Great Ski resort for all ages and skill levels. Check out the night ski package, well worth it!
Awsome coaster...sumit was beautiful and the zip line was super fast..highly recommend for a fun family day...and the tree top adventure was very challenging and a blast!
Great place, the snow feels real, and the foods good.
Stay as a seasonal camper.. great location to hiking the white mountains
Reasonably priced and the Flex Pass gets you all tickets half-price. One of the better deals i have seen. They have night skiing and a decent terrain park.
I one day was in line a lift when the line wasn t moving towards the lift entry area so me and my friend decided oh no one is going to the lift entry area, as we start moving and employee says wait your turn like the other people (that s roughly what he said) at this time I didn t know that the two parts of the line take turns going to the lift. As it was me and my friend go towards the lift I heard him say something like people these days ya know? To the whole line. I find that a bit rude to insult people to a large crowd. The slopes are great though.
Good family skiing. Lots of different degrees of difficulty. Awesome terrain park. Conditions were great. Lift ticket got us mountain coaster and tuning included for extra fun.
Check out the Lakes Region Disabled Sports for a great volunteering opportunity.
So much stuff to do. Staff is super friendly we did all most everything but the zip line. So much fun.
Great Ski Resort with very well and organized activities from Skiing+Snowboarding and Tubing recreations. Well run facilities and a lot of activities during the summer like Zip Line, Obstacles Courses, Water Activities and Roller Coaster Rides.
Love going to Gunstock on the weekdays. Weekends are a little too busy
This resort is great for families. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. I love teaching my kids to ski here.
This is a great mountain. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have great facilities from their top of the line learning and adaptive centers during the winter to their amazing summer programs. They tree top adventures was a blast and the summer coaster was very fun too. Never miss a chance to ski here when I get the chance
Day trip ski. Closest mountain. Conditions were Icey but overall a fun day. Beautiful view of the lake from the top of the mountain. Lots of lifts open. It can get pretty busy but I would still recommend.
Drove up from MD twice for Xmas break to go skiing here. Great resort and slopes. Love the towns in the lake area, very nice people.
Would you please tell your employees to just tell us that you're not taking the TAP card discount anymore instead of this going round & round in circles about a voucher which they don't know anything about. Yes I didn't know anything about it either but I'm the customer and they're the employee and they should know something about it or at least be able to give a little bit of an explanation about it. It would make for a lot less confusion.
A great family Mountain. Super easy and convenient to get to. The Groomer's and snow-making teams do a real nice job.
Best views in New England. Great family resort. Conditions are almost always amazing.
Great ski resort! Good number of slopes with some long ones. Snow was good. Not too crowded and night skiing is awesome!
Bit hard to find the start of a hike. Some of the staff didn't know either.
Had a lovely time. Used a discount pass which half the price. Suggest you look for specials.
Summer visit. Expensive, yes, but worth every penny. The staff were lovely and the activities exceptional. Maybe bring your own food, because the cafeteria is overpriced for the quality the menu.
While perusing through activities on Groupon I found a listing for the zip line course, purchased four tickets between me and a friend to take our spouses on a nice day trip. A few days later I get an email from gunstock saying that my coupons were expiring the following weekend. I called customer service (the welcome center) and explained that I had just purchased the coupons and there was no expiration date listed, or I wouldn t have purchased them knowing I couldn t get there that fast (we planned to day trip up and zip line in the folliage, later in the fall) The agent (A rather cranky woman) I spoke with told me there were no returns, or credits towards anything else allowed , and that all I could do was redeem the Groupon value, and pay the additional $74 to utilize what I had already paid in. Rather exasperated at the lacking customer service, and wanting to utilize the $300Ish we had already spent , we did so, and had a short but enjoyable experience.
The zip line course is only three (long) lines and if you choose to book in the afternoon (we went at 1:30) you only have time (A lot of time is absorbed waiting for the next tour, then setting up in the harnesses, then getting up the mountain) to enjoy it once before they shut down for last call at 3:00. Neither I, or anyone in this group, would bring business to this resort again.
PS: the alpine adventures course in Lincoln is FAR superior to both Gunstock, they have several experience levels to enjoy, and each course has special features like large drops and zipping through the trees, it s amazing!
Summer "Adventure Tour" is worth the $88 ticket price (weekday). The Zipline is highhhhh up there and a bit nerve racking at first but the Guides are informative and the harnesses are safe and secure. You feel good once you're on the zip line! Bonus is you can participate in more than the zipline theoughout the day. The alpine ride is fast and fun!
A bit slushy but fairly easy and as always, beautiful!
This was a company party and was the most fun. Try all the rides!
We did segway and ziplining..plan for a full day to enjoy..
An older lady (Mary?) was berating an employee for not having a name tag right in front of me at the bar. Hearing this incident actually made me switch to Cranmore. I used to love coming here, but the past few week since the last GM left things have been much worse. If things go back to normal I d love to start coming here again, but I really bad for the employees and I can t support that.
We come here almost every year. Always a great time. Conditions were perfect this weekend, going back today for some tubing.
Love it here, so much to do, never a full moment here. Everyone is nice and helpful. I've been coming here since a little kid and I'm still not sick of this place. We came here for the New year's party and it was low key, fun and had a small town feel like as if we all knew each other. I feel like this place is a hidden gem for sure.
Great MTB trails from beginner to experienced riding styles
I went to Soul fest 2018 here. A very beautiful place for the whole family
They are doing very good with customer service despite covid restrictions. I appreciate the staff here for doing what they can do I can enjoy my snowboard so close to home!!!
Gunstock Mountain Resort hosted Soul Fest the same weekend we were there. Soul Fest is a Christian music concert that lasts three days. We were camping far from the stage a.nd the music was only audible from 10:30am to 10:30pm. The camp ground wasn't prepared for the additional campers and their trash. There aren't enough bathrooms, showers, or toilet paper.
So pleased and proud to have this wonderful recreation center and ski resort in my "backyard". Always a first-class effort to provide the sporting public with lots to do year-round. Throw in spectacular views and exciting rides and you have no reason to go anywhere else.
Customer service and instructors are excellent. Children center is excellent offering for kids as well as parents. Take a FlexPass for discounts if you are planning to visit for multiple days.
Friendly, suitable for all skier abilities, near Boston, great views, and excellent season pass rates and other lift tickets. Family mountain with beginner to steep terrain. Good snow making . Excellent senior-mid week rates.
It was icy the day we went but i like this mountain. Bar with the bands could be bigger
Such a great way to spend the day if you are looking for adventure! Zipline activity was short; however, the ziplines were long and worth it!!
Went for snow tubing and coaster rides. Terrific experience. Would gladly visit again.
Beautiful, peaceful, quiet area. I love the outdoors.
Small mountain feel but many perks. The staff was so friendly! My kids loved their ski instructors and the guys on the snow coaster were hysterical. I cant wait to go back.
I've had a winter season pass here every year since I moved into the area 15+ years ago. I snowboard to an intermediate level and although this isn't the biggest resort in NE, I've visited almost all, I find the varied and interesting terrain here almost all I need. Also taught my wife to board here and it has been a great resort for that. Staff are friendly and facilities usually clean and good.
The only caveat I have to add is that I avoid at weekends and school holidays. This is a family resort and when you are used to space and no queues almost every time you visit anything else is a disappointment... I guess I'm spoiled
Did some zip-lining! It was awesome. A lot of trails for the kids to ride their bikes. Big area, natural water spots. Away from everything. It's a nice camping experience
Awsome experience. Nothing but fun for the whole family.
I was here during the summer. They have zip-lines, aerial ropes corses, kayaking... and lots of other stuff.
Here for soulfest but the place is great for families. So much to do such as ziplining, paddle boats, different rides and adventures
I use to go here as a child. I learned how to ski here so many grand memories
I ve never been there, but my experience getting in touch with someone over the phone was awful. I have 2 tickets that I bought for New Years Eve. I was trying to contact them because my son wasn t feeling well and I was hoping that they could give us a gift card to use on a different date. But no one ever returned my phone calls. I called about 6 times. Bad experience!
Opening day...just two short trails open but the snow is in good condition. From what I saw everybody was obeying the COVID rules
A historic ski lodge built as a WPA project during the Great Depression, and a 1400' vertical drop ski area near Lake Winnipesaukee.
Not the best place to bring somone between 13 and 15. All the fun stuff is 16 and older
Hiking up Rowe mountain across Gunstock to Belnap fire tower. Amazing day
I had a blast here, the staff was friendly, the food and mixed drinks were pretty good. I just wish they had more activities. For two hours we went back and forth between tubing and riding the mountain coaster, an arcade or something like that word have been nice.
I went for the first time to attend the Soulfest Concerts. It was very well set up and I loved that they offered free handicap parking for my mother-in-law. We only spent one day but they did offer overnight camping. They also have lots of activities to choose from ranging from the free kids bounce area to Ziplines for the older ones. We spent most of our time on the ski lift. They had performers at the top playing music as well as music on the main stage. Lots of food vendors to choose from but I didn't notice whether they had a permanent food option there. I'm sure they do in the winter months.
Had a great time here on the snow tubing hill and the coaster. It was very warm out and likely one of the last days for the hill. Still enjoyed ourselves for the two hour pass to these two areas.
We were at Gunstock for a Christian music festival but the people were great the atmosphere was fun the music was amazing and the food is pretty good too
Good cheap place for beginner's snowboarding. Would not recommend the summer zip lining. It is a pain lugging the harness around after each checkpoint. I accidentally dropped my harness when I got off the lift. I had to wait 30 min until someone brought me a new one
