A beautiful historic place where workers build a castle with the means of time ... I recommend taking the guided tour that will teach you more about this site ... I advise to put comfortable shoes because I park is large

A castle is being built here with the resources and crafts from the 13th century. Interesting to see how they used to do that. Lots to see for young and old. Here you can quietly spend a few hours. Recommended !!

amazing. a genius concept to bring medieval castles to life in a way i've not seen anywhere else. there's enough details for anyone, and the place by no means dumbs things down for the sake of children.

I went there about 7 years ... we went back there a few weeks ... what changes, always very pleasant and fun! Bravo

An extraordinary project! Do not go your way. It is surprising and by questioning the craftsmen-architects, you will learn exciting things. On the website, they offer guided tours and workshops.

Great, in view of the work that it represents, and the contact with the craftsmen is very instructive for children and adults.

Very nice site to visit! nice welcome from artisans and animators. Guided tour recommended. The least: Too many people on guided tours. And it would be nice if there were special children's tours. Lots of waiting at the 2 restaurants. And few places at the picnic areas. Not enough toilets and bins.

It had been 10 years since we had come the first time. The yard has evolved a lot but is still interesting. We have adored.

Seeing people restore a castle using the old ways is a good experience.

Really well done, this project. Build a castle using the methods and tools of the past. Not only is it interesting to see that we knew how to think and do a lot with little in the past, but it's also didactic! Plan at least a big half-day to discover the site on your own, and you can do the day if you participate in workshops, or in the guided tour

Well worth a visit! The construction of this castle is remarkable, bravo to the artisans who use only the tools of the Middle Ages. To see and in addition we contribute to the continuation of this very beautiful project

We were very disappointed there is nothing special to see entry too expensive to see the minimum not frankly very very very disappointed I saw much better and cheaper with the show

Super medieval castle and very beautiful mill. In our time what an adventure, it's great what has been done. The different trades are well represented, stonemasons, carpenters, dyers, potters and many others. It is very pleasant to visitor. Have a nice visit

The interest lies in the construction. You have to go back several times to see the evolution.

Very nice visit of this castle under construction in the old. A few for a guide, more than 40 people, it's a lot to hear all the explanations. But the guide Flora was very interesting, a pity for the young people next to us, who have only strum on their mobile! Money wasted by the parents ..... We were really interested in the visit and the site. To redo.

A great day where the builders make us take a trip to the past. The site is impressive, everything is very well explained. To do absolutely the guided tour (1h30 of visit for only 3 euros more!) And the camp of the small knights for the children. Otherwise a lot of bench, very clean toilets, lots of shady picnic tables. Everything can be done in a stroller if you have young children but the baby carrier is more practical. In short we will definitely return.

This castle is being built with original techniques. All artisans are located around the castle. We went in august, it was very busy but because the areau is quite large it did not feel to crowded.

It is an experience to make. If you like medieval history then you will get into the atmosphere. The guided tour will give you the best insight in all the details and info that otherwise you won't be able to value. Suggested.

Still interesting, this is our 5th time since the beginning of the construction which allows us to see the considerable work for an absolutely beautiful result. Bravo.

Since my visit, I see the other castles differently. Excellent way to understand this era with simple and always supported exchanges from the various stakeholders. The trades are presented in a fun way, and demonstrate the interdependence of know-how for the progress of the work.

An exciting site where you discover year after year all the secrets, all the stages of construction of a castle since it is built in the conditions of the Middle Ages.

Highly recommended. So much things to do. It feel like you could stay there forever, talking with each workers. Will certainly come back in the future. Keep up the good work !

A pure wonder, absolutely to visit, we will spend hours there because there is so much to see, learn and understand. On the other hand, if you want space to park, you have to go there at the opening. Do not go through it without stopping there

What an adventure for 22 years !! Thank you to these pioneers who make our children discover ancestral techniques and a fortiori, that everything cannot be bought, that hard work, patience and abnegation are necessary to obtain satisfaction for a job well done.
