisine that is both very fine and rich in flavor. The staff are welcoming and warm, chic without being stuffy. Mythical place at the height of its reputation.

We had our conference dinner here, and the setting was absolutely stunning. Chandeliers were beautiful. Food was one of the best I experienced in France. Desert made me feel I was in heaven.

Perfect Hotel and staff. But was overbookt and have to change room on 2. day .

I myself only went to eat at Negresco. But all the works of art alone are convincing here! The food is really good. But the interior of the brasserie leaves a lot to be desired :) like a children's carousel.

A very nice hotel, however, the restaurant kitchen is closed by 10pm and they will never get you any snack even in a bar at 10pm... strange

I was at many, many 5 stars hotels all over the world but this was the first time they literally threw me out of one . I was planning to have dinner at the chanteclerc a 2 star restaurant at this hotel. I went there to have a look at the ambiance and the menu but when I got in with my wife and daughter someone came to me and told me I had to leave because I wasn't a guest. When I told the guy I was there to have a look at the restaurant another guy came and pushed us out (they didn't touch us but they pushed us). According to them they don't allow visitors at the hotel. With this attitude I don't believe the hotel and restaurant deserve any stars.
