I gave a 1/5 because a 0 would not let me write a review.
I made an order online and the webshop decided to deliver my parcel with GLS. I provided a delivery adres and billing adres. The Webshop mistakenly entered the billing adres as delivery adres. (I guess that is not a mistake by GSL). However that is where the trouble starts.
I informed the Webshop, and they let me know that it was something they could not change or update afterwards (Which you can do at other transport companies). However, when the parcel could not be delivered, I would receive a note to have it delivered at another time they ensured me. (this note never arrived, nor dit the parcel).
Instead, on the day of delivery I see on the track and trace of the GSL Website that the parcel was delivered, and signed by (guess who)... Me! even though I was not home at the time of delivery and no parcel was delivered at my home adres or mailbox.
Info on the GLS Website was, again, very limited and dit not provide me the information to find my parcel.
Again, I contacted the Webshop who then contacted GSL. Who then took a long time to respond.
After some time, I did receive a message from the webshop to verify the signature that was present on the (proof of) delivery note. Which (as you can guess) was not mine.
14 days after the "delivery" I still did not receive my parcel, and I wonder if I ever will...
At this point, the webshop refunded the parcel, so big thanks to them for at least trying to make up for the trouble we had with GLS.
Long story short:
Save yourself the trouble, and pick any other transport company. Literally any company will do a better job, offer you better flexibility and service than GLS.
