I initially retained a big named law firm that is always on tv and radio for my auto accident. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! I was treated like a number and the experience was depressing. I found Catania & Catania online 3 months after my accident. I felt I had no need for a lawyer since I was retired, how wrong was I!! In the last four years I have been involved in two accidents (both of which I was not at fault). I was referred to Catania & Catania through a close friend. I have never once regretted my decision to choose Catania & Catania's services.

Ashleigh has been my line of communication since my most recent accident, which took place in August. She's has made herself immediately available to talk with me for whatever reasons any day of the week. She is prompt to return my calls and emails if she's away. She's extremely thorough and helps me document everything.

Despite the Catanias busy schedule, the attorneys have made themselves available to their clients if needed. They are family men who always make you feel like you're their number one priority when they're talking with you, as if you were apart of their own family. Life events such as accidents are not easy to get through. I was rear ended while in Fort Myers on the interstate a couple months ago. It caused serious health complications and overall I was unable to perform my job as a news reporter for one of the local stations and was soon after let go. It's a demanding career and I don't expect myself to bounce back into another reporting opportunity easily after this is over. After 2 lumbar surgeries from 2 different doctors I have the same symptoms. Low back pain that increases to severe and my right leg muscles seize up. MRI shows a crushed nerve and pinched nerve. Neither doctor fixed that. Catania and Catania say it's up to me to prove that the problem is permanent. Isn't that the job of an attorney. I've had 3rd and 4th surgeon say don't do another surgery. Looks like I'm screwed

I am forever grateful to Desiree Minder and her legal assistant, Jennifer Whinnery, for helping me win my disability case. On Jan. 7, 2015 I suffered a stroke and filed a disability case shortly thereafter. I initially hired another firm and after over a year and a half I discovered they had mishandled my case and lied to me.

I contacted Catania and Catania through their website and Jennifer contacted me almost immediately. In only a month they were able to gather all my medical records (first firm didn't even do that much), reviewed my case with me, and told me what to expect at my hearing. When it came time for the hearing, Desiree called me the day before and we went over everything. On the day of the hearing, I arrived about 30 minutes before the hearing. Desiree was already there waiting for me. In the hearing, she went over all my medical info, asking me questions about my limitations, how my life had changed, the type of work I did, etc. She was so thorough the judge asked me only one basic question about my education. Then it was time for the vocational expert to testify. All he could say was there was no type of work he could recommend for me. Slam dunk win! Desiree was extremely knowledgeable, Jennifer was responsive and answered all my questions professionally and politely. I wish I never would of hired Cantania & Cantania. I wish I would of went with a smaller firm so they'd have time to handle my case. My husband and I were in a car accident 8 months ago. They said no worries we will come to your apartment. So we were waiting expecting for the attorney to sit down and explain everything to us. Well an attorney never showed up but the investigator came to explain everything to us. I thought that was kind of odd. Then we always had to call them. They never called us like they said ever. It took months of me begging to even talk to the attorney handling my case. 8 months later still playing the cat and mouse game except they aren't calling me back like they say I STILL have to call them. Now the things they said they were going to handle I have to handle bc apparently the doctor won't call them back. So now it's on my shoulders to to call the doctor and handle it on my own or my case will never be settled. I will never recommend them to anyone nor will I hire them ever again.
