Unreliable and not transparent at all. Package 1 of 2 delivered last week. Both packages arrived together and only 1 delivered. The other has been kept in the depot since last week. Telephoning is not possible, "they work from home" and you have to send an email .... and of course you will not receive an answer at all. Stay away from GLS as far as possible.

Press 1 for Dutch and you will get a French speaking person on the line: so they are not very customer-friendly either. To avoid! My package that I have been waiting for for 12 weeks has not been found for 1 month ...

Worst delivery company ever. They have misplaced an expensive package, or probably stolen it, faked a signature on the delivery proof and are now refusing to help me trace it.

PS. I have seen your response and sent you an email. And no, the seller refuses to file a complaint because you have conveniently provided them with some fake proof of delivery bearing a signature that is not mine. This not only constitutes theft, but also forgery. I don't appreciate this irresponsible and unreasonable behaviour. I am not going to go through red tape when I know that all you have to do is ask the delivery guy what he did with that package. I expect a favourable response within the week barring which i will be going to the local police station to file a complaint.

Society that shouldn't even exist anymore !!?!
I receive an email confirming the correct delivery of my order at 5:28 pm when I am in front of my home with my neighbor. No deliveryman seen, no package received, telephone number unreachable with an answering machine that runs in a loop.
No response to emails and obviously still no news and no packages.
In view of the comments this is common for this company.

Terrible service is putting it lightly. My package was delivered incorrectly and signed with an incorrect name. Because of this the sender can't do anything, Gls keeps referring me to the sender and the neighbors. So lost the package and money.
Noticeable through Test purchase that I am not the only victim.

A real disaster. If it was possible to give less than 1 star but still leave a comment, I would go for that option.
Completely unreliable, they never turn up on time, it usually takes at least two or three days to pick up a parcel from a given address. Usually it is traffic issues, they claim not to find the address although it is clearly indicated. Driver impossible to reach...There is always a reason not to come on the day when I ordered the pick-up. Really disappointing and unprofessional. I do not understand how such a company can survive on a competitive market! This is just a bad joke.

other times a packet had to be delivered, but the box had to remain in a certain position because of the contents, this was clearly indicated, but the driver could not understand this.

Delivery pigeons are more reliable. It's 2nd time that I buy something that is shipped through GLS and also the 2nd time that I've not had a package delivered. I'm certain their drivers don't bother to ring the doorbell and they managed to fill out the delivery attempt form with false info making it impossible for me to obtain my package. Avoid them like the plague.

Been waiting three weeks for a package that should...

Been waiting three weeks for a package that should have been delivered in 4-7 days. The only information I get from track and trace is that my address information is not correct. I doubt it was incorrect in the first place, but regardless have since been in touch with GLS several times to make sure they know my correct address.

What do you know, track and trace updated today with 'can't deliver, more address information needed'. I live on a busy street, never usually have issues with deliveries and have given them my address multiple times. From reading other reviews it doesn't seen like I'm the only one with this kind of experience...

If you have the option, try by all means to avoid this courier. Its license, at least in Belgium, should be removed given the terrible and unprofessional service. Unlike with other providers, I had issues with every single item coming from them. This week I received the notification that GLS would deliver my parcel and my fears were confirmed this morning. Parcel delivered, but not to my address. Only God knows where. No customer service either, I guess overwhelmed

Bad firm. Had to be closed immediately. Their drivers are backward illiterates who can't even read the right church. My package has been delivered somewhere for the 2nd time, I know a lot. I hope to see it again. After this I will never order from a company that works with GLS again. It is outrageous that this is possible.

Bad courier company: deliveries are not completed. If the drivers have not completed their route, they take their parcels with them, metal as a result of the tracking sees your package leaving but not arriving.

Insane incompetence, delivery by gunpowder cannon will have a higher success rate. When I contacted them via email to get an issue resolved, I received the same copy paste response, that did not even apply to what I said, FOUR TIMES. I've sent 14 mails so far, not a single answer. I've called too, they did not pick up. It has been 7 MONTHS since my first email. Sender of package has not received anything back either. Tracking is broken and contradicts itself. Avoid like the Bubonic plague.

I ordered 12 Sigma paint pots from an online paint store. The store has said they will deliver the pots on a palette. My order had to arrive this morning so my father-in-law stayed home all morning. Suddenly I see on my Track & Trace that my order has already been delivered. GLS simply put the palette full of paint outside the garage door without sounding the alarm, which I find irresponsible. My father-in-law and brother-in-law had to bring everything in themselves. If they had called us, the palette could be put in the garage immediately. We are very disaffected about the lack of service.

I have an urgent package being sent from France, there are no updates on the tracking service, no customer service, no contact.
It's in their possession since the 15th of July (today is the 22nd!!)

they have already damaged dozens (hundreds?) of packages. delivery people have already verbally assaulted some of our customers. packages are thrown over fences / gates. forged signatures, so as not to have to deal with customers who receive their damaged order. the HQ, which finds questionable and very probably unlawful excuses for not having to compensate. in short, it is enough to see their general score to understand what is happening there.

Deplorable service. Two orders placed on a site for which GLS is the transporter and two problems encountered. Delivery people are I-don't care and irresponsible, they leave your packages with anyone regardless of who the person is. Right now I still have a package that was lost in the wild but noted as "delivered to my house" with a signature from someone I don't even know. If you want to receive your packages without inconvenience, flee the sites where they are in charge of delivery ...

GLS is mediocre, slow and incompetent: now more than before. They are trying to find the "Covid-19" excuse for their slowness and incompetence. Unfortunately this dates back months and years before covid. I stopped sending my parcels via GLS, and I asked my suppliers to no longer send my parcels to me via GLS.
Do like me: ask your shipper / supplier first before purchasing if they are subcontracting with GLS.
A lot of us telecommute, and that's no excuse to be even worse than before. This is where we see the difference between an organized company capable of remaining competitive and one not.

Parcel that makes 3 round trips between relay point and home without reason, incompetent telephone switchboard that invokes false reason (deliveryman had an accident, deliveryman does not have the code Cubee, ...), we refer you to 50 different operators ... Negative opinions are certainly overrepresented, but nevertheless the note represents the expectations that one can have of the service ... The tracking information and redirection options are bad and laborious, the packages are easily lost.

Be careful before doing anything with this service and make sure it is reliable. There are imposters who try to get caught up in GLS service and want to steal money from you. It is not a certainty that they are impostors or the company itself, but in any case if you are contacted by the email address 'service.gls.groupe@gmail.com' DO NOT RESPOND. They clearly wanted to take money from me by threatening me. I hope this info will help people not to get trapped like I have been.

I gave a 1/5 because a 0 would not let me write a review.

I made an order online and the webshop decided to deliver my parcel with GLS. I provided a delivery adres and billing adres. The Webshop mistakenly entered the billing adres as delivery adres. (I guess that is not a mistake by GSL). However that is where the trouble starts.

I informed the Webshop, and they let me know that it was something they could not change or update afterwards (Which you can do at other transport companies). However, when the parcel could not be delivered, I would receive a note to have it delivered at another time they ensured me. (this note never arrived, nor dit the parcel).

Instead, on the day of delivery I see on the track and trace of the GSL Website that the parcel was delivered, and signed by (guess who)... Me! even though I was not home at the time of delivery and no parcel was delivered at my home adres or mailbox.
Info on the GLS Website was, again, very limited and dit not provide me the information to find my parcel.

Again, I contacted the Webshop who then contacted GSL. Who then took a long time to respond.
After some time, I did receive a message from the webshop to verify the signature that was present on the (proof of) delivery note. Which (as you can guess) was not mine.

14 days after the "delivery" I still did not receive my parcel, and I wonder if I ever will...

At this point, the webshop refunded the parcel, so big thanks to them for at least trying to make up for the trouble we had with GLS.

Long story short:
Save yourself the trouble, and pick any other transport company. Literally any company will do a better job, offer you better flexibility and service than GLS.

After reading hundreds of similar complaints from victims, you realize which monkey country Belgium is. In a stately country such scandals would never be tolerated. Disgusting!!!

Never use their services!
80% of my deliveries are having all sorts of problems.
They can easily mark a parcel being delivered, however it is not.
Their estimation of delivery is always wrong.
Their drivers are totally irrespective to traffic rules.

I request information about my non-received package, explaining that I have already contacted the sender. A certain Kimberly (KS initials, customer.service @ gls-belgium.com) replied that I should contact the sender. But that's what I just did, Mrs. KS! I just wrote it to you. Patient, I explain it to him again. And there ... she answers: "for that, you must contact the sender". Obviously, she does not read emails, and is always satisfied with the same answer.

Seriously Google, allow the possibility of putting 0 stars because even 1 is too much for this service. I have never encountered a problem with other delivery companies. I live in a well-known street, in an apartment that is easy to find and despite that, each time one of my packages is sent by GLS, I encounter worries. Delayed delivery, parcel delivered to another address, parcel damaged, parcel lost .. And instead of responding to you in a friendly manner and trying to fix their mistakes, they will take high and send you off .. I still wonder how this company is standing.

No quality control.

For a FULL year, FULL trucks are left at all times at a depot in the Netherlands.
The promised transit time of 1 day to the Netherlands is a myth. Even without leaving trailers, the transit time is 2 days in 50% of the time. If you leave the trucks it is 3 days.

Because GLS does not care about quality control, all problems persist and escalate.

So quality continues to decline.
Reliability for shipments to the Netherlands continues to decline.
Reliability of collection is left to the discretion of drivers. Is something going wrong? If they do not come to pick up, nothing is investigated, because there is no quality control.

Package lost? You may wait MONTHS for papers ... and MONTHS wait for reply. It doesn't interest them there either.

Problems are common ... all customers have had the same complaints for years ... but GLS doesn't care. Pure mass B2B distribution.

Too bad we can not choose the transport company. I'm still waiting for a parcel for 2 weeks supposedly given to a neighbor. It can be said that he evaporated.
