Great shows, friendly staff and educational experience
They do great rescue work and pass knowledge of preservation while having a Great time!
Great family entertainment. Really enjoy that the shows are included with the general admission price!
It was an awesome experience. I really enjoyed the dolphin show. I sat in the splash zone area and got soaking wet. What a blast.
The bottle nose dolphins show was pretty impressive! The rest of the park was a bit disappointing...I wouldn't say it was worth $30. I am am adult with no kids though. This is definitely more of a kid oriented attraction. Nothing wrong with that, kids definitely get a kick out of the three shows.
Dolphin area was very nice. Cool show. The rest of the place seemed shabby. Do not watch dolphin show first or you will be woefully underwhelmed by the rest of the shows.
They are very aware of the issues that occur around the world and I appreciate that. The dolphins are almost trained better than dogs. Great staff. Great place.
Not alot of animals but nice place dolphin show was good and my girlfriend did the dolphin experience she loved it...all in all good place to visit for the kids
The most amazing experience... The trainers and staff are awesome and very knowledgeable! Definitely a must do if your in town.
Great convenient walk from almost anywhere on Front Beach Road. Lots smaller, than SeaWorld so you can plan about 2.5 hours here at most. The Dolphin show is good for the kiddos, feeding the stingrays is fun for everyone. It is a bit pricey for the small venue and amount of activities. The swimming with the dolphins is the main feature and it's a bit expensive (additional charge).
Great dolphin show, great that you can get so close to all the animals.
They abuse their animals and are absolutely heartless
A really nice show and very clean, concessions were excellent, large amounts of food for a good price.
Make sure you do the VIP Sea Life experience. Trainers in all the encounters worked with the animals and participants very well. The photographers (Bethany and Alexis) were also impressive in documenting such sweet memories. Getting to swim with the animals made our whole day enjoyable so if you don't want to do the VIP experience I definitely recommend signing up to do at least one encounter!
A group of three, we were very disappointed. For $32 a piece, the attraction was lacking. We expected to see a lot of fish, dolphins, sharks, etc but there wasn't much. The dolphins aren't even visible unless there is a show going on. It takes 30 minutes to see the rest of the park, so then you have to wait for an hour to see the dolphins. The restrooms were disgusting and two of the three were out of order during my visit. Food and drinks were expensive, but this is typical for tourist attractions.
This review would be a one star if it weren't for the awesome dolphin/sea lion show that we waited for. If you have any children, they will absolutely love this and it almost makes the $32 worth it.
Total scam, we paid hundreds of dollars do the experiences with our family. We were never told that you had to pay $100dollars extra for your photos. We were not informed of this until the very end. Very dissatisfied
1st time seeing anything like this & really enjoyed it!!
I loved going wity my family to see an species of dolphins that you can only see in gulf world the rough toothed dolphins so cute and the bottle nose dolphins are even cuter and in almost every show you can volunteer to go on stage i volunteered for the rough toothed dolphins and we practiced targeting were i stuck my hand over the tank and ivan (so cute)came up to me and touched my hand and held the position they are just so cute i would love to come back definitely family friendly.
I did a Trainer for a day and I absolutely loved it! From every Department/Area I traveled too, all the trainers were able to answer any questions I had. They were all so friendly and personalable. I also was able to do the Royal Swim and it was a blast! I highly recommend it! I had a great overall experience and I can t wait to go back.
Nice aquatic exhibit. Very knowledgeable and personable staff. Offers several hands-on experiences with different types of animals. The only downfall, which left me fuming, is that after I paid $100 for pictures, I have to download their app to get my pics.
I've been to Gulf world three times loved it every time take all my company here they always have a great time it's a must see place
It was awesome!! Like always..I love this place. Thank you for all you do for the animals
Interesting and entertaining. Best part was dolphin show. Would rate higher if the price were low. Not busy in the off season.
Love it it is always fun to go to and enjoy the shows . I take all my out of town guess.
Love visiting Gulf world little pricey but so worth it
What these trainers do with dolphins is jaw-dropping. Compares to any of the big water/sea life attractions anywhere else in the world. The Royal Swim is an absolutely wonderful experience that I'd recommend anyone to try that likes being in contact with dolphins. Very good for people of all ages and everything is readily handicap accessible.
Great location and super friendly staff, but when I spend $100 for 3 people to get in I expect a little more stuff to do, I thought the swimming with the dolphins came with the all day pass but it doesn t then the food is outrageously priced. Plus if you want to interact with the animals like feed them you have to pay $5+ to do that. I had an okay time it was just hot and I really do feel like it was a waste of money.
Very expensive, oh so hot, and really not a lot to see.
My daughter loved the dolphin adventure! What impressed me even more was a trainer who hopped in with an autistic child & showed such incredible patience and care for him!
Not alot to do for the cost. Within an hour we had seen everything there is to see and do.
Nice experience for adults and children. I recommend it and good price.
Fun for all ages! The shows are amazing! All the animals were rescued. They nurse them back to health and return them to their natural habitat when possible.
I went to swim with the dolphins for my 30th birthday this weekend. I had the best time
If you are nostalgic for the 80s this is the place to be. The decor is outdated, and the place seems dated, though it covers the basics well. It's a pretty small place and would be best for younger kids if you're going with a family.
The stingray feeding was nice, and the dolphin show was above average, my family enjoyed it. The only reason you might spend more than 2 hours there is if you're waiting on an activity to start.
Wasn't to impressed with the exibits. The park was very small, but they are doing great things by taking in injured animals that can't live in the wild.
Fun place for the littles. We all loved the dolphin show. It started right on time and lasted 25 minutes. The other educational chats were good too.
It's was an awesome experience seeing all the mammals. Dolphins especially
Wow loved this place! It isn't large but I actually liked that. It's a great place to bring the family. They have a great variety of animals and you get to be so close to all of them. Seems like they care alot about the animals. The dolphin and seal show was awesome and entertaining. A must for the family. They have a food and drink place as well.
Barbara hahn is amazing, cares so much about her field. She needs more recognition.
The lady who was doing the sea lion and dolphin show at about 11:00AM on the 27th of July had an extremely annoying voice. It was hard to enjoy the show because of it.
Interaction with dolphins is a great experience ! Only dealt with one rude & unfriendly Gulf World employee which is not worth complaining about since all others (15+) were friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful.
Smaller version of Sea World, some animals were inside and some outside. Several shows to see throughout the day, all the seating was protected from the sun.
Swimming with dolphins is an experience of a lifetime!
Visiting from Texas staying in Destin took a day trip to Panama City Beach to go to Gulf World since we went to Gulfarium last year. Really disappointed half of the exhibits are under construction seal and penguin and the aquarium was closed since the exhibits around are being worked on. The staff did not mention this before entering and there was no discount since half of the attractions where closed.
Fun for children and adults. Bird show, dolphin show was the best. Down side they try to get as much money as they can from you.
Super fun for the whole family! Friendly staff! A great way to spend a whole day. My son rode a dolphin and we got to see multiple animals.
Very cool place for people of all ages. The shows are just like how SeaWorld used to be.
Loved the dolphin and bird show. Seals and turtles were cool too.
I came here to check off riding a dolphin from my bucket list. It was extremely overpriced. My boyfriend had to pay to get in to watch me which we didnt even explore the place because it was so hot and took forever. We waited 15 minutes in line. 15 minutes sitting and waiting. Then another 15 minutes to upload the pictures. No cameras or phones which forces everyone to pay for pictures which is CRAZY. $55 for a CD of all the images. $35 for one printed out picture. It's a shame because the dolphins were fun. & everything else kind of ruined the experience.
Had an awesome experience here. Visited twice and enjoyed both times. The dolphin show is great.
Probably due to Covid but Gulf World so seriously lackluster especially given the high entrance cost. We paid about the same amount as the Georgia Aquarium which was amazing. We only attended the dolphin show which was pretty good but the rest of the place felt like it was on autopilot with no thrills or closed.
Very fun. Pricy for what is there. A very small Sea World. The add ons would be neat, just expensive.
Went there on holiday and did a little research after. Turns out they starve and abuse their animals if they don't perform perfectly, plus the customer service was awful
This place is great. The animals seem happy and comfortable. The shows all provide education. We come here every time we're in PCB.
Only cool thing was the sea turtles, too pricy for nothing to really see.
Loved how up close and personal the experience was with the animals! Had a great time ! Much more hands on with the animals then the large parks! Lots of fun!
Pretty expensive but the sea lion is awesome and the sawtooth dolphins
Really fun experience with cool animals despite the large price
This place is amazing and definitely worth the money!!
