Not too many visitors that day.
Various activities, which we liked, since we stayed there all day.

Bof I expected better. On the other hand, I really liked the stands for making the rope and the one for cutting the stone. Spectacled with super funny magic. We had a good time

Super exciting, well documented and beautiful demonstrations, of course in French.

Magnificent. We had a lot of fun as a couple and I imagine it is even better as a family. We do not recommend the guided tour, but rather stroll and chat with the artisans.

Great site but not suitable for disabled people in wheelchairs. I have a hard time pushing my wife and the sanitary access is too difficult as well as the dining area so she held back all afternoon. We had to cut our visit short. Great pity!

Splendid construction project! All construction trades are represented in a village adjoining the castle. Blacksmith, cordelier, tavaillonneur, tile maker, dyer, stonemason, quarryman, mason, chzrpentier, etc etc ...
Boots are necessary for the visit in rainy weather.
Construction is already well advanced.

Craftsmen worthy of their knowledge, very beautiful work

Exciting and fun, perfect for learning and understanding how we did before. The guides and workers are there to share their passion and to make discover the discoveries on the old methods of construction. The fortified castle is impressive.
You have to take the day to enjoy it, picnic area, shaded forests, water point, nothing is missing.

A crazy idea with serious people. Third visit in 10 years ..... highly completion to see this magnificent castle. Bravo to all volunteers and coaching. France has talented people !!!!

Very nice job, nice visit. The course lacks signposts. To do even with children.

Awesome. To see the process of building the pieces to build a castle, just fantastic. And the parts they have already done are great to walk through. See the different kinds of mason and woodworkers doing the tasks to build that place is a lot of fun. We spent 4 hours and felt like we had only seen some of it. Small place to grab lunch was very good, and very crowded. Bring a picnic.

A place to discover it is already 3 or 4 times that we do it last 4 years ago still interesting.

A real challenge to build a castle with the means and techniques of the 13th century

Magnificent. A beautiful adventure. To do again when the yard will be finished.

Second visit after coming there almost 7 years ago, still beautiful. Parking in the sun but staff to guide us to the free places. Entrance price + than correct for everything there is to see, explanatory panels on the various points (no panels in the castle part, big negative point ) and the workers are very happy to answer questions (the poor they must always have the same). Catering on site but also picnic areas (this is rare, we are not encouraged to consume). 4h30 of visit for our part, we do not regret at all, if you pass in the area it is absolutely to do !! Very well deserved 5 stars.

The castle, the staff, the guided tour, everything is extra on this side.
On the other hand, the catering is horribly expensive, if I come back, I take my picnic. 35 for two to eat almost nothing and no alcoholic drink that increases the bill!

A unique experience like visiting this experimental site. Better to take your time to appreciate seeing the work of artisans and asking them questions. Thank you to them for their answers and their availability. Magical place. But beware: this is indeed a construction site and not an amusement park. There is no medieval music or fictitious knight fights here. It is not the Puy du Fou. The site can delight families and archeology enthusiasts alike.

An interesting visit and a colossal job. However masons and other stonemasons present their work little and entry is very expensive (14 ).

A very instructive place on the habits and customs in the Middle Ages for both young and old. Note the workshop "stonemason" which will allow you to leave with a unique masterpiece!

A place that is as magical as ever, visit after visit, the 70 artisans do a truly exceptional job!

This is a nice idea and probably a very nice place to visit when there is no crowd ... But too much is too much and because of the number we go from one workshop to another without seeing anything or hear. It would be necessary to limit a gauge on the site so that everyone can take full advantage of it. Special mention at the mill or after a good 1/4 walk we arrive at a mill perfectly inaccessible because of a crowd too large

Unclassifiable! A crazy job that started for 20 years. I dreamed of going there a long time. And I was not disappointed. A kid's dream with life-size toys.

We visited Guedelon in the summer of 2012. Great! Our son, then 10 months old, was also having a good time. We will quickly look again at how far the blackmailers and blackmailers have advanced.

We learn a lot and it remains fun. The people are welcoming and answer all our questions. We had a great time with family, it appealed to the little ones as well as the older ones. Bring good shoes because we walk a lot!
For the 20 years, we attended the show offered every afternoon and it was really great, I recommend it.
