Had to go thru two lawyers that had very horrible communication skills..deadlines were changed all the time. They would make appointments and when it was time to meet up they would change it or have no answer doe you. My husband has cancer and I'm 8 months pregnant, Grubers lack of professionalism out some much more stress on us.

Within an hour of calling Gruber, they sent a representative to my residence to handle my case. I would highly recommend their services! They keep your needs on mind and will keep you at ease throughout the entire process!

From the start, they say that they are responsible for all the doctor visits that they send you to. But they dont tell you that sometimes they are not resposible(for the bill) unles they win the case. So I get a bill and I called the attorney (first time) and flat out he says to me " we are not a bank, a loan place or an insurance place. We are not responsible for that bill" straight out rude ( as usual). I told him that the paralegal was very clear and numerous times had to contact the clinic so I can get aproval from the attorney, to get my xray done.(which meant I dont have the coverage, but the attorney was going to pay) I remember it clearly. If I had been told that I was going to be resnposible for that bill I would of not have done it. He still inssisted they are not responsible. By the way my case was dropped cause they (experts) couldnt find the person who hit me head on. For me, it was a very slow process and some what rude. Good Luck.

I had a wonderful experience with Gruber Law Firm. My lawyer, Nick Herman, and paralegals Kortnie Schlender and Scott Trojan were helpful, attentive, compassionate and very knowledgeable. They checked on me after each doctor's appointment, and sent me flowers after my surgery. They were there every step of the way. It truly was "one call that's all" and I couldn't have asked for better a better attorney, paralegal or law firm. They fought for me, and made me feel like I was important. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a personal injury lawyer.

The follow up and communication from Jessie Swain and her paralegal Leah are horrible. I ve called them and left messages and they still don t return calls. Apparently I m told my case is in limbo but there s no follow up until I reach out. I ve started to make a few calls to other parties and insurance company to compare notes of because I don t trust them anymore. I ll never recommend anyone again.

After dealing with their office for over a month, I just received a call from Attorney Mike, informing me that he had to drop my case because his firm did not do their homework and also took on the driver who hit me. To avoid a conflict of interest, he had to let me go. Forget the fact that the other driver had no insurance was at fault. They still took on both cases, now I m left with a broken arm, no car and no case. Will never recommend them again.

My attorney LIED to me, about the status of my case and the outcome I could hope for. I was left permanently disabled and he told me "the sky's the limit" for damages. He stalled my case through 6 months, until he was nailed in an out and out LIE and I had to report him to the office of lawyer regulation. Then, magically be found my doctors records and could get the other guy to settle. The sky's limit turned out to be less than necessary to cover my medical, nothing for wage loss, and I'm still in debt from expenses to the tune of $8k. If I could have given no stars, I would have.

In December 2016 I was involved in a car accident and was hit broadside by a car going around 40mph. My car was totaled and I had numerous injuries as a result. I contacted three law firms two of which had attorneys come to my home to discuss the case. All agreed to take my case. It was importantly determined that I had zero percent liability in the accident which means that I had no fault. I ended up choosing Gruber Law Firm although they were not one of the firms who had come to my home. The law firm assigned Attorney Hess to me.

The most important attributes of a personal injury attorney is to be an effective communicator with all parties and an EFFECTIVE negotiator with the insurance company. Attorney Hess never met with me to discuss my case at the onset and never even talked to me until I called him about a month after I had signed all the paperwork. Having been in Physical Therapy for over a year and seeing a pain doctor throughout the year it was determined and written that I had a permanency plan of at least $30,000. This means that some of my injuries were permanent and will require treatment throughout my life and should be paid to me as part of my settlement. This must be determined and verified by a doctor(s) and in my case it was. I had also lost over $13,000 in wages over the year and had numerous physical and emotional scars. After about a years time I decided to settle my case and my attorney started the negotiation process. I was still seeing my doctor and physical therapist but at this time it was self-pay.

Seeing that Attorney Hess was not doing his due diligence in my case I started to take action on my own. I decided to contact the CEO of the firm and spent my time and money writing and sending 3 separate certified/return signature required letters to him. These were very detailed explaining all of my losses and describing how I had developed permanent problems including sciatica from the accident, and my doctor told me I would need ongoing treatments. He also recommended continued physical therapy. I further sent the CEO two detailed e-mails describing my physical situation. I was asking that my case be assigned a new lawyer who could handle my case properly or someone to assist the assigned lawyer. Surprisingly none of the five pieces of correspondence to the CEO were answered by him. I also have phone records of eight phone calls made to my lawyer over a two day period with no return calls. I asked my lawyer to send copies of some of my letters to the insurance adjuster so he would have a better understanding of my future medical needs. This was not done. Curious as to what was happening in this claim I went to the website to look at the reviews from the firm. Although there were a few lawyers who got good reviews Attorney Hess had no reviews at all. This told me a lot.

I had no medical conditions or problems before the accident and now I walk with a limp, sciatica, and have other pains and problems requiring me to take pain medications throughout the day. I will need thousands of dollars in medical care in the years ahead including certain injections. So if my liability for the accident is zero percent (which is not common), have a medically confirmed permanency plan and was continuing treatment and having medical problems at the payment of the claim I wonder why I am going to have to pay my own medical costs throughout my lifetime. The insurance company is suppose to pay all medical costs attributed to the accident. My paid claim was very small but the attorney decided he would leave some of my medical bills unpaid so I could pay them myself to add to the claim amount so I pay $400 per month in overdue medical bills. I was told to wait two years in order to sue for additional damages which is unacceptable for someone with immediate and expensive medical conditions. When I asked the attorney to waive his fee so I could pay my future medical bills his answer was "then I will withdraw from the case".

Well I spoke with him again .He is a liar and has made my life and my families worse now the before the accident . A 750,000 case and he couldnt even get me enough to cover my wage loss not yet all the pain and suffering etc... do your self a favor go anywhere alse ! 1 call thats all and your worst nightmare starts!!!...Erick knobloch do the right thing . PAY ME THE MONEY YOU SAID YOU WOULD !

I have not been a client of this law office. However, my son just loves their commercial, and anytime we go to an event in Milwaukee, and they give away a free t-shirt, if it says Gruber on the back he gets super excited. ( He thinks Gruber shirts give him good mojo for the brewers to win if he wears it at their games). He told me he would like an autographed picture for his locker at school. I reached out to the law office and asked if they had a photo they could send to my son. They didn t, but offered to send him some Gruber swag . Today I received a package from them for my son. I have to say, it made his day! He has been feeling pretty bummed out with the schools closing due to the virus, and this was the first huge smile I have seen in weeks. Bottom line, if they are going to go out of their way to send a gift package to my son without getting anything in return except a thank you , I believe that they will go out of their way for you as a client. If I m ever in Milwaukee, and need a lawyer, this is who I would call. Thanks again for making my sons day so much better!!
