I bought my 2019 Honda Insight Touring last week from Gwinnett Place Honda. Although there were a couple things that could've gone better, my over all experience was good.
The primary reason I'm not giving a five star review is because the car detailing service prior to me picking up my new car was not the best. There were scratch marks on the vinyl of my car that was supposed to be taken care but wasn't. There was a grease palm print on the leather seats, which is probably from the service folks, along with other marks on the leather. Finally, there was hair all over the back seats that I had to clean up.
Fortunately, everyone involved in the sales process was understanding and took care of my concerns within a few days. I brought the car back in to get properly detailed, the scratch marks removed, and the side moldings I ordered installed. Other than a little time wasted, everything in the end was fine.
My recommendations would obviously be to make sure the detailing is perfect, especially with a brand new car. Second, I'd go over the financing process more clearly and slower. For some reason, it seemed that everything was discussed secretly behind the scenes. I'm still a little puzzled about how much I got for my wife's car and how everything else was broken down in end to form to the final financed price. I shouldn't have to spend time going over the documents a second or third time afterwards.

This was my response to the questionnaire that was emailed to me:
1. When you left the dealership with your new vehicle, how was the condition? (Clean, any scratches, etc)
There were scratches on the interior vinyl, the leather interior had marks on it, and more recently I've noticed minor scratches on the exterior (e.g. scratch on the exterior rear tail light).
2. Did you have the opportunity to meet with an Accessory Specialist? What accessories are you considering to personalize your vehicle?
Yes. I purchased side moldings for door dings. I am also considering purchasing all season floor mats and trunk grocery containers.
3. Any additional comments or concerns you would like me to pass on the management?
Please review every line item on the receipt and contract. I felt it was not explained very thoroughly. When I have the time in the next few days, I will be going over each line and I will get back to you with any questions.
4. Are you likely to recommend the dealership? If not, why?
I'm at a 80% recommendation level at moment. I felt that the entire process was a little rushed (even though I was there for around four hours) and done behind the scenes. For example, I mentioned at least three times that my brother and his wife recommended that I visit this dealership. I requested that they receive a referral check of $100 for their recommendation. It's been more than two weeks and no has asked me for their information.
