Gwinnett Place Honda and specifically Joseph Snove...

Gwinnett Place Honda and specifically Joseph Snover did a wonderful job of ensuring a smooth and seamless buying experience for us. Other dealers were trying to play all the usual salesman games like "come on in and have a cup of coffee and we'll work out a deal". Joseph provided me a very competitive bid from the start and was very attentive, helpful and respectful throughout the entire buying process. It was a pleasure working with him and the rest of the folks at Gwinnett Place Honda. Our last new car purchase was approximately 11 years ago and it happened to be at Gwinnett Place Honda as well. I would highly recommend them, especially Joseph!

What an AMAZING Day...My daughter got her a new CR...

What an AMAZING Day...My daughter got her a new CRV and we met some Great People. Noah Miller greeted us in the parking lot and never left our side. He walked us through every thing we needed to know. We also met a Beautiful Woman, Deltheia Nolen who helped us with all the extras we might need or want, and handed my daughter her key She was so patient and Friendly. Albert finished up with the Financing. After a brief tutorial on the amenities we we're on our way. I want to Thank all those people who helped my Baby get her dream SUV. We prayed that morning before we left and came home Blessed.

On a recent maintenance visit and recall issue Adnan Cosic, my service advisor, answered all of my questions and concerns in a professional manner. It was my first time going here and all I can say is that they took good care of me. Right away they attend you, they quickly send someone to inspect your vehicle.
Clint Morgan was very professional at his job. He explained it all step by step. All I did was drop it off. They took it from there. They handled it like pros. My truck looks amazing! Just like when I first bought it. Thank you guys you are the best!!!!!

I went in looking at a 2013 civic SI and Lou tried for hours working to try about get it to happen, however i could not get approved to match what was left over for my trade in. We then walked the lot and we saw a 2012 Civic SI and drove it and we went back and he made this one work! i am in love with my new car, love the gas mileage, and most of all i love the GREAT cusomer service Lou gave me. He made me feel like a person and wanted me to have the car i want, he didnt look at me as a nother sale or money that he would be making. I come from a Director Position at Chick-fil-A, so i know what customer service looks like and how it should be given, and this guy was the best i have ever seen. I will be recomending all my friends and family looking for cars to come here!

We had a great experience with Bruce and when we return for the next purchase we will seek him out. Albert Thompson is the go to guy for financing. This is the second time Albert walked us through the financing. These two guys were kind, courteous, and professional. I have enjoyed my new Pilot this last week and look forward to many weeks and years of riding in style!!

Great experience purchasing a pre-owned van. I used their website to make initial contact and was contacted not long after inquiring about the van. There was not any pressure to buy and the communication before getting into the dealership was helpful. When we got to the dealership, we were treated with warm, first class service and the salesman was friendly. Actually, the whole staff treated us well. As for the vehicle, it was clean and was presented as advertised. We feel we got a great deal and the service made the experience so much better.

Neither the front desk nor the sales rep. seemed to care whether a customer is waiting for 30 min without anyone saying sorry for the long wait. One of the worst experiences I had as a potential buyer. I ended up buying a nissan instead, with a sales team much more professuonal and accommodating , and willing to negotiate. My impression was that this honda place is so complacent that their cars are highly rated that they feel that they don't really need to gratify an additional buyer. That attitude is an easy way to lose a customer.

Got excellent service from here they had made a complete mistake with the my skid plate and I was very angry with the entire situation but then they help rectify it by replacing the entire part!! I will recommend this place to everyone I know just for the great service that they gave me and my wife on her 2017 Honda Civic I really appreciate the manager that worked on my situation he was well trained and polite!

I will only take me car to Jae I can trust him to tell me what my car needs (and only what it needs n no add-ons). When my car's catalytic converter got stolen Jae took care of everything n even talked to my insurance adjust or about the accurate cost for replacement. I didn't feel victimized twice n knew Jae would take care of getting my car up and running. He is respectful, courteous , and cute :)

We bought a car last fall and returned recently to buy another one because both times we had nothing but an excellent experience throughout the sale process. Nobody else could match the offered prices and there were no late minute surprises during the paperwork. Danny Moon was my salesperson. He is a stand up guy and got me the best deal he could. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I was able to get a great deal on a 2014 Honda Pilot EX-L. Purchased my vehicle few months ago from this dealership ship, negotiated the price and bought the car. Few days ago my husband took the car to the dealership for safety recall and while waiting for the car notice the same car in the showroom. When he went over the features the car had, he realized that the car had the same tint windows we have,that the sales person told us it was lightly tinted. Well come to find out we have no tint windows and we paid $399 for them. I received zero phone calls, emails or letters from them about their mistake. If my husband didn t notice it we would still not know. Offering me to do my windows as if they are doing me a favor and not fixing their mistake. After having multiple conversations with the sales associate and sales manager, I drove 4 hours to Duluth, Georgia from Fort Stewart, Georgia. I was promised on the phone they would match the trade in allowance from another dealer and I emailed them the paperwork to verify we were all on the same page. Jayson, the sales associate did a good job and I have no complaints with his performance but Gwinnett Place Honda has seedy business practices and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE venture to this location. After waiting for a hour one of the sales managers come out to speak with us and offers me $4000.00 below what we had already spoke about for my car. Then says he never spoke to me, that they have three (3) managers all named Joseph at the location. I asked to speak to the correct Joseph and showed him the email correspondence, all he would do is offer to increase the value $500. I wanted to know why we couldn't speak to the original Joseph and his reply was, "I'll put $2000 more on this paper, will that make you happy?". I asked him if that is how he does business and told them he was still $2000 short. I drove 4 hours with my young child and 62 year old mother to this dealership, only to be lied to, cheated out of 9 hours of time the day after Christmas. This type of disgusting business atomosphere is why car buying has such a negative reputation.

Bought a "used" 2019 Honda Civic from here. Salesperson Tony Samad was super easy going, and worked with me for several hours to get me the car I really wanted at a fair price. He even followed up later to make sure I was happy with hope everything went. Highly recommend this dealership if the rest of the team acts in this professional manner. Tammy who did the financing part was also extremely customer service oriented. Will definitely look to use them again in the future for purchasing a Honda. Great Job!

October 14th:

I bought my 2019 Honda Insight Touring last week from Gwinnett Place Honda. Although there were a couple things that could've gone better, my over all experience was good.

The primary reason I'm not giving a five star review is because the car detailing service prior to me picking up my new car was not the best. There were scratch marks on the vinyl of my car that was supposed to be taken care but wasn't. There was a grease palm print on the leather seats, which is probably from the service folks, along with other marks on the leather. Finally, there was hair all over the back seats that I had to clean up.

Fortunately, everyone involved in the sales process was understanding and took care of my concerns within a few days. I brought the car back in to get properly detailed, the scratch marks removed, and the side moldings I ordered installed. Other than a little time wasted, everything in the end was fine.

My recommendations would obviously be to make sure the detailing is perfect, especially with a brand new car. Second, I'd go over the financing process more clearly and slower. For some reason, it seemed that everything was discussed secretly behind the scenes. I'm still a little puzzled about how much I got for my wife's car and how everything else was broken down in end to form to the final financed price. I shouldn't have to spend time going over the documents a second or third time afterwards.

October 26th Update:

This was my response to the questionnaire that was emailed to me:

1. When you left the dealership with your new vehicle, how was the condition? (Clean, any scratches, etc)

There were scratches on the interior vinyl, the leather interior had marks on it, and more recently I've noticed minor scratches on the exterior (e.g. scratch on the exterior rear tail light).

2. Did you have the opportunity to meet with an Accessory Specialist? What accessories are you considering to personalize your vehicle?

Yes. I purchased side moldings for door dings. I am also considering purchasing all season floor mats and trunk grocery containers.

3. Any additional comments or concerns you would like me to pass on the management?

Please review every line item on the receipt and contract. I felt it was not explained very thoroughly. When I have the time in the next few days, I will be going over each line and I will get back to you with any questions.

4. Are you likely to recommend the dealership? If not, why?

I'm at a 80% recommendation level at moment. I felt that the entire process was a little rushed (even though I was there for around four hours) and done behind the scenes. For example, I mentioned at least three times that my brother and his wife recommended that I visit this dealership. I requested that they receive a referral check of $100 for their recommendation. It's been more than two weeks and no has asked me for their information.

Doing this review for my husband as he is kind enough to bring my car in for me. My husband has had the pleasure of Ronnie taking care of the service on my car. He said Ronnie is extremely professional and remembers my husband when he brings my car in. It really makes a big difference when you as a customer are recognized and remembered each time. Hi husband said he is truly a gentleman and makes the service appointments a pleasant experience. Actually everyone we have come in contact at Gwinnett Honda are remarkable people and so customer oriented!

Visited several times in a four month span. I started on the new car side. Sales personnel were friendly and not pushy. My favorite was Amos D. I test drove several vehicles and settled on a used vehicle. Amos was with me most of the time. My used car experience was excellent. Kudos to Curtis S. There was a warranty recall when I purchase the vehicle. I took the vehicle back and was provided a loaner during that time span. Also repaired were some minor quirks too. I have nothing but great things to say about Gwinnett Honda.

My experience here was the best I've had anywhere else when it comes to getting my oil changed. The waiting room was spacious and clean with vending machines for food and free "Starbucks" coffee!!! There were charging ports for every phone anyone could have (which is rare) and a play area for the kiddos!!! I definitely recommend you go here!!!

I had an exceptionally poor experience here. I test drove a vehicle, and really liked it. I didn't put a deposit because I didn't have it on me at the time. I called my sales rep 1 hour after leaving and told him I am definitely buying the car the next day. The next day I called him again and confirmed I am coming to buy the car. We scheduled a time for me to pick it up that day. Two hours before I was supposed to pick it up, a sales manager calls me and says he took a deposit on the car from someone in Alabama over the phone. Ridiculous, here I am payment ready, appointment made, ready to buy, and they sell to someone that hasn't even seen the car. Here's the real kicker, they call me towards the end of the day and say the car is still available if I want to come and get. I guess the other guy backed out. I didn't buy it.
Shameless and dispicable. Take your business elsewhere. Ps. I called the GM and left him a message about my experience, hoping to straighten things out. He never called me back

I gave 5 stars for their quick service and replacing the battery for free because I had just recently purchased the car. The only downfall is their carwash after the service. I have been to another Honda to have service for a different vehicle and they did a vacuum and full wash themselves. Very nice. This place has a rickety drive thru for exterior only. No one around to help either. It was pretty rough. I could have done better. For being such a large dealership, they could invest more in that area.

Great experience at Gwinnett Place Honda! I was helped by Aaron, who was very knowledgeable about the features and specs of the cars. He made sure I got the best interest rate possible, saving me money in the process. Also, the finance manager Robert was great. He really spent his time explaining all the benefits of added warranties and other services they offered, which I m sure will also save me money in the long run. They made this transaction as smooth as possible. I can t thank them enough.
