While perusing through activities on Groupon I found a listing for the zip line course, purchased four tickets between me and a friend to take our spouses on a nice day trip. A few days later I get an email from gunstock saying that my coupons were expiring the following weekend. I called customer service (the welcome center) and explained that I had just purchased the coupons and there was no expiration date listed, or I wouldn t have purchased them knowing I couldn t get there that fast (we planned to day trip up and zip line in the folliage, later in the fall) The agent (A rather cranky woman) I spoke with told me there were no returns, or credits towards anything else allowed , and that all I could do was redeem the Groupon value, and pay the additional $74 to utilize what I had already paid in. Rather exasperated at the lacking customer service, and wanting to utilize the $300Ish we had already spent , we did so, and had a short but enjoyable experience.

The zip line course is only three (long) lines and if you choose to book in the afternoon (we went at 1:30) you only have time (A lot of time is absorbed waiting for the next tour, then setting up in the harnesses, then getting up the mountain) to enjoy it once before they shut down for last call at 3:00. Neither I, or anyone in this group, would bring business to this resort again.

PS: the alpine adventures course in Lincoln is FAR superior to both Gunstock, they have several experience levels to enjoy, and each course has special features like large drops and zipping through the trees, it s amazing!
