Great place to visit in PCB they rescue and rehab sea life :)
Animals need to be in the ocean. Not cages.

This place is amazing! Life time experience! I got kissed by a seal and held hands with a dolphin lol
Excellent place, animals very alert, great sea lions and dolphin show, excellent food!!! We had an amazing time, kids loved it!
Way too expensive, not worth the money , parts of it is fallen down , the food is not worth the price , the shows are cheap looking . I gave 1 star for the dolphins.
Loved seeing all of the rescued rescued animals. The dolphin and sea lion shows were really great.
Our favorite thing to do in PCB. Pop in first thing in the morning while it's still cool and see all of the shows, then grab tacos at Diego's next door.
I enjoyed everything but there's not much to see in between shows especially when you see everything before the first show. We left before the last one because I didn't want to look at the same stuff for the third time. It would help to get there in time for the first show and look at other areas in between. The dolphin show was really cool even though I hate to see anything wild contained in such small habitats. The other show had acts too spaced out and my 5yo got bored quickly. We enjoyed the birds and stingrays.
We are from Texas and visited panama for baseball. We decided to visit gulfworld to see what it was about. My girls are ages 9 and 15 and they absolutely loved it! I highly recommend the dolphin encounter to any person of any age! The rates were reasonable compared to sea world and the staff here was awesome! We did the dolphin encounter and Erica was our animal trainer!! She was very helpful with our youngest and very knowledgeable of the dolphins! We had a great time and will definitely visit again for the dolphin swim!
If your worried about covid becareful lines inside are long close and not monitored.
Fun place to go with the kids. I was expecting just dolphins and some other sea animals but they have quite a few birds and other exhibits. They have shows running throughout the day and they're short enough for the kiddos to hold still & get some enjoyment.
I liked it. I did the dolphin encounter and left like,
We had a blast! The sea turtles were active and so pretty! The dolphin show was awesome! We got soaked!
Very well organized and scheduled activities.
There is a great variety of animals you can see from a really close distance (the birds are not even in cages) The food ia good.
And the shows are just SPECTACULAR!
Had a great day. Gulf World was awesome, first visit.
Beautiful birds and animals. Many are rescued and all are treated well. Dog and cat show was humourous and inspiring.
It's ok but not very big if you have to pay full price. The show's a very well done.
Was a bit steep in price for such a small amount of exhibits. Most of birds were not out, dolphin show was great!
Dirty tanks, dirty floors, dirty animals, overpriced and slippery floors.
Zero stars if possible. Please don't go here, don't give them anymore money
Got to feed the stingrays with my wife. Awesome experience
Loved my experience. Prices are kind of high, but overall I had a great time. Dolphins are awesome.
It was ok, not very big for the price and alot of the attractions are sad for the animals
Absolutely amazing place cheap fee and wonderful crew!!
Very fun and enjoyable, not too pricey and some great employees!
Smaller than I expected. There could be more order to the Dolphin and the Sea Lion shows. Sometimes it feels like everything is happening at once and nothing at all. But it's still pretty fun.
The visit was good as usual. Not a large environment, so it's easy to see all the shows. From the sea lion and rough toothed dolphin to the bird show, they are all good. I just want to give a special shout out to Alyssa. ( I hope I spelled that right) Unfortunate for her, we caught her training a dolphin and when she was done I asked her a question. That question turned into about a 15-20 min conversation where I became even more impressed with her than I was when I watched her with the dolphins. If she only knew how big my love for dolphins is, she would understand the importance of her knowledge and time where to myself and my husband. To hear about the dedication, internships, volunteer work and most importantly her years and years of education was quite impressive. I think the management staff should know what a special staff member you have in her. I obviously don't have near the experience or knowledge that she has but my heart skips a few beats in the presence of these intelligent creatures. I almost always get emotional. Thank you Alyssa for your time and insight. You have the composure of a true leader and I hope you will be there when I come back again next year. (We make at least 2 trips to Gulf World a year.)
Extremely disappointed, a waste of money. Most of the exhibits were closed for renovations. Save your time and money, wait until renovations are over before visiting.
Nice place for your little ones to interact with many animals from all over the world. But it is usually very busy and overall hard to get around. It is also very hard to get a parking spot. But I would recommend it for your kids and even adults. Just be very careful and cautious with your kids and yourselves.
Kids had a great time and swam with the dolphins. Besides the dolphin show, Gulf World is small and a little boring.
We originally only purchased the general admission ticket, but when we arrived we decided to do the dolphin encounter. It high in price, but worth it. The dolphin was wonderful and defiantly an experience that you should do. The sea lion/dolphin show was cute and the bottlenose dolphin show was awesome. I thought they have more to just walk around and see but with the shows and what they had provided good sights when just walking throw.
I'd go again and hopefully next time we can do the royal swim with the dolphins.
Please don t visit. I find it so hard to see you keep these beautiful creatures in captivity while they should swim free in the ocean. I know this for you is just making money but making money on harmless animals is unacceptable. Don't let you get fooled by the smile of a dolphin. It's because of their jaw structure that it looks like they are smiling but they aren't. Please please please consider what you are doing and turn things around. You can go home after your day of fun, they can t.
Awesome shows!! Very informative, educational and FUN! The staff were all awesome at the shows, the food and beverage vendors were wonderful, and the additional staff, that were positioned at points throughout the area, were kind and helpful and were happy to help at every turn! Our kids had a blast!
Tons to see and shows throughout the day to take up an entire day! Many of the birds will interact with you; respond to their names, repeat whistling sounds and even dance when you do the motions. Make sure to check out all 3 shows during the day! Worth the time. The whole family enjoyed this trip.
Had a lot of fun there with my son. He had his picture taken with a dolphin and sea lion and it made his trip worth wild!
Had an awesome time at Gulf World for our first annual Mother's Day getaway!
The dolphin encounter was absolutely amazing, the shows were all great and we all loved it!
Great family outing. Great place for making memories.
I can see charging for photos, but when you pay hundreds of dollars and are told the only photos you can have or take must be purchased for hundreds more dollars is absolutely ridiculous. 2 people to do the discovery (mid range pricepoint) and photo cost nearly 500 bucks. Beware of the insane photo prices.
Place had little,to do and very very very not handicap friendly. Steps twice as high as a normal step and NO handrails! Totally ,not a place I would send anyone to or recommend to anyone that needs normal steps with rails. Too expensive for what you get . also $2 for a bottle of water? Rip off
Knowledgeable friendly staff. Clean. Good shows. More than just an aquarium.
Awesome, entertaining and cool, good learning experience for the little ones
It's really an amazing place, especially if you cannot make it to SeaWorld. Not just for tourists either. I've seen every show, the sea lions are amazing to watch. At the dolphin show you can really tell how much the trainers love and care for the animals all while watching the dolphins perform amazing feats. Great place for kids and adults.
A fun way to spend a morning while in Destin. The sea lion and dolphin shows are very worth while. They were both informative and entertaining. Definitely worth the visit!
It was smaller than what I had imagined and it was so hot while watching dolphin show. They should invest in big outdoor fans for the auditorium.
We went today ( 11- 7- 2020 ) and took are son 16 teen and Grandson who is 2 . I do not recommend going this time of year. All they animals and what not was not available. There were a lot of the stuff that was not open. Some of the stuff was being worked on and updated for next year . Which is great but they should say this on the website and when you call . We sent 110.00 dollars to get in not knowing any of this .
This is the best!! You can swimm with dolfins!! You can feed stingrays!! I don't understand why you would not want to come!!!
This place is a great and affordable. If you are going to see the shows. But as soon as it come to close encounters with the sea life. Best get ready to spend some hard cash
The experience itself with the animals and trainers was really great! BUT one of the ladies in the entrance / gift shop was unfriendly as we entered acting as if we were bothering them to even come through the door. The concession stand help was not friendly at All! Then as we were leaving , there were several people inside shopping and one of the ladies in the gift shop practically screams at everyone that we must have our masks on completely covering our mouth and nose !! That was totally uncalled for and very unprofessional ! Also we paid $20 for two pictures of my grandsons with the sea lions that were very blurry. Tickets are not cheap so I fully expected to be treated as if my money was appreciated. Rudeness is inexcusable!!!! Probably will not be back!!!
My son ate cheese crackers and threw up all over the sidewalk in front of the door.
Not worth the $70 to get in (that is WITH a discount). Hardly any attractions. Most were closed or gone. The ceiling in gift shop is leaking everywhere. Only one show each per day and it was so crowded we didn't feel comfortable in the large crowd (with no social distancing) to watch, so we just left. Won't be back anytime soon!!! What a ripoff!!
We had an amazing time and comet the dolphin was the best !!!!
Everyone is very kind, accommodating, and educated on their expertise. It s much more than just playing with dolphins. Royal swim is worth it. I had Matti as my instructor for dolphins Luna and Pax. However, I m thankful for my experience. Did it twice!
Took my 4 and 1 year old son there on our vacation. They really enjoyed seeing all the animals and the shows were great as well. The only reason I m not giving it 5 stars is there were few exhibits and the facility was not well kept.
The people are really nice and the animals never seem bored. The encounters are fun too. I m going their for a 3rd time this summer
this place is no good at all animals are in cages the size of them, so sad they barely have any room to swim and move around absolutely terrible do not recommend. So sad.
Me and my family loved to see the animals and swim with the dolphins my brother was sick and he still enjoyed it I recomend this place if u need a family trip
Nice place to visit rained out on beach and brought family here
Disappointing - Money Trap.....paid for THREE of my kids to experience the dolphin swim and never dreamed they would leave feeling disappointed. There were approximately 12 people in the group with 1 trainer rushing through each of them trying to get in all hand signals and pictures which resulted in them each doing the same pictures twice and missing out on the whole variety of pictures and hand signal opportunities that were supposed to be taken for each person. It Just felt very unorganized and rushed and not the EXPERIENCE they claim to provide. The dolphin RIDE/SWIM was literally 3-4 SECONDS per person.
I did the trainer for a day program there several years back and it was a better experience. Just feel like for what we paid for three swimmers plus two extra admissions , we completely were taken advantage of. The EXPERIENCE is just time for them to snap some pictures so that you can PAY more to get them.
Awesome for the kids! Very nice and clean since the renovation. New management taking care of business! Also, just re painted with Ben line Benjamin Moore paint on the exterior our based at Panhandle Paint & Decorating.
Great place to visit and see ocean life that you normally wpuldnt get to see at your home in alabama
The park is great with lots of fun for the family. However the Gift shop (front office) staff are incompetent and rude. Do not book in advance or they will not extend any offers to you because they already have your money.
Would have been better, but work was being done to some areas that caused a show to be cancelled. It's much like a very small SeaWorld.
Hurricane come in and we had a evacuation other than that it was great
