Great family camping experience...on site activities,,,zip line, mountain coaster, water activities...Lake Winnipesaukee nearby..
Great campground for an FMCA chapter rally. Huge camp sites.
Took my 5yo son for his first snowboarding lesson here. He fell asleep in the car on the way home just as we were leaving the parking lot. Mission accomplished! He also has fun and asked to go again so we are this weekend.
Tubing park is way overcrowded, had to be least 150 people for tubing , got to go down 3 times only in 2 hour window, and spent almost the whole 2 hours waiting in line
Mountain open through mid March. Even in slushy conditions still great skiing.
I loved the view of the snowy mountaintops and conifers upon arrival. I tried snowboarding for the first time and found it very fun, especially after I moved from the practice "bunny slope" to the significantly longer slope with the chairlift.
The staff member from whom we bought our tickets was very friendly and helpful as well as patient with our large group. Since we went night skiing (~ 4:30-7pm), both lessons and equipment rentals were free, so overall it was relatively inexpensive! Unfortunately, the teachers didn't seem very enthusiastic but did their job.
Fun place but family needs to be 16 and older to really enjoy what it has to offer. Typically expensive as any ski resort area. Mountain coaster was fun but much too short for the money. Scenic lift was very nice ride.
Went for xc skiing. Get there early to make sure you can rent gear, they almost ran out by noon when we went. The xc trails can be a mix of groomed and ungroomed depending on conditions, check their website. Most of the green trails are very accessable to beginers. Skied up to the campfire where they had hot coffee, cocoa, and smores... You can also go of trail on some snow shoe loops
Great family mountain! Fabulous view from the top. Good snow. Very little ice. Foot rests on the lifts would be fantastic.
Went skiing for the first time yesterday! Kenny was the instructor and he was so nice!
Great place to go just expensive. Prices should include rentals not go through private companies
Went here in Feb 2016 and the conditions were amazing. Plenty of Beginner-Intermediate trails, we didn't want to leave!! Bring your own skis if you want to skip the line.
Hi folks,
I arrived this morning for first chair. Big sun and a warm day! Big disappointment. Complete lack of social distancing at the lift. Limited signage with no attempt to keep skiers socially distanced at the lift!
Improvement is urgently needed!
We had the most amazing evening at Gunstock. Our friends visiting from England and Scotland learned to ski for the first time. The ski instructors were patient and knowledgeable.
Tubing park is way overcrowded, they sell way too many tickets for tubing and you spend 1 and half hours out of your 2 hour slot waiting in lines and only 30 min of actual tubing, got to go down 4 times only in 2 hour window, will not be coming back here again for tubing.
Great place, next time I want to try the adventure Park.
Had a really good time we went on a monday so not too busy though the slopes were not as well groomed as I had hope though there had also been rain two days before so i cant blame them too much. A little pricey but would go again.
Adventure Park had a lot of activities, enough for my 7 year old a d $40 for unlimited access for the day
Great mountain for skiing, snow tubing and boarding! Beautiful views from the summit. Can't wait to try these mountain coaster.
We are new to skiing and took a couple lessons and found everyone from the ski rental to the lessons were extremely helpful especially for beginners. The skiing has been great and seems like trails for all abilities
It was suppose to be open until 4 but the panorama ride closed at 3..I was very disappointed
Love it here. Fun place to camp or go to the adventure park.
My grandson is having a great time learning to ski from the lessons there.
A great place in the Belknap range to complete the list. I just received my badge for completing all 12 summits
We had a wonderful time during Columbus day weekend, even though it was a bit chilly and rainy. My son loved the mountain coaster, I loved the zip line. There was something for all ages.
Great friendly staff, had an excellent first timer lesson. Beginner terrain is nice. I can't speak for the more difficult terrain though.
First time skiing and me and my family are planning to go again
Very cool really long zip line(s) and mountain coaster, along with many other summer attractions. Good restaurant. Great for kids.
Good quality food, but the customer service needs improvement.
Went tubing with some friends and had a great time.
Well we reserved 12pm snowtubing they told us they were delayed 45min to 145min. Not allowed to sit in the second or part of the third floors of the lodge to wait. Where you can wait were full. We have yet to see the sloped so I may edit. 3rd floor staff shoo'd us out because they don't open until 1pm. Hopefully we will be on the slopes by then. At this point I am very unhappy.
Gunstock is a very fun mountain for skiing/boarding. There is a good variety of trails to keep busy all day, and the terrain parks offer a bunch of features. I have gone multiple times this season, but was disappointed on my recent weekend visit with how the lift lines are being handled. Lines are very long and people will come right up against your back and not have masks on despite COVID and all state mandates. Lift staff occasionally remind people of masks, but there is no system in place to social distance. I have noticed other mountains doing a much better job of regulating COVID requirements. With all of that said, I would recommend a midweek trip because the mountain is very nice, and the staff is friendly.
Staff was great. Zip lines were amazing. The last two especially. Views of lake winnipesaukee can't be beat. Mountain coaster was also a blast!
A great place to camp. Facilities are clean. So many activities to do. And the Landing Zone restaurant has excellent food and service.
Visiting Gunstock for the 3rd time from the UK. 2nd time in winter. The staff here are freakin awesome. Small ski resort but you can max out a day easy. Ski. Beer. Ski. Beer. Ski. Lunch. Ski.ski. etc
Come.one.come all!! #awesome
What a great small mountian with a lot to do. The kids and i loved it.
Just took the chairlift to the top and hung out for a bit.
Inexpensive, relaxing, and scenic ride... No waiting.
I camped here during Soulfest last week and I plan on going back again next year! The main lodge is big and spacious and kept very clean and polished.
The view from the top of the ski lift is beautiful.
There are lots of activities for children and adults alike not only during Soulfest but year round; they also have a boardwalk.
Nice place. Zip line was fun. People running it were nice and friendly. The coster was fun as well.
This is perhaps the greatest family oriented mountain in New England
I work as a volunteer here, and because hundreds of volunteers work for this Belknap County owned mountain, it has a special atmosphere because the people who work here feel a special ownership of the place and what they do here.
The terrain is great for a moderately small mountain, and the view from the summit is one of the best in all of New England as well.
So, this just happened. We had this great day skiing in fresh snow with my step-son and his kids. It wives don't ski, so they spent the day in the Lodge catching up. We were splitting up and giving hugs downstairs in the middle of the lodge while the food service workers were finishing cleanup in the cafeteria, and they joined right in and hugged us good-bye. It was great.
We just spent our fourth time camping at Soul Fest on Gunstock mountain. We love the atmosphere and we're grateful for the friendly helpful staff
Nice place to enjoy at weekends. You can go there and have fun during winter as well as summer. Lots of attractions for all ages. Fantastic views of New Hampshire landscapes.
Great place to go skiing or snowboarding in the winter.
We had the best day with the family! We did the treetop ropes course. It was awesome!! Fun for the whole family! Can't wait for their coaster to be up and running!
Pricey 64 bucks for two turns on the mountain coaster with a 7 yr old
Have been coming up for Soulfest for years. Come on gunstock, can you mow the hill? And if bathroom is OUT of toilet paper.....can you bring more than ONE roll for 3 stalls?????
The beginner lessons were great! Everyone who works there is very helpful. Food and soft drinks are outrageously expensive.
Went to see the adult racing on Thursday night, the race was cancelled due to last minute fog, but I had to find that out from one of the racers, suggest you put up a message board at the lodge so everyone can be informed.
Gunstock is a great family mountain but wish they still had their flex plans. They stopped all ski deals and flex plans due to covid.
Thank you to Steve for the Segway Tour. Lisa for speaking with me during your lunch. All the staff members that we encountered loved their work!!! Great place to visit!!! So much to do!!!
Had a great time at the mountain enjoying all of the activities. The personnel were very friendly and helpful.
We have visited this recreation area in all seasons and always found it to be a value for the price. The views from the summit of Lake Winnipesaukee are spectacular and can be enjoyed both summer and winter. The skiing and winter tubing are fun and gauged toward family enjoyment with and outdoor slope side bar on Saturday afternoon and free s'mores on Sundays. We have also enjoyed the Mountain Coaster, Tree Tops Course, Segway rides, and camping in the summer.
Fun place to go for an hour or a day. Ziplining is the best
Great place to ski with terrain for all abilities. North America's longest zip line is here to, so for the non skiers in the family there is something else to do.
New RFID ski passes are great... The staff is super nice and happy to help. Been coming here for 30+ years.
Great place to learn how to ski! Friendly staff and fun atmosphere.
It was a great great day. Lots of value for your money and more activities than I expected. If you know what you're getting into, it's hard to be disappointed with this beautiful place. Made me proud to be from New Hampshire. The people were really nice and it was just a lot of fun.
Such a family-friendly mountain. Great deals for 60 plus seniors too
Amazing activities available at the resort. Great views of the area as well.
Great mountain, the team does a wonderful job in maintaining the lifts and snow. Lodges are large and the cafe at the lodges are expensive (expected) but offer above-average options.
Good skiing, but there is better in the area. Go Mondays for 2for1.
